Batu Mu’s head was smashed and bleeding. His body was half-buried in the ground, his mouth gaped wide open. The light in his eyes gradually faded, his aura dissipated, and his heartbeat and all other signs of life vanished.
As an expert who had one foot in the True Martial Realm, Batu Mu had never imagined he would die at the hands of a junior at the Qi Sea Great Success stage. What’s more, this person was from the Great Yuan, and he didn’t even know Chu Lingguang’s identity.

He could only watch helplessly as he was thrown into a panic by a junior at the Qi Sea Great Success stage, forced to flee in disarray. In the end, a spear smashed into the crown of his head, and his Divine Image Small Vortex and Qi Phase Scale Armor shattered in an instant, killing him on the spot.
In that final mont, he would have rather been eaten alive by Mo Shan and his three companions than die at the hands of an unknown junior like Chu Lingguang.
Unfortunately, there was no turning back.
After smashing Batu Mu to death with his spear, Chu Lingguang scanned his surroundings. Once he confird there were no more enemies, he finally lost control and collapsed backward, lying on the ground and gasping for breath.
He hadn’t fainted or run out of strength.
He was simply savoring the taste of surviving a disaster.
While facing Batu Mu, he had been ready to retreat at any mont. But as he saw Batu Mu’s decline beco more and more obvious under the assault of his Spear Technique, he gritted his teeth and pressed the attack relentlessly.
Throughout the process, he was constantly on guard against any other trump cards Batu Mu might have.

Although they could still sense Chu Lingguang’s aura, he had just been through a major battle. They worried he might have suffered a heavy blow, so seeing him lying on the ground made all four of them anxious.

Chu Lingguang got up and ran toward the four n. He saw them leaning on each other for support, all of them wounded in several places. Their clothes were soaked in blood, both their own and their enemy’s.
It was a tragic sight.
Fortunately, they were all experts at the Qi Sea Perfection realm and could use their Inner Strength to stop the bleeding. They were all still hanging on, but even so, he had to get them back for treatnt imdiately, or their lives would be in danger.

They found Batu Mu’s body just outside the forest. Their leader cried out in grief, and his n drew their blades in unison, all of them glaring up at the group on the summit.

Zhuoyi didn’t et their gaze, instead hastily pulling Chu Lingguang and the others to retreat behind the mountain.

"Avenge the Chief!"
"Kill the people of Great Yuan!"
The n’s eyes were bloodshot with rage, and they looked ready to charge up the mountain on their horses.
"Co back!"
But their leader stopped them.
"Tulu! Don’t you want to avenge the Chief? He was your brother!"
