The white little demon beast was tilting its head slightly at the mont, showing a bewildered expression similar to that of a human.
Chu Ning recalled the voice that had just echoed in his mind, which sounded sowhat like the voice from a Sound Transmission Technique.
Imdiately, with a thought, he used the Sound Transmission Technique to ask the white little demon beast:
"Can you understand what I’m saying?"
Unfortunately, the white little beast did not react at all.
Chu Ning felt a bit puzzled, thinking that the previous words were just an illusion.
The white little beast was constantly waving its hooves, looking very anxious.
Chu Ning recalled the earlier voice again, blinked, and spoke to the white little beast once more.
But this ti, he didn’t use the Sound Transmission Technique, but instead used Telepathy.
"Can you understand what I’m saying?"
This ti, the white little beast finally stopped all other actions and let out a "ying" sound.
Greatly surprised, Chu Ning again used Telepathy to ask, "You want to let you go."
As soon as he said that, the white little beast kept nodding, making "ying ying" sounds from its mouth.
Soon after, it seed to recall sothing and looked over at Chu Ning.
"Let go!"
In the next mont, this voice sounded again in Chu Ning’s ear.
At this point, Chu Ning finally confird that this white little beast could actually communicate using Telepathy.
He was imnsely shocked.
Even though he didn’t know much about spirit beasts and demon beasts, he could tell that this white little beast was not an ordinary demon beast.
After all, from Chu Ning’s Spiritual Sense, this white little beast was only a Tier One Interdiate Demon Beast.
Under normal circumstances, beasts of this level could not possibly have such intelligence.
Chu Ning also felt that it would be a pity to directly kill such a spiritually aware little beast.
But the beast was fast, and it seed to possess divine techniques.
Even a Beast Trapping Talisman couldn’t restrict it, and it was unknown how it passed through the protective restriction to appear in the spirit field.
If he simply let it go, it might just run off in an instant.
Chu Ning used Telepathy to communicate with the white little beast again.
"If I let you go and you run away, what then?"
The white little beast kept shaking its head, continuing to wave its hooves, looking very anxious.

it seed to have just learned how to do so, being able to understand his words.
However, it didn’t seem to be able to make many sounds.
After thinking for a while, Chu Ning could only use his Spiritual Sense to say to it:
"I can let you go, but you must not run around, otherwise I will trap you again, and..."
As he spoke, Chu Ning already had a few Beast Trapping Talismans and Geng tal Sword Talismans appear in his hand.
The white little beast showed a trace of fear in its eyes at the sight of the talismans in Chu Ning’s hand.
Then, as if it had thought of sothing, it closed its eyes.
Soon after, Chu Ning saw a faint white ring of light appear on the forehead of the white little beast.
At the sa ti, the weak voice of the white little beast sounded in his ear.
"Blood!"
Chu Ning hesitated slightly, understanding what the white little beast ant at that mont.
It was asking him to drip blood within that white ring of light.
As a transmigrator, Chu Ning sowhat understood why it wanted him to do so.
It seed similar to establishing a contract relationship.

He wasn’t very knowledgeable about spirit beasts and demon beasts, and he wasn’t sure if signing a contract like this would have any effect on him.
After all, he knew that signing contracts with high-level spirit beasts and demon beasts required certain conditions.
Even if a cultivator signed a contract with a high-level spirit beast, the cultivator would also suffer so harm if the spirit beast died.
And this little beast was clearly not ordinary.

Thinking for a mont, Chu Ning took out a Rejuvenation Talisman.
The white little beast’s eyes flashed, seemingly showing so timidity.
Chu Ning then used Telepathy to communicate:
"Don’t be afraid, this is a healing technique to help you recover."
Upon hearing that, the white little beast raised its head to glance at Chu Ning, then nodded, showing a look of trust.
Chu Ning smiled again, activated the Rejuvenation Talisman, and a healing technique fell onto the white little beast.
The wounds on the white little beast disappeared, and it spun around joyfully on the spot.
"Ying!"
It cheered towards Chu Ning again in a cheerful voice.
"This little beast is quite interesting."
Chu Ning felt rather moved at the mont.
After entering Cyan Creek Sect, Chu Ning had always been cautious and tense.
But after communicating with this little beast, he felt much more relaxed and cheerful.
However, looking at the pit-riddled spirit field beside him, he couldn’t help but glance at the little beast.
"Look at what you’ve done, ruining my spirit field."
