With a Five Vein Powerhouse like Zhang Xinlan present, finding the Three-Eyed Demon Dogs was incredibly easy. Before long, they ca upon another pack of them.
This ti, however, they were t with a disappointing sight. It wasn't that there were no Three-Eyed Demon Dog Kings; rather, seven or eight students were already struggling to slay the Demon Dogs. Every one of them was injured, and there were even students from the Advanced Class in the mix.
Despite being injured, they were still desperately fighting the Three-Eyed Demon Dogs, and their fervor only grew as the battle raged on. Soon, the students had slain more than half of the pack, including two Three-Eyed Demon Dog Kings.
'My heart aches,' Ye Tian thought. 'Those Three-Eyed Demon Dog Kings have Light Elent Magic Crystals inside them!' He really didn't want to just stand by and watch these students claim them, but he wasn't willing to resort to murder and robbery, either. For a mont, he was in a bind.
Zhang Xinlan noticed the expression on Ye Tian's face and instantly knew what he was thinking. "Ye Tian, why don't we go get a share of the spoils?" she suggested. "We can help them slay these Three-Eyed Demon Dogs, and we'll just take the corpses of the Kings. How about we leave the rest for them?"
Ye Tian understood her intentions. 'Only the Kings have Magic Crystals; the other Three-Eyed Demon Dogs have none. If we take the Kings, all of these students' hard work will have been for nothing.'
He couldn't bear to do it, especially since they were so badly injured. "Xinlan, let's just forget it," he said. "It hasn't been easy for them, either. We can keep searching. If there really aren't any more of these Demon Beasts, we can just hunt other ones instead."
Zhang Xinlan considered this for a mont, then nodded. "All right. I know you don't like to take advantage of others. In that case, let's leave this place."
Zhang Xinlan had barely finished speaking when one of the students charged over. "What do you two think you're doing here? Don't tell you plan on stealing our Magic Crystals, do you? We fought hard to kill these Demon Beasts. You'd better drop that idea right now, or we'll make you regret it."
Ye Tian froze for a second. 'Is this kid insane?' he thought. 'I was being rciful, and he's actively looking for trouble? He really is courting death. If they actually manage to piss off, I might just kill all of them.'
However, he didn't lash out imdiately. Instead, he observed the student who was speaking. The boy was likely from the Interdiate Class. His face was splattered with the blood of Three-Eyed Demon Dogs, and several wounds on his body were still dripping blood.
Zhang Xinlan smiled. "What do the Demon Beasts you kill have to do with us? Are we not allowed to watch? If you'd all been killed by these Three-Eyed Demon Dogs, we could have just reaped the spoils. A golden opportunity like that doesn't co around often."
Just then, the last of the Three-Eyed Demon Dogs were slain. The other students walked over, and they too were surprised to see Ye Tian and Zhang Xinlan. However, their gazes quickly fixed on Zhang Xinlan.
"Well, what a pretty little thing! She must be from the Basic Class!" one of the students said. "Our luck is pretty damn good this ti, stumbling upon another total knockout. Looks like we're all going to get to enjoy ourselves again."
Hearing those words, it was obvious these guys were scum. Ye Tian was deeply disturbed. 'This ans they've already assaulted another female student,' he realized. 'I wonder what happened to her...'
"Old Liu, why are you spouting so much nonsense?" another student said. "Last ti, that girl's life was tragically cut short before everyone even had their fun. I hope we can all be a little gentler this ti. This one is a goddess among won!"
"That's right, we should definitely handle such a treasure with care," yet another student added. "But what about that kid with her? Why does he look kind of familiar?"
"We kill him, of course! A beauty just fell right into our laps, are you going to refuse her? Isn't this what we all look forward to on these field expeditions? Hoping to et a beautiful girl and get a little 'comfortable'? Usually, those stuck-up girls wouldn't give us the ti of day, but out here, they don't have a choice."
"This whole thing is a real surprise," said the student who had first confronted them. "It used to be that each class level had its own Demon Beast Region. This ti, students from all three levels are in the sa area. It's made things a lot more convenient for us, hasn't it? I can hardly wait. So, who's going to kill that kid first?"
By now, both Ye Tian and Zhang Xinlan fully understood the intentions of these n. To even consider committing such a beastly act in broad daylight... it was simply unforgivable.
"Ye Tian, don't act so surprised," Zhang Xinlan said. "I've encountered this sort of thing once before. The ones I t, however, were all slain by . I think I'll be the one to kill these n. It'll save ti, and we can get back to hunting Three-Eyed Demon Dogs.
"And those Three-Eyed Demon Dog Kings they just killed can beco ours without any issue. You don't feel bad for them anymore, do you?" Zhang Xinlan added.
"Not at all. These people deserve to die!" Ye Tian said. "Killing them would be eliminating a public nace. If you don't, other female students who encounter them will suffer a terrible fate."
"Heh, I was waiting for you to say that," Zhang Xinlan said with a smile.
The exchange between the two left the group of students utterly baffled. That woman actually wanted to kill them? 'Did we hear that right?' they wondered. Or were the two of them just trying to scare them off to make a clean getaway?
Or maybe the two of them were scared out of their minds. How ridiculous. Regardless, today they would kill the boy and have their way with the girl, right here and now.
"You want to kill us? You think you have that kind of power?" one of the students sneered, his eyes staring straight at Zhang Xinlan's enormous chest. "I'd suggest you save your energy. You're going to need a lot of it to enjoy yourself in a bit!"
Ye Tian had reached his limit. "Xinlan, if you don't act, I will! These bastards don't deserve to live!"
Zhang Xinlan returned a knowing smile. "I'm on it. I'll let you witness my Martial Skill one more ti!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Zhang Xinlan turned her palm over. A cluster of white light appeared in her hand. With a swift wave of her palm, the light condensed into a small, white sphere.
The sphere shot into the air like an arrow from a bow, then rapidly expanded into a massive do of light. Simultaneously, an imnse, unprecedented pressure descended, trapping the n inside.
Seeing this, Ye Tian was stunned. 'This is unbelievably powerful,' he thought. 'I wonder what Martial Skill this is to possess such might.'
Once caught within the do, the students were all forced to the ground, crushed by the imnse pressure. It was more than they could withstand; the weaker ones even began to vomit blood.
"Xinlan, are you just going to crush them to death?" Ye Tian asked in shock. 'This is horrifying. To think there's a way to kill people like this...'
"You guessed it," Zhang Xinlan said. "These n are worse than beasts, so they deserve a miserable death! Ye Tian, rember this. This is a Martial Skill that anyone who has reached the Five Vein Realm can use! It's called Spatial Pressure!"
