He whispered softly, "Chen’er, this is my ho, the holand of generations of the Ye Family, where we’ve lived from generation to generation. I don’t want to leave this place, do you understand?"
Ye Chen’s heart trembled. Without a word, he knew his father had decided to fight.
Suddenly, Ye Chen smiled and said, "Dad, do you know that only those above the Martial God Realm can participate in the Heaven Punishnt battle?"
Ye Ao was stunned, "Aren’t I a Martial God?"
"You used to be, but not now, nor in the next ten years," Ye Chen said with a gentle smile. Ye Ao seed to understand sothing as he looked at his son and hurriedly said, "Chen’er, you can’t do this. Your dad is no coward."
"Dad isn’t a coward, but your son can’t let you march to your death. Sorry, Dad." Ye Chen acted swiftly, releasing a streak of Divine Light into his father’s body before Ye Ao could react. The light transford into runes, sealing away his Primordial Spirit and subduing more than half of the Divine Power within him.
This was Ye Chen applying a seal, restricting Ye Ao’s Cultivation.
Now, Ye Ao’s strength was sealed to less than a third of what it once was. He remained powerful but was no longer at the Martial God Level.

"Dad, I’ve left a seal within you. He wasn’t sure if this incursion would include forr comrades like the War King, Taisu King, Peacock King from previous lives, so he needed to be fully prepared.
Sleepless through the night, and as dawn broke in the east, Ye Chen stood tall and exhaled a long breath, "Elder Yan, I hope you can help ."
Elder Yan’s figure floated out, looking at him, "What do you wish of ?"
"I would like Elder Yan to create an Alternate Space. It need not be hidden within the Space of Plane. Being in reality is safer. Then I will set up a Magic Array, and Elder Yan, I need your help building it. We can create a realm-spanning Great Formation, erasing its trace, invisible even to the strongest of the Saint Realm," Ye Chen proposed. This was the solution he had concocted after a whole night of thought.
He wanted to take them through the King’s Ancient Road, even to the Heavenly and Myriads of Realms, but there were restrictions on the King’s Ancient Road, and his father, Ye Ao, was sure not to leave the family.
Elder Yan shook his head, "There’s no need for such trouble. The world where the King’s Ancient Road lies will do. It’s much more stable and secure than anything I could create.
