Although it didn't devour it completely, it consud more than half of the Energy, drastically reducing its Attack Power.
However, the dragon gradually began to blur. After all, Ye Tian's Power Realm was limited. If he had broken through to the Four Veins or had completed his Cultivation of the Chaos Thunder Strike, he might have been able to slay it outright.

The Snake King didn't wait to see if Ye Tian would agree. He knew he couldn't let Ye Tian get injured again. Otherwise, the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python would surely co looking for trouble, and his dream of evolving into a Barbaric Flood Dragon would be dashed.
With a quick flash, he brandished his Snake Bone Sword, leaving an afterimage as he charged the Golden Bull Demon on the ground. However, the bull was still paralyzed due to the Thunder Power. Even though it saw the Snake King charging, it was unable to dodge.
The feeling of knowing death was imminent but being powerless to stop it was agonizing and bitter. At this mont, two streams of clear tears actually flowed from its massive eyes—it was so human-like.

The surrounding space seed to tear apart. The wind howled and the heavens changed color as a massive, two-ter-long Sword Aura shot from the Snake Bone Sword, aid straight for the Golden Bull Demon's head.
There were no surprises. The Golden Bull Demon's enormous head was cleaved in two. A fountain of blood sprayed out as it died, filled with bitter unwillingness. On its cloven head, its eyes remained wide open, a testant to its inability to rest in peace.
The Snake King directly extracted the Gold Elent Magic Crystal from the Golden Bull Demon's body. It was a golden, egg-sized orb, with the Gold Elent still fluctuating on its surface.
The Snake King then returned to Ye Tian's side. "Young Master, I have slain the Golden Bull Demon. This is its Gold Elent Magic Crystal. Please, accept it!"
Ye Tian was now sitting on the ground. He simply waved a hand, saying nothing. At that mont, a powerful surge of Gold Elental Energy was wreaking havoc inside his body.
But then he discovered that his body could actually absorb this seemingly indestructible Gold Elental Energy. He decided to focus on absorbing the rampaging Gold Elental Energy within him before doing anything else.
Little did he know, the First Form of the Chaos Thunder Strike that Ye Tian needed for his Cultivation was called Gold Slash. One had to master the Gold Elent before they could even begin its Cultivation. Perhaps this was all fated to be.
