Zhang Xinlan's heart was in her throat. She was completely powerless, able to do nothing but worry. The feeling was agonizing, and for the first ti, she felt her body brimming with Energy that had nowhere to go.
Ye Tian quickly composed himself. After a glance at Ye Bing, he said, "So what if it's the Death Qi Wood Thunder? I refuse to believe we can't overco it. Ye Bing, you just need to take care of yourself. Don't worry about anything else. I won't let you down."
"Big brother, the Death Qi Wood Thunder basically exists to kill the one Passing the Thunder Tribulation! You tell not to worry, but how can I not? This is all my fault! I've dood you!" Ye Bing said helplessly, his voice thick with guilt.
"I don't bla you. We're brothers. Besides, helping you with your Thunder Tribulation is a great benefit to , too. My power is increasing, and my Defense Power is much stronger than before. The Tribulation Thunder is about to strike. Stay sharp!" Ye Tian said with grave seriousness.
After speaking, he paid Ye Bing no more mind. He focused completely on circulating the Immortal Qi within his body, simultaneously infusing every last bit of unabsorbed Gold Elent into the Black Glaze Sword. In that mont, the Black Glaze Sword glead with a brilliant golden light, transforming into a Golden Sword.
Now that one of the Black Glaze Sword's Restrictions had been broken, Ye Tian was even more confident. Combined with the threefold Attack Power from his War Dragon Heavenly Arm, he believed that even if the Death Qi Wood Thunder was incredibly ferocious, he could still disperse most of it.

Those who could fly were naturally at the Five Veins Power Realm, though there were a few from the Six Vein Realm as well. Ye Tian and Zhang Xinlan, however, were completely unaware of this.
Suddenly, a bolt of green lightning split the sky. It wasn't very thick, only about the width of an arm, but as it descended, it felt as though all life had been drained from the space around it, leaving it saturated with an incredibly strong Death Qi.
Ye Tian hastily unleashed Gold Slash. This was the most powerful Gold Slash he had ever executed. The golden Sword Aura stretched a full five ters, its terrifying Sword Qi instantly coalescing into a massive golden dragon that charged the green lightning.
When Zhang Xinlan saw the attack Ye Tian unleashed, she was beyond astonished. 'If that attack were aid at ,' she thought, 'I'd be killed instantly, with no chance to even fight back.'
She could clearly sense that the attack packed the power of the Late Six Veins Realm at a minimum, perhaps even reaching the Attack Power of a Seven Veins expert. 'How did Ye Tian do it? He's only at the Five Veins Power Realm!'
After unleashing that attack, Ye Tian felt completely drained, as if his power had been scooped out of him. He hastily checked his body and was shocked to find that over half of his Immortal Power had vanished. This had never happened before.
He even wondered if it was because he was facing true mortal danger that his body had instinctively consud so much Immortal Power. The mont he unleashed that Gold Slash, the very world seed to change.
Huge cracks began to spiderweb across the ground where they stood, and the once-stable mountain peak started to collapse, all due to the force of that single attack.
If Ye Tian's attack had struck the mountain directly, it would have been instantly razed to the ground. That this was happening rely from the resulting Energy fluctuations was a testant to the attack's imnse power.
The golden dragon slamd into the green lightning. In the blink of an eye, the dragon began to shrink—a clear sign its Energy was dissipating. Of course, the green lightning had also diminished considerably.
The two imnse energies ground against each other. But the lightning was just too fast; before the golden dragon could fully dissipate, the bolt struck Ye Tian, who was now hovering in mid-air.
With the mountaintop collapsing, there was no longer any ground to stand on. Zhang Xinlan and Ye Bing were also hovering in the air. In the very instant the green lightning struck him, Ye Tian diverted a tiny sliver of it onto Ye Bing.
"Xinlan, get Ye Bing out of here! The power of this green lightning is too ferocious!" Ye Tian exclaid frantically, as he could clearly feel what was happening to his body.
Zhang Xinlan was surprised Ye Tian could even speak. She imdiately turned to Ye Bing. "Ye Bing, let's go! Your big brother must have his reasons for saying that. We need to move away so we don't distract him."
Ye Bing wanted to refuse, but now he had a trace of the Death Qi Wood Thunder on himself. He knew exactly what it felt like, so he could only nod and retreat quickly with Zhang Xinlan.
Of course, neither of them would abandon Ye Tian. The virulence of the Death Qi Wood Thunder was astonishing; as it descended, Zhang Xinlan saw the surrounding trees rapidly wither and die.
Even though it was night, her powerful vision, aided by the flashes of lightning, allowed her to see everything clearly. She could even feel her own life force seemingly draining away, a deeply unsettling sensation.
The golden dragon had blocked more than half of the Death Qi Wood Thunder that struck Ye Tian, but even so, what remained subjected him to a fate worse than death.
He could clearly feel his life force draining away at a terrifying rate. Wrinkles began to appear on his fair hands, and the skin all over his body took on the texture of an eighty-year-old man's. In an instant, he had beco ancient.
But that was secondary. The Death Qi Wood Thunder was still frantically ravaging his body. His skin began to fester, and his internal organs started to break down. He had no way of stopping it, let alone trying to influence it.
Ye Tian was shocked. 'This could actually kill ,' he thought. 'I thought my powerful Defense Power and amazing Recovery Power would see through, but I never expected it to be this terrifying. I was too careless. But even if I had been on guard, it would have been useless. This horrifying Death Qi Energy is simply unstoppable.'
Ye Tian could feel himself aging, his Energy draining away with frightening speed. He was sure it wouldn't be long before he was truly dead. He had no idea what to do.
"Kid, your Energy is draining fast! You have to absorb an even greater power source! Check your Storage Ring for any powerful Energy Crystal Stones you can absorb! If you wait any longer, it'll be too late!" an anxious voice suddenly echoed in Ye Tian's mind. It was the War Dragon Remnant Soul.
