"Haven’t seen Second Grandfather, is Second Grandfather not here?"

Qi Chuan looked around, on the Spirit Field, or other places on the mountain, did not see the figure of Second Grandfather as rembered.

However, when his Divine Sense swept over a certain bungalow, he sensed a familiar aura.

It was undoubtedly Second Grandfather.

In the perception, Second Grandfather should be in a deep sleep, and didn’t notice any disturbance, unaware that there was already another person on the solitary mountain.

"Let’s go in and take a look."

Qi Chuan smiled, moved his body, and walked towards the bungalow with the aura of Second Grandfather on the left.

The door of that bungalow had already been closed from inside.

Moreover, Qi Chuan’s Divine Sense could sense a Tier One Lower Grade Warning Talisman stuck behind the door.

However, this rely Tier One Lower Grade Warning Talisman naturally could not stop Qi Chuan, who was already a Foundation Establishnt Great Cultivator.

With a gentle wave of his hand, the Tier One Lower Grade Warning Talisman silently fell to the ground, without any incident happening.

Seeing this, Qi Chuan smiled slightly and gently pushed the door open to enter.

anwhile, inside the bungalow, Second Grandfather Qi Baicang was lying on the bed with a flushed face in an inappropriate position, his body reeking of alcohol. On the table beside the bed was a wine jar, almost empty, the faint scent of wine perating the room.

The aura of Qi Refining Fourth Layer was exuding from Qi Baicang’s body.

And having drunk himself to sleep, he should be sleeping quite deeply.

Yet at this mont, Qi Baicang’s brow was furrowed, his expression hiding a trace of anxiety and unrest.

"Cold... the wind... is a bit cold..."

Qi Baicang mumbled incoherently.

In his consciousness, he ventured into a dream, alone, sitting under a large tree in front of his solitary mountain’s Spirit Field.

A strong wind blew ahead, lifting his white hair, the wind cutting his face like a knife. There was a slight pain on the aged, withered face.

He squinted his cloudy eyes, looking ahead, sowhat dazed, lancholy, a touch of sadness welling up in his heart.

The emotions in his heart caused him to furrow his brows tightly under the tree.

"How could it be... how could it be... suddenly fallen just like that..."

Under the tree on the mountain top, Qi Baicang muttered in confusion.

This solitary mountain had always been just him alone.

Yet once, it wasn’t always him alone.

His junior, Ah Chuan, had once been here, accompanying him through the years, subtly changing his idling mindset, even as a cultivator, he unexpectedly gained sothing nad hope.

Just like a peak he couldn’t reach, his junior pursued it, in so sense, barely carrying a part of his will.

But in the end, it was still...

Thinking this, Qi Baicang gazed over the Spirit Field in front, not seeing any figure, a stir in his heart, he looked back, seeing a large tree that was originally a Low Tier Spirit Plant and several bungalows behind him without any figure.

Pausing for a mont, he sighed, turned back again, looking out into the void ahead.

There, the landscape was blurry, no matter how he focused, he couldn’t see clearly.

"Is this a dream?"

Seeing this, Qi Baicang smiled.

Only in dreams, no matter how you look, you can’t see the details clearly.

However, the wind cutting his face hurt a little, as in the real world, making it hard for him to discern if it was a dream or not.

Even if it’s not a dream, in reality, he seed to often sit on this mountain top, gazing into the distance, as if there was no difference.

Thinking this way, whether it was a dream or reality didn’t matter, they were all the sa anyway.

Thinking this, Qi Baicang felt his eyelids grow heavy, he seed a little sleepy, and the him beneath the tree gradually closed his eyes, appearing to nod off like this.

But gradually, it seed as if sothing unusual was happening behind him.

There was a wave of heat.

A scorching heat.

Behind him, it seed sothing was burning, like a mass of extrely hot fla rising, the back of him almost getting scorched.

His eyelids moved, Qi Baicang opened his eyes, turned around, and froze.

He saw that the tree he was leaning against was enveloped in a mass of red flas, burning, flas reaching skyward, swirling like enormous serpents of fire.

These flas were not ordinary; they were flas activated by a cultivator, the flas of a Fireball Technique.

The flas of a Fireball Technique?

Qi Baicang relying on the tree, the tree burning, as if his body was also caught in those red flas, he was shocked and barely managed to stand up.

"Second Grandfather?"

Before he could act, a familiar voice ca from the void behind him, familiar yet carrying a strange unfamiliarity, seeming with so changes from a boy’s voice to a young man’s voice.

Second Grandfather?

Who else would call him Second Grandfather?

Was it Ah Chuan?

Ah Chuan was back?

He wasn’t dead?

Upon hearing the voice, Qi Baicang’s body paused, then he suddenly turned his head vigorously, stared wide-eyed.

And then he was suddenly frightened.

He saw in the void ahead, a huge face appeared, incredibly massive, like the face of a deity or an Outer Heaven Demon manifesting, terrifying beyond compare.

Moreover, this face was very familiar to him.

If it wasn’t his junior Ah Chuan, who else could it be?

But at this mont, Qi Baicang was drenched in cold sweat, his back soaked, everyone in Red Maple Valley knew his junior Ah Chuan was already dead, how could he reappear, with a face that big?

"Damn, at the Qi Refining Fourth Layer, can I also attract an Outer Heaven Demon? My life is at risk!"

Qi Baicang’s heart cried in despair.

What frightened him more was that the face of the Outer Heaven Demon was still approaching him.

"Ah!"

Under trendous fear, Qi Baicang jerked back continuously, his cloudy eyes widening, shouting out aloud.

The entire scene before him began to shatter, the dream crumbling, as if his scream had defeated the relentless Outer Heaven Demon.

"That was close!"

In reality, Qi Baicang let out a deep sigh of relief, also crying aloud, sitting up in a jolt, waking up from the dream.

Upon waking, he continually patted his chest, cold sweat drenching his back, still with lingering fear on his face, he almost got slayed by the Outer Heaven Demon in the dream.

As he kept patting, he sensed sothing amiss, a dark shadow appeared in front of him.

His hand froze, Qi Baicang slowly looked up, then fearfully saw a face identical to the Outer Heaven Demon in the dream.

This face, also incredibly large and very familiar.

It was Ah Chuan’s.

"Did the Outer Heaven Demon chase , the Qi Refining Fourth Layer, into reality?"

Qi Baicang shuddered internally.

"What Outer Heaven Demon?"

The large face in front asked in confusion.

"It’s you, since you’ve chased into reality, it seems I can’t escape this disaster, whether to kill or to cut, just at your disposal." Qi Baicang said seriously.

"Second Grandfather, are you still not fully awake, it’s , Ah Chuan."

The large face smiled and then retreated, revealing himself as a youthful figure, still with the face of Qi Chuan.

"Aside from the face, it actually transford a body?"

Seeing this, Qi Baicang mumbled in confusion.

Seeing Second Grandfather still looking half-asleep, Qi Chuan smiled, flicked his sleeve, casting a spell of Mana upon the latter’s head.

With the Mana pouring over, Qi Baicang felt much clearer.

At this mont, he could differentiate the differences between dream and reality.

After being stunned for a mont, he was imnsely shocked, raising a finger, pointing excitedly yet with fear at Qi Chuan in front.

"Ah Chuan, you, you, you’re not dead?"

"Of course I’m not dead."

Upon hearing this, Qi Chuan smiled, extended his hand to the latter.

The latter reached out, pinching Qi Chuan’s hand.

It was warm.

Heavens!

His Foundation Establishnt Great Cultivator junior, not only didn’t die, but had also returned!
