It wasn't long before the three of them arrived at the entrance to the Gravity Chamber. A wave of nostalgia washed over Ye Tian as he looked at it. 'This is where my Divine Dragon Battle Body broke through last ti.'
"Ye Tian, you know what the Gravity Chamber is like," Xiao Yaoyao said, her voice filled with concern. "Please, make the most of this opportunity, but don't go into rooms where the gravity is too strong. We'll be worried."
"Yaoyao, Lin Ling, I know you're worried about , but rest assured, I won't do anything reckless," Ye Tian said. "I've been away from the academy for a long ti, and I know you both have things to take care of. Just open the door for , and then you can go."
He then took several dozen Top-Grade Spirit Stones from his Storage Ring and handed them to Xiao Yaoyao. Without hesitation, she placed the Spirit Stones into the grooves at the entrance, then channeled her Spiritual Power to open the Stone Gate.
With a heavy grinding sound, the chamber door slid open. "Ye Tian, I hope you have a major breakthrough this ti," Xiao Yaoyao said. "Starting from the third gravity room, there's a tal button. If you can't take it anymore, just press it, and the gravity in the room will disappear."
"I know. Alright, the door is open. You should both get going. Go do what you need to do," Ye Tian said.
With that, he stepped directly into the Gravity Chamber. Just as the door was closing, he glanced back at the two won, his eyes betraying a hint of reluctance to part. Their eyes, however, held even more, especially Lin Ling's, which seed to shimr with unshed tears.
The chamber door sealed shut. A powerful pressure imdiately descended upon Ye Tian, and he knew the gravity had activated. At its current level, however, it had no effect on him whatsoever.
Without a mont's hesitation, he opened the door to the second chamber and strode inside. The gravity intensified, but it still felt far too weak; he had no need to even channel his Dragon Spiritual Power to resist it.
Ye Tian opened the Stone Gate to the third chamber. The mont he stepped inside, he could feel it. The last ti he was here, this room had nearly killed him with exhaustion. Now, he only felt an intense pressure that made walking a bit difficult, but it still wasn't enough to force him to use his Dragon Spiritual Power.
Perhaps it was just because he hadn't trained under such pressure in a long ti; once he acclimated, he would probably be able to move about freely. The thought made Ye Tian eager to open the door to the fourth chamber.
Still, he restrained himself. The third chamber was designed for Martial Artists at the Three Veins level. Since he had already reached the Third Vein, the pressure naturally felt much lighter. The fourth chamber, however, was ant for Four Vein Powerhouses. That would be a completely different story.
After a while, Ye Tian felt he had completely adapted to the gravity. The formidable Defense Power of the Divine Dragon Battle Body Third Layer was on full display, and it was consuming very little of his Dragon Spiritual Power.
After spending about an hour in the third chamber, Ye Tian walked toward the fourth. He couldn't help but feel a little nervous; after all, this was a room that only Four Vein Realm experts were ant to enter.
Opening the Stone Gate to the fourth chamber, Ye Tian quickly stepped inside, imdiately channeling his Dragon Spiritual Power to avoid being caught off guard by the pressure within.
The Stone Gate sealed shut, and a crushing pressure descended. It was the most intense pressure Ye Tian had ever experienced. He felt as if he were carrying an entire mountain on his back, and he imdiately found himself struggling to breathe.
'This pressure is imnse,' Ye Tian thought in shock. 'Is this really what Four Vein Powerhouses can withstand? It's unbelievably strong!'
But he gritted his teeth and endured. His legs began to tremble uncontrollably, and sweat poured from his skin, quickly soaking his clothes.
After enduring for about fifteen minutes, Ye Tian felt he couldn't hold on any longer. Tiny fissures began to appear in his muscles, and bright red blood started to ooze from them.
Ye Tian forced himself to endure the agony. Perhaps it was because the pain was so overwhelming, but he unconsciously tore his own clothes to shreds.
It is often in the most difficult monts that one can stimulate their greatest potential. Ye Tian understood this principle perfectly, which was why he hoped to achieve a breakthrough under these exact conditions.
He had felt that his Divine Dragon Battle Body was on the verge of a breakthrough ever since his encounter with the Beiming Li Fish, but he had never been able to find the final trigger. Perhaps the Gravity Chamber was the opportunity he had been waiting for.
'Even if I can't break through, I'll get close. The only thing to do now is endure. To bear what an ordinary person cannot, and achieve what they cannot achieve.'
Finally, a mont ca when Ye Tian could no longer hold on. His entire body was slick with blood. If not for the stubborn belief that he could succeed, he would have collapsed long ago.
A single thought scread in his mind: 'I will not be crushed by this gravity! I will not fall!'
"ARGH!" A scream of pure agony finally escaped Ye Tian's lips. He could feel the gravity tearing his muscles and bones apart, as if they were about to shatter into pieces.
The Dragon Spiritual Power inside him surged wildly. Even more frightening, the mystical Dragon Pearl also began to spin rapidly, releasing a terrifying torrent of Energy.
Suddenly, a brilliant golden light erupted from Ye Tian's body. Another cry escaped his lips, but this one was bizarre, astonishing even himself.
He had let out a Dragon's Roar. While it wasn't powerful enough to shake the heavens and the earth, it was strong enough to create powerful echoes throughout the chamber.
Imdiately after, Scale Armor began to form on his body. The scales were golden, but they were faint and flickering. The sight startled Ye Tian, because he knew what they were: Dragon Scales. He was actually manifesting Dragon Scales.
The appearance of the Dragon Scales significantly lessened his pain. He rembered clearly: the manifestation of Dragon Scales ant his Divine Dragon Battle Body had reached the Fourth Layer. This was an absolutely wonderful developnt.
However, the Dragon Scales were still flickering in and out of existence; they hadn't fully ford. He was just a hair's breadth away, but not quite there. He just needed to endure this pressure a little longer to make that final push.
With that thought, Ye Tian stopped channeling his Dragon Spiritual Power, letting his physical body take the full brunt of the force. Without the support of his Dragon Spiritual Power, the pressure instantly felt several tis stronger.
Ye Tian felt a sharp pain flare in his chest, as if sothing was about to erupt from within him. The sensation was already rising in his throat.
It beca unbearable. Ye Tian could no longer hold it back, and a mouthful of fresh blood sprayed from his lips. Perhaps because the pressure in the Gravity Chamber was so imnse, the blood didn't arc away, but was instead slamd back against his own body.
As the blood splattered across the flickering, ethereal Dragon Scales, a bizarre phenonon occurred…
