At this mont, Qi Chuan stood outside the luxuriously decorated gate of his uncle and aunt’s house, hesitating slightly, but finally prepared to step inside.

Both husband and wife imdiately looked up and saw the adorable Qi Yung hopping inside.

Seeing his little daughter’s arrival, Qi Yue’s face finally showed a trace of a smile, as if healed by her presence.
"Sitting on the ground again? Your little bottom is all dirty..." Aunt softly scolded, noticing the dust and dirt on Qi Yung’s clothes.
The appearance of their own daughter temporarily dispelled so of the old thorns in the couple’s hearts.
Perhaps, over ti, those old thorns might completely smooth over and cease to sting, but it would probably take quite a while.
At least when their daughter wasn’t around, the couple would occasionally think of that thorn.
"Father, Mother, there’s an uncle at the gate who says he... has sothing to do so business with our family." Qi Yung recalled and spoke honestly.

"I’ll go then." Watching his little daughter leave, Qi Yue turned back to his wife and spoke softly.
"Hmm." Aunt rely nodded, taking her needlework and heading towards the inner room.
Uncle Qi Yue straightened his clothes, coughed a few tis, and then headed towards the gate.
