The feeling of the Gate was vastly different from teleportation or the Law Gate Lind had created long ago. That had been based off a wormhole in concept but this was vastly different. He was in an honest to God spatial tunnel.

The feeling of the void was all around him but that was not all. The Laws of Space were practically beating like a heart around them.

It was actually very instructive but he frowned as they moved along the path. It was very flimsy to his Eyes.

"I wonder…" He tried to only examine the mbrane around them and was shocked as he tore it open!

He had not even tried to use Qi or Laws at all! It was barely held together!

"We need to move! Now!" The horses were spurred forward but the wailing wind arrived to indicate the spatial tunnel was being torn apart!

Lind used all he could of Space Laws to keep them safe but he could not do a thing for their path! It was too damn fragile!

For such a sturdy Gate, the connection was tenuous at best! He had not heard of a single thing about the tunnel being frail!

The Thunderhooves lived to their na as they sped along. Still, Lind knew they were not going to make it!

He could feel the spatial tunnel unraveling!

He got desperate and started creating his own spatial tunnel! It was not much better than the flimsy one before but it slowed the destruction of the current one! It was all he could do but still it was unraveling!

"We are not going to make it to our destination, are we?" Delenn asked him the question he already thought in his own head. He did not see the point to answer but considered a dangerous alternative.

Unlike other Immortals, he could tear through space with ease. It was not quite safe in the current circumstances as he would be doing it blind but it was better than falling into the void!

"Hold on!" His hand glowed with erald light as the very fabric of the world was ripped aside. Unlike other tis, he had no idea what was on the other side but only knew it was not the void!

The horses did not pause as they dove into the tear and vanished from the crumbling spatial tunnel. Lind looked back and saw it completely fall apart as the endless void greeted his senses.

He felt pain lance through his head before he closed up the tear behind them. Blinding light greeted them as they ca out in a cloud!

He tried to fly but found he could not! What was going on?! Air whistled past his ears until suddenly he could slow his fall.

He caught the horses and Delenn but the drain on his Qi was massive! His Laws did not help at all!

Out of desperation, he summoned a starship!

The ship shimred with power but the corruption began its work quickly. Still, it flew!

He tossed them all in the open hatch before he collapsed in exhaustion. The ship tried to float but the corrupted Qi was not compatible with it at all! It began to fall slowly out of the sky!

Lind downed so elixirs to quickly recover his Qi and try to help. The wood and tal began to corrupt right in front of him!

Even with a core of harmonic crystals, the tainted Qi did its work! He slamd crystal levers and infused his own harmony but the ship was not alive! He could not fix it like he could living things!

The most he could do was crash safely!

"I am going to bring us down as best I can! Grap hold of anything you can!" Delenn answered but the poor horses were loose! He quickly conjured chains of erald light to both heal and restrain them safely.

It was all he could spare as the clouds finally parted to reveal a massive range of mountains! It was sothing he could consider a desolate area in the lower layer but up in the second, who knew what he would find?

He had no idea where they were or how far they had co but given a rough estimate of travel ti, they had only moved a month west at best!

The wind was still whistling past the open hatch. He could not spare ti to bother with it but the creak of the walls told him the fusion of parts was falling apart fast!

The thrice cursed taint was ripping his creation apart!

Half the controls went dark instantly as the control systems were breaking down between the bridge and the power. The flow of Qi was going wild as well but nothing Lind did could stop it.

They were still too far in the sky!

He smashed a glass case and a wall swiveled open.

"We have no choice but to risk it! Put this on!" He tossed a pack to Delenn and then went to the horses. He could see they were panicking but he cald them with his aura. If not for his control of Gravity Laws, Lind would be tossed all around the ship just working around them!

The packs he had were quite large and the straps adjusted to secure the chest and hind quarters safely.

[This will keep you safe.] He then used the chains to move towards the hatch but luck was not on his side. A screech was heard as the whole deck suddenly tilted 90 degrees!

Several choice words crossed his mind but he was able to keep stable. Delenn was not so lucky as she smashed her head into the bulkhead! She was out!

"Nothing is ever easy! By the spirits!" He ensnared her with chains but he could not do as he was about to with the horses. "Good luck!"

He tossed them out to terrified neighs but he had no ti!

He grabbed Delenn and launched out of the hatch into the sky! The ship was tumbling at the sa speed but flying apart to his naked eyes!

Such a reaction shocked him at its speed but not the result. He had no ti to study it or observe anything more as the pair of them kept tumbling.

He quickly grabbed a ripcord and yanked on it. A seal ripped open and cloth shot out as it whipped open.

Lind tried to hold on but his grip had no real purchase without injuring Delenn. He fell away and saw her parachute opened safely.

The 2 horses were also floating down now. Unlike refined materials, the perfectly normal fabric happily slowed the fall of the 3 beings as he kept tumbling down. He used his draconic flight to stabilize his orientation, but that was all.

The ground was closing in fast but he simply calmly looked at it as it closed in.

"Well, this is going to hurt." He spoke aloud but the storm of air swallowed it up. He began to see the mountains were not so barren as trees twisted up out of the rock. Their trunks were very stunted but thick and powerful.

He began to pick out movent as well but not what it was. He gathered a deep breath and roared as loud as he could. It was like a shock wave as everything scattered away from him despite being so far up in the sky.

Lind waited until he was about to see the detail on the leaves when he slamd outward with his Qi and draconic ability to fly. His body scread in strain but then he still slamd into the stone at incredible speed.

He had summoned his scales at the last mont but he heard at least a handful of bones snap but his impact spared him the pain. He quickly downed an elixir to heal as he got up as quickly as he could.

The 3 parachutes were so far up in the sky but he was scanning for anything with wings. Birds and other animals could still fly and he did not want to leave them defenseless.

It was thankfully barren due to his previous roar but it still was excruciating waiting for the parachutes to bring them down. He recalled his children finding the idea of parachutes silly but he was glad he had forced them through.

He was able to get to the landing area of the horses and use his Qi to catch them safely. They cald down and he soothed them so more as well. He then saw Delenn being carried off by the currents as she was unconscious still.

Using his Arts to carry the 2 horses, he moved quickly to intercept her. He could sll beasts traces but nothing threatening thus far. Still, an unconscious Immortal was vulnerable like anyone else.

It was an odd sight seeing 2 Thunderhooves floating behind a man on the mountainous terrain, but the Immortal aura would terrify anyone getting near the trio. He finally ca to a cliff and frowned.

She was going to fall very close to it but he would have to fly to catch her and he was not in peak condition.

"Stay here." He downed 3 elixirs and felt gorged but then shot into the air. It was like there was a hole in his dantian as the Qi vanished instantly.

He just barely snagged the parachute and then tossed a grappling hook back to the cliff. It made a far heavier thud than it should for its size. It dug into the stone like a hot knife through butter.

Lind then felt gravity take hold and the rope swung them back right into the cliff face. More bones cracked but nothing new broke. He sighed and ensured she was ok before half floating and half climbing back up to the horses.

He finally got to the top and found them calmly waiting.

"Well, we arrived." He was sweaty, bleeding, and basically exhausted. He still was able to recover with an elixir for himself and administered one to Delenn. He then erected his wards and made a small fire.

He looked around but frowned deeply as he recalled the map he had looked at before. No where on it was the current terrain. Just where were they?
