Ye Tian hesitated for a mont before saying, "Instructor Xiao, I don't know what secret you're hiding, but I know that every ti I look into your eyes, an uncomfortable surge of Pure Yang Qi builds up inside . I'm sure you've heard of Pure Yang Qi, right?

Ye Tian expected Xiao Yaoyao to be furious. After all, his words were outrageous. Still, he'd rather tell her the truth to stop her endless questioning. That way, they could avoid future embarrassnt. Or, if he were to accidentally lose control, she would know to get away from him quickly.
But Ye Tian was mistaken. After hearing his explanation, Xiao Yaoyao simply stood there, stunned, as if his words had woken her from a long dream. Tears began to stream uncontrollably from her eyes.
But Ye Tian didn't see it. Had he looked up at Xiao Yaoyao, he would have been utterly shocked. He was too busy bracing himself for a lecture.
After a long mont, Xiao Yaoyao composed herself, though her voice was still choked with emotion. "Ye Tian, are you sure you're telling the truth? You're not deceiving ?"
"Why would I lie about sothing like this? All I can say is that you're special. It all started after we made eye contact in the honors class building. It really freaked out at the ti, so I've been deliberately avoiding you ever since," Ye Tian explained, though he couldn't understand why she sounded like she was about to cry.
"You really have a Pure Yang Body?" Xiao Yaoyao asked again, as if the answer was incredibly important to her.
"Yes. It's this very constitution that causes so much pain sotis. I don't dare get close to won. It was the sa with Ye Feifei in the beginning. Of course, now that she's my woman, it's no longer an issue. Still, I hope you'll keep this a secret for , Instructor Xiao," Ye Tian said. 'She's acting really strange,' he thought.
"I understand. Ye Tian, from now on, could you call Sister Yaoyao? And... would you be willing to co sowhere with ? Would you like to hear my story?" Xiao Yaoyao asked, her gaze on Ye Tian and her tone tinged with a deep emotion.

Xiao Yaoyao began to walk, and Ye Tian followed, maintaining a respectful distance. Neither of them spoke; they simply walked on in silence.
After a long while, Xiao Yaoyao stopped in front of a Teleportation Gate. She glanced back at Ye Tian. "Co on in. I'm taking you sowhere."
Without hesitation, Ye Tian stepped into the Teleportation Gate. Xiao Yaoyao inserted a number of Spirit Stones, then followed him in. They were now standing very close, closer than Ye Tian had ever been to her before.
He could clearly sll her scent—a faint, pleasant fragrance of orchids.
With a powerful tug, the Teleportation Gate activated. A rushing sound filled his ears, and in the blink of an eye, they appeared in a land of verdant mountains and clear waters.
Ye Tian took in his surroundings. They were in a valley surrounded by great mountains on three sides, standing on the only stretch of flat land. Before them lay a vast lake, though it was much smaller than Bibo Lake.
The lakeshore was lined with weeping willows and dotted with flowers he couldn't na. The scenery was captivating. A gentle breeze set the willow branches swaying, carrying the sweet floral fragrance to his nose. Combined with the fine, scale-like ripples on the water's surface, it felt like a paradise on earth. And to top it all off, he had a beautiful woman by his side. The feeling could only be described in one word: aweso!
"This scenery is beautiful. Sister Yaoyao, where are we?" Ye Tian couldn't help but ask, still avoiding her gaze.
"This is a special zone within Linyuan Academy, and also where you will undergo wilderness survival training in the future. The landscape is enchanting and gives one a sense of peace, but that's just on the surface.
"You see those mountains ahead? They're filled with ferocious Demon Beasts. The types of beasts are different on each of the three mountains. Many students die during every survival exercise. Of course, many Demon Beasts die as well.
"This world has always been about the survival of the fittest, where the weak are weeded out. You can't judge things by their appearance. You must be wondering why I brought you here, and why I want to tell you my story, right?" Xiao Yaoyao asked.
"I am very curious. Don't tell your story has sothing to do with this place, Sister Yao?" Ye Tian couldn't help but ask.
A flicker of helplessness crossed Xiao Yaoyao's face. She closed her eyes briefly, as if lost in thought.
After a mont, she spoke. "It actually has nothing to do with this place. But it has everything to do with you. Surprised?"
Ye Tian's heart skipped a beat. 'How could this have anything to do with ? We've only just t. There's no way this could possibly involve !'
Seeing the confusion on Ye Tian's face, Xiao Yaoyao asked, "Do you know how old I am?"
"I honestly don't know," Ye Tian said quickly. "A woman's age is usually a secret. It's rude for a man to ask."
"I'm twenty-one," Xiao Yaoyao said. "But for at least half of my life, I have lived in pain. A kind of unbearable, agonizing pain."
"Why? Please, tell , Sister Yaoyao. If there's anything I can do to help, I will do everything in my power. I won't back down," Ye Tian said with utmost seriousness.
"Are you really willing to help ? You won't take it back?" Xiao Yaoyao asked, her own expression turning serious. It was as if she had been waiting a very, very long ti for him to say those words.
Ye Tian paused for a second, but he had already given his word, so there was no taking it back—especially not in front of a beautiful woman. He could only bite the bullet and declare, "A gentleman's word is his bond."
"Thank you, Ye Tian," Xiao Yaoyao said. "In all the world, you are the only one who can help . Let tell you everything from the beginning..."
