In that instant, he was a true prival beast. The aura he unleashed was like an electric shock to Mahmoud and Feng Junyi, who felt that the enraged Guo Wei could crush them with a single palm strike in just a few short exchanges.
Feng Junyi could even see Guo Wei’s feet beginning to take on the form of an elephant’s. His back arched like a great dragon, and his muscles bulged as if they would tear his robes to shreds.
He was like a dragon-shaped phantom, flashing past the onlookers and rushing from the Inner Courtyard to the Outer Courtyard, and then out of the Martial Arts Hall.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Chu Lingguang swept his spear again and again, his attention completely focused on the fragnts before him. He was utterly unaware that Guo Wei’s physical body had manifested its Dharma Aspect, transforming him into what looked like a hybrid of a great dragon and a Divine Image.
The crumbling courtyard walls in his path were blasted to pieces by the Qi Force erupting from his body before he even reached them.
In that mont, to save Chu Lingguang, Guo Wei held nothing back. He had long ago achieved Great Success in the Six-Layered Dharma Aspect of Skin, Flesh, Tendons, Bones, Qi, and Spirit.
His body manifested its Dharma Aspect: Dragon Soul, Elephant Body.
A single impulse moved his entire form.
Every pore of his skin seethed with terrifying power.
A single, casual punch could have pulverized Samba.
He launched himself forward at a speed so great it left no visible trail.
But even now, Guo Wei felt he wasn’t fast enough.
If Samba’s Horse-Cutting Saber had shattered on the sandy ground of the Inner Courtyard, he could have easily blocked all the fragnts for Chu Lingguang, ensuring he remained completely unhard.
Even if it had happened in the Outer Courtyard, he could have blocked the final fragnt at the critical mont to prevent Chu Lingguang from being injured.
But Samba had planned this.
He unleashed his Hidden Weapon from outside the Martial Arts Hall, under the banyan tree. Though the distance was less than a hundred ters, the projectiles flew at a speed rivaling Guo Wei’s own, and they were launched perilously close to Chu Lingguang.
Even if Guo Wei was faster than the fragnts, the difference in distance made him feel powerless to intervene in ti.
In that mont, he wished he could burn away his very essence if it ant pushing his speed beyond its limits.
He charged forward, heedless of the consequences.
He didn’t even care if it ant exposing his true strength.
Yet he still felt he wasn’t fast enough. He saw the projectiles leap past the tip of Chu Lingguang’s spear—seven fragnts in total—as they broke through the defense of his Spear Technique and shot toward Chu Lingguang’s vitals.
Chu Lingguang, caught in the eye of the storm.
His Long Spear was a blur of motion, but there were simply too many projectiles. His Spear Technique failed to hold, and seven fragnts broke through his defense.
Chu Lingguang wanted to retreat, but it was useless. He was no match for the speed of the fragnts. Despair washed over him as he watched the seven pieces that had slipped past his Spear Technique.
’At this point, even if I whip the spear back around, I’ll only be able to block two of them in ti.’
He could almost see it: the seven fragnts striking him, piercing the defense of his flesh, and blood spraying from the wounds.
Staining the world before him crimson.
’Crimson?’
Chu Lingguang froze. A thought suddenly struck him.
’When I swallowed two packets of Heart-Devouring Powder and fell unconscious, I entered a Blood-colored World. The cultivation secrets of the Flying Leaf Lotus Spear were suspended in its sky.’

It was just a single thrust.
And yet, in that instant, all seven fragnts were struck simultaneously. They shot backward, slamming into Samba’s face just as a smile began to form, each piece burying itself in his flesh.
SQUELCH!
Without losing any montum, Chu Lingguang’s thrust pierced the throat of Samba, who had dropped to his knees.
Guo Wei’s hand appeared before Chu Lingguang—blackened, like a dragon’s claw—and for a rare change, it closed on empty air.
The four words "Flying Leaf Linked Spear" appeared in his mind. Astonishnt washed over his face as he realized that Chu Lingguang had not only unlocked the second and third layers of his Dharma Aspect behind his back, but had also, without realizing it, grasped the essence of the Flying Leaf Lotus Spear and successfully mastered its first layer: "Thrust"!
