Ye Tian was growing anxious. The Beiming Li Fish was terrifying, and he could barely restrain the urge to attack. However, the thought that his own attacks would be useless against such a behemoth filled him with anxiety.
The Eight-winged Golden Scale Python, the Snake King, and the Beiming Li Fish had all revealed their true forms. A battle between such colossal Demon Beasts was a spectacular sight. Their attacks were imnsely powerful, a heart-stopping spectacle for any witness.
The Beiming Li Fish's terrifying, cold aura spread rapidly through the air. Ye Tian watched as the area for miles around transford into a world of ice, completely frozen solid by Profound Ice.
The Snake King and the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python were once again in a bind. Faced with this unique Elental Attribute, the two of them were powerless to resist. Even their earlier attacks had been intercepted by the terrifyingly cold air, rendering all their efforts futile.
"HAHAHAHA! Now you see the power of my Profound Ice Qi! This has been quite a haul. Not only did I get a Profound Ice Pearl that has gained Spiritual Wisdom, but I also get to devour an Eight-winged Golden Scale Python. Of course, the flesh of a Tier Five Demon Beast is quite a delicacy as well," the Beiming Li Fish bood with laughter.
Spoken by such a massive creature, the voice was like the tolling of a great bell, causing Ye Tian's eardrums to ache from a distance, as if they were about to rupture.
It was even more powerful than the Sonic Attack he had faced from the Earth Bear. What infuriated him most was that he was frozen solid and couldn't even cover his ears, forced to endure this inhuman tornt.
"Insignificant human, do you understand my power now?" the Beiming Li Fish said. "In my eyes, you are no more than an ant. Killing you would be as easy as flipping my hand. And now, I'm going to let those two fools watch with their own eyes as I slaughter you."
'I've cursed this Beiming Li Fish's entire family tree by now,' Ye Tian thought. 'This idiot doesn't realize that if it keeps talking, it won't even need to kill . The sheer volu of its voice will take half my life.'
"If you dare touch my brother, I'll self-destruct right now! We can all just perish together!" the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python roared from within the ice.
'I can't let anything happen to Ye Tian,' he thought. 'Even if I have to die, I won't let his life be endangered.'
Hearing the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python's words made Ye Tian even more anxious. "Ye Lin, don't do anything foolish! It can't do anything to ! I'm going to kill it!"
After speaking, Ye Tian rapidly began to communicate with the Profound Ice Particles. He had to break free from the Profound Ice as quickly as possible; he couldn't let Ye Lin co to harm.
People often unlock their hidden potential in monts of extre danger, and this was exactly the case for Ye Tian. He could already communicate with Profound Ice Elent Particles, so doing so now felt surprisingly easy.
What shocked Ye Tian most was the feeling that he could now resonate with the Water Elent itself. If he could truly achieve this, he would no longer have to fear the Beiming Li Fish.
Once he achieved resonance with the Profound Ice Elent Particles, the Beiming Li Fish's attacks would beco completely powerless against him. He, on the other hand, would be free to use his Martial Skills. Then, the one to die would be the Beiming Li Fish.
'My only worry right now,' Ye Tian thought, 'is that the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python will do sothing rash, like he said—choosing to self-destruct as a last resort.'
But worrying was pointless. He trusted that because of their Soul Contract, Ye Lin would be able to sense his current thoughts.
'I just need to hold on a little longer. Once I achieve resonance with the Profound Ice Elent, this crisis can be averted.'
Sweat beaded on Ye Tian's forehead as he strained with all his might to communicate with the Profound Ice Elent.
Seeing the motionless Ye Tian inside the Profound Ice, the Beiming Li Fish declared, "It's ti to end your pathetic little life! I think I'll just swallow you whole!"
After its booming voice faded, it opened its enormous mouth and took a powerful breath in Ye Tian's direction. Instantly, a chunk of ice several ters in diater—with Ye Tian frozen inside—was sucked into the air.
The chunk of ice then flew toward the Beiming Li Fish's mouth. The sight terrified the Snake King and Ye Lin, who were still trapped in the Profound Ice Layer. The Snake King, in particular, was overco with despair.
Ye Lin was equally worried for Ye Tian, but through their faint soul connection, Ye Tian had told him he would be fine. So, he trusted Ye Tian. He was no ordinary person—he was the War Dragon, the master of Shen Li Palace.
He also knew that if anything truly happened to Ye Tian, he would die along with him. Yet, when Ye Tian entered the Beiming Li Fish's mouth, he felt no sense of discomfort himself. That ant there was no need to worry.
"Snake King, don't worry," the Eight-winged Golden Scale Python said. "The boss isn't that easy to kill. He has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Perhaps being swallowed by the Beiming Li Fish is the perfect opportunity to kill it."
The Snake King was mustering all his strength to break free of the Profound Ice encasing his body. But the temperature was so low that any crack he managed to create would instantly freeze over again.
His repeated failures left him anxious, but Ye Lin's words imdiately cald his heart. He might not have believed anyone else, but he had complete faith in what Ye Lin said.
After all, Ye Lin was a King. Furthermore, he shared a Soul Contract with Ye Tian, which ant he would know Ye Tian's current condition.
"King," the Snake King said, "since the young master isn't in danger, how about we work together to shatter this Profound Ice? We can't break it from the inside, but maybe we can from the outside. What if we use all our strength to lift our ice-covered bodies into the air and then slam into each other?"
Ye Lin knew the Snake King's suggestion was a desperate, last-ditch effort. "Alright! Let's give it a try! As soon as I'm free from this Profound Ice Layer, I'll make the Beiming Li Fish die a miserable death!"
And so, the Snake King and Ye Lin both began to circulate the Spiritual Power in their bodies with all their might, lifting their entire forms into the air. The effort consud an imnse amount of Spiritual Power.
Their bodies were already imnse, and with the added weight of the Profound Ice covering them, the feat was incredibly difficult. At that mont, they looked like two colossal pillars of Profound Ice taking flight.
A closer look would reveal sothing red swirling within the Profound Ice Layer encasing them. It was blood, coughed up by the Snake King and Ye Lin from the strain of forcing themselves into the air.
Enduring the intense pain wracking their bodies, the Snake King and Ye Lin flew apart, putting distance between them. Once they were far enough apart, they charged rapidly toward one another.
A terrifying spectacle unfolded in the sky. Two enormous masses of Profound Ice shot through the air and, in the blink of an eye, collided with an earth-shattering BOOM.
The entire ground trembled violently, and huge cracks appeared in many of the surrounding Profound Ice formations. The force of the impact was no less than the full-powered strike of two Tier Five Powerhouses.
Their efforts paid off. Under the trendous impact, the Profound Ice encasing the Snake King and Ye Lin began to crack and then rapidly disintegrated.
