Murong Rufeng managed a pained smile. He tried to speak but couldn't get the words out. He convulsed twice in Sima Tianquan's arms and then closed his eyes for the last ti.
"Rufeng! Rufeng!" Sima Tianquan cried. But Murong Rufeng had already closed his eyes forever, departing from this world, his heart filled with bitter indignation.
Ye Tian remained standing on the Decisive Battlefield, his face a blank mask. 'I've killed two people now, both with a sword to the heart,' he thought. He felt a fleeting pang of cruelty, but then dismissed it.
