How a secret realm is seperate from the outside world completely depends on how it was created. Most naturally ford secret realms exist outside of the laws of the outside world, such kind of secret realms, they can only be created by a cultivator of at least the Void Refinent Realm and above. Secret realms that still reside within the outside world and are just hidden sowhere are rarely naturally ford, instead, they are most of the ti created by cultivators below the Void Refinent Realm.
