After unleashing Gold Slash, Ye Tian felt as if his body had been completely drained. He nearly lost his balance, and his face turned deathly pale in an instant.
'I didn't expect using the War Dragon Heavenly Arm after my power increased would drain so much energy.' Still, Ye Tian was confident his attack had severely wounded the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast, because he saw the surrounding landscape undergo an astounding transformation after he launched it.
The snow and Profound Ice were blasted into the air, blotting out the sky as they swirled about. But in the blink of an eye, they were shredded to nothingness by his Golden Sword Qi. This was, without a doubt, the most terrifying attack Ye Tian had ever witnessed.
The massive ice ball collided with the Golden Sword Qi, producing a trendous BANG. The unstoppable nature of the Gold Attribute instantly shattered the ice ball into minuscule fragnts, which then vanished completely. Even the vaunted Li Ice Fire disappeared without a trace.
The Ice-Attribute Demon Beast's attack was utterly dispersed by Ye Tian's Gold Slash, no longer posing any threat to him. However, after shattering the ice ball, his Golden Sword Qi continued onward, hurtling toward the Demon Beast itself.
Although the Sword Qi had weakened considerably, it was still incredibly powerful. The sight stunned Ye Tian, but the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast was shocked beyond words. 'My most powerful attack was just dispersed by a re human? This is impossible!'
This human's Power Realm was at most Four Veins. For an ant at the Four Veins Realm to shatter an attack from a Six Veins powerhouse was simply unheard of.
Yet, such an impossible event was unfolding right before its eyes. It was so unbelievable that for a mont, the beast forgot to dodge, only able to watch as the Golden Sword Qi struck its body.
The massive horn bore the brunt of the impact and was instantly severed. Next ca the head, then the body. In the blink of an eye, its enormous fra was cleaved in two. The head tumbled to the ground, its huge eyes wide open in eternal, uncomprehending shock.
Ye Tian was dumbfounded as he watched the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast collapse. He had actually slain a Tier Six Ice-Attribute Demon Beast. It felt so much like a dream that he couldn't snap back to reality for a long ti.
However, the profound weakness coursing through him caused him to collapse onto the ground, gasping heavily for breath. The Dragon Scales covering his body had vanished, his right hand had reverted from a Dragon Claw back to normal, and he felt utterly empty within.
The Profound Ice Pearl, which had been absorbing the Profound Ice Qi from the air, flew over to Ye Tian. "Big Brother, you actually killed that thing! You're incredible! But you're very weak right now, so you should hurry and recover. I'll go check for its Li Ice Fire and retrieve the Magic Crystal for you."
"Thanks, Ye Bing! Since I killed the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast, we should have cleared this trial. You need to be quick, or it'll be a problem if we get teleported out before you're done," Ye Tian said.
"I know, Big Brother. You should focus on recovering your Spiritual Power! You look terrible right now!" After speaking, the Profound Ice Pearl's Artifact Spirit flew off toward the corpse of the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast.
Ye Tian gave a faint smile and took out a Top Grade Spirit Stone from his Storage Ring to begin absorbing its energy. With his body so depleted, he didn't dare to be reckless and absorb it too frantically.
A short while later, Ye Bing returned. Floating behind it was a milky-white, goose-egg-sized crystal. It was, without a doubt, the Ice-Attribute Demon Beast's Magic Crystal. Ye Tian, anwhile, was still absorbing the Energy from the Top Grade Spirit Stone.
Suddenly, the entire space began to tremble violently, as if it were about to collapse. Ye Tian, who was sitting on the ground, snapped his eyes open, forced to stop absorbing the Spirit Stone.
Seeing the Profound Ice Pearl before him, he said, "Ye Bing, get back in the Storage Ring, quickly! This place is about to disappear. I'll let you out if I need you!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Ye Tian sent the Profound Ice Pearl into his Storage Ring with a re thought. He then got to his feet and watched the constantly shaking space.
"Excellent. To slay such a powerful opponent with your ager strength... you have passed the first trial. Now, proceed to the second! I hope you will perform even better!" a voice announced from the sky.
Ye Tian glanced at the sky. Just then, the shaking stopped. His vision went black, and the only sensation was a WHOOSHING in his ears. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in an idyllic scene, filled with the scent of flowers and the sound of birdsong.
'Where am I? This must be the second trial. Don't tell there are more Demon Beasts here? If so, that's a huge problem. In my current state, I'd have trouble dealing with even a Tier Three Demon Beast,' Ye Tian thought helplessly.
He scanned the area with his Divine Sense and found no Demon Beasts within a radius of several miles. Aside from so Low Level animals, there were no powerful beasts, which was a great relief.
'Immortal Qi? There's a dense concentration of Immortal Qi here!' Ye Tian discovered a pond, several hundred ters across, about a mile away from his position. Purple lotus flowers grew in the pond, and they were the source of the Immortal Qi.

Not overthinking it, Ye Tian sat by the edge of the pond and began to absorb the Immortal Qi. The Energy from the Top Grade Spirit Stone had been potent, but it paled in comparison to this. 'I know the energy of that other world is even more formidable,' he thought. 'One day, I absolutely have to go and see it for myself.'
As the Immortal Qi entered his body, Ye Tian felt as if he were basking in warm sunlight. The exhaustion seed to imdiately lt away. The magical sensation puzzled him, but he didn't have ti to dwell on it.
An unknown amount of ti passed before Ye Tian opened his eyes. He could feel that his depleted Immortal Spiritual Power had been fully restored. Moreover, his Power Realm had risen again. The increase wasn't as significant as the last ti, but he was certain he had broken through to the Four Veins Realm.
Ye Tian stood up and carefully examined the lotuses in the pond. He had no idea what the objective of this second trial was, or how to pass it. With no hints whatsoever, it was incredibly perplexing.
He stood by the pond for a long ti, growing frustrated by the lack of answers. Then, he noticed that a few of the lotuses were different from the rest. They emanated faint energy fluctuations, and their colors were slightly different as well.
These particular lotuses weren't a single color; one even had three distinct colors. He began to suspect that the second trial had sothing to do with these flowers…
