Day by day, month after month.
One year, two years, three years...
There is no calendar in the mountains, and the cold ends without knowing the year.
As Ye Chen cultivated in seclusion, ti hurried by, and the seasons cycled, passing unnoticed. Twelve years had elapsed in the world.
Twelve years might not seem long, but neither is it short. It’s a long ti for mortals, but for cultivators whose lifespans run into hundreds or thousands of years, it’s just a brief period.
Yet, during these particular twelve years, a particularly glorious and remarkable transformation had transpired throughout the Heavenly and Myriads of Realms.
It seed to confirm many ancient prophecies that, following the Mythical Era, there would be a hope to ascend to emperorship in this world.
And now, although the hope for ascension had not yet truly been realized, the golden age had erupted and was already sweeping through the Heavenly and Myriad Realms.
The most obvious sign was the revival of the Heavenly and Ten Thousand Paths. It beca clear and tangible, creating an unprecedented and heaven-defying environnt for cultivation. The nature’s spiritual energy surged mightily, and the Dao erged, far surpassing anything known before.
Accompanying this, the previous generation’s talents had successively entered the Reincarnation Realm. Born anew, they traversed the Red Dust, aspiring to achieve the True Throne. And the new generation had already rapidly risen during these years.
Whether it was the Ancient Heroes sealed in the past or the young Heavenly Pride born in this generation, they all grew rapidly within these twelve years, many already having entered the Divinity Transformation Realm for several years.
With such a favorable cultivation environnt, at the very least they were all formidable powers of Divinity Transformation Fifth Layer Heaven and above.
As for the more exceptional young kings, they were even more powerful. Their cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds, unprecedented, each progressing at miraculous speeds, nearly breaching the Saintly Treasure Realm.
Rumors had it that so had already gallantly broken through the boundaries of a Semi-Saint and stepped into the Saintly Treasure Realm, achieving an extraordinary level, becoming a Saint of that era.
Naturally, most were still limited and not everyone could beco a Saint— it was only a fraction of people after all.
A once-in-a-hundred-thousand-years struggle for the throne of the Human Emperor began, heralded as this era’s Human Emperor, with potential to seize the hope of becoming an emperor. The competition among the unmatched talents of Ten Thousand Realms had reached an intense stage.
It could be said that this was an unprecedented contest for the Human Emperor, many tis more intense than any before. Not just the talents of this era, but also the Ancient Heroes sealed in antiquity, each with a divine bearing and anomalies surrounding them, entered the fray.
Ordinary Heavenly Pride had no place here; at a minimum, it was the young heirs of Immortal Forces, those of the Void King Level, who were qualified.
Others faded into insignificance, quickly forgotten in the battle for the throne of the Human Emperor.
In this era, without Void King Level strength, one had no right to vie for the real throne of the emperor.
The struggle for the throne of Ten Thousand Realms was a fierce race where one would fall behind if not advancing.
This beca the most widely circulated saying in the Heavenly Ten Thousand Domains.
You either surpassed others, stood out, and seized extraordinary achievents, fighting for the throne of the Human Emperor, or you beca like everyone else: just a small wave in the grand era, a body left on the path of contention among kings, soon to be forgotten.
With the passage of ti, the talents of Ten Thousand Realms continued to contend. As the past generation’s talents faded away, a new generation among kings began to follow in the footsteps of Great Demon King Yue and the Ye Family’s Gucheng, and began to erge real Immortal True Kings, shining across the Heavenly and Myriad Realms.
Immortal True Kings, invincible amongst their peers, practiced each domain to its ultimate ascension, surpassed kings, and were fad throughout the Heavens.
These individuals erged from amongst the kings, beneath the True Throne, where there lay endless bones of their contemporaries, including the remains of kings, all possessing the terrifying power to slay Void Kings.
In the past, such True King talents only erged from Supre Sacred Lands, Emperor Clans, and Royal Families. Now, they have also appeared amongst the ordinary folks.
People doubted and suspected that they might belong to the sealed Ancient Heroes, mysterious in their origins, also possibly hailing from Supre Sacred Lands or born from Emperor and Royal Families, or perhaps they were the disciples of a world-superior person, now only making their appearance.
From what was known before, openly, there were only Ye Chen and Ye Gucheng; most others were only speculated to be True Kings. But now, it was mostly confird.
For instance, Nuoxius from the Angel Royal Family was one such Immortal True King talent, far more powerful than the princes of the Immortal Ancient Countries outside.
He was one who had the bloodline power of the Mythical Emperor and the Supre Emperor coursing through his veins, and the royalty of his clan never intermarried with Alien Clans, their Bloodline Power remaining pure and powerful.
Legend had it that their blood was a brilliant golden color, similar to the Combat Saint Body but carrying a divine and pure aura.
The direct lineage of the Emperor and Royal Families, even after many generations, remained strong due to the strict lineage preservation of the Angel Clan. Bloodline Power, though not comparable to the first few generations, was still trendously powerful.
This generation’s Nuoxius was an exceptional example, his Bloodline Power incredibly pure and potent, considered to be the Ancestor Bloodline, almost perfectly reviving the blood of the Angel Emperor—his Bloodline Power was not inferior to that of the second or third generation’s Supre Descendant, extrely powerful.
Demon King Huanggu, a young True King with a mysterious origin, had long been suspected to be one of the new generation’s Heavenly Pride True Kings. Over the twelve years, he truly rose and displayed world-shattering combat abilities, a na befitting his nature, a Demon King.
