After returning to the Cyan Yuan Sect, Yang Chan quickly grew accustod to the pace of life there. Since he hadn’t needed to work at the Pharmacy for the past few days, he had much more free ti.
Although he had more ti, Yang Chan didn’t waste a mont of it, dedicating himself to his Martial Arts Cultivation and studying the Pharmacopoeia.
He also no longer had to stay up late.
Back in Tan City, things had been fine at first. But as the number of injured disciples grew, he found himself needing to treat them at night. He didn’t have to stay up until dawn, but the work kept his mind constantly on edge.
That was why he had taken a nap during the day after he got back; only then did he finally feel sowhat restored.
Right now, however, Yang Chan’s gaze was fixed on the panel, waiting for his Potential Points to update.
With the new 2.7 Potential Points, plus the 0.4 he had left over, he would have three points to spend.
After spending these three points, he could not only finish Tempering every bone in his body to reach the Iron Bone Realm, but also advance his Martial Seal to Tier Three.
All of this ant his External Iron Bone Refining had reached the Perfection Realm—or at least, what most people considered Perfection.
Although Yang Chan knew he could continue to cultivate it even further, this was still a mont he had long been looking forward to.
"It’s ti."
’Deep Blue, allocate the points!’
Yang Chan said with a smile, watching the changes on his panel.
The Potential Points on the panel instantly dropped to 0.1, and his body began to undergo a massive change.
Crisp cracks echoed from within as every bone in his body began to resonate. At the sa ti, the Steel Rebar within him started to move in a seemingly rhythmic pattern.
The sound was incredibly crisp, and a look of delight spread across Yang Chan’s face.
He had reached the state where his bones and sinews rang in unison. This signified that he had achieved External Refining of Iron Bone Perfection.
There was a saying in the Cyan Yuan Sect: a thousand pieces of gold cannot buy a single ring.
One could reach Perfection in External Refining without ever making their bones and sinews ring, but anyone who *could* achieve that resonance had undoubtedly Tempered their body to true Perfection, building an exceptionally solid foundation.
As far as Yang Chan knew, not even the Young Sect Leader of the Cyan Yuan Sect, Liu Shengyu, had managed to make his bones and sinews ring. He was certain of this because if the Young Sect Leader had accomplished such a feat, it would have been widely publicized to solidify his position.
And now, he had succeeded. It was an extrely rare feat within the Cyan Yuan Sect.
’Good thing I locked everything up and ca to the secret chamber to break through before allocating the points. I don’t have to worry about anyone discovering this.’
Although Yang Chan hadn’t been sure if he would achieve the ringing of bones and sinews, he had made preparations beforehand just in case.
He had dug the secret chamber inside his house himself, feeling it was wise to have so precautions in place to prevent a sneak attack.
Yang Chan looked at his panel. The changes were specific: his Tiger Demon Bone-Refining Fist had advanced to Tier Four Masterful, and his Tiger Demon Martial Seal had reached Tier Three Mastery.
However, he could clearly feel the improvents to attributes not displayed on the panel, such as his Spiritual Power. His mind felt exceptionally clear.
Nine Oxen and Two Tigers.
Yang Chan stood up and unleashed his Martial Seals, attempting to combine his Ox Demon Martial Seal and Tiger Demon Martial Seal.
He had attempted this before, but it had always been a combination of nine oxen and one tiger. Now that he had achieved External Refining of Iron Bone Perfection and his Tiger Demon Martial Seal was at Tier Three Mastery, he could finally perform the full technique.
From Yang Chan’s body flew nine Demon Bulls, followed by two pouncing Demon Tigers. He had been unable to do this before, as his Spiritual Power had been insufficient.
After appearing, the two Demon Tigers rged with the nine Demon Bulls. The process was exceptionally smooth, far faster than Yang Chan had anticipated.
After all, he had failed multiple tis when first trying to rge the nine oxen and one tiger. To succeed on the very first try now was beyond his expectations.
He had been prepared to spend a significant amount of ti on this step, so this saved him a great deal of trouble.
Then, Yang Chan directed the fused Nine Oxen and Two Tigers Martial Seal to rge with his physical body. Instantly, his fra grew taller and larger.
The transformation was sowhat like the Hulk’s, though not nearly as extre. He grew by at least a foot—about thirty centiters—instantly becoming a brawny giant standing well over two ters tall.
His body was now rippling with muscle, but these external changes were nothing. What was truly terrifying was his current strength; he felt he could blast a huge hole in the ground with a single punch.
An External Refining Iron Bone Expert who tried to take one of his punches now would be sent flying right through a wall. He could feel imnse power coursing through his entire body.
This power made him feel as if he could fight an Inner Master, but Yang Chan knew that was just an illusion.
After all, the mory of that Servant Disciple’s courtyard in Tan City was still vivid in his mind.
He was still incapable of unleashing that kind of destructive force.
Furthermore, his speed and agility had also improved. The empowernt from the Nine Oxen and Two Tigers Martial Seal was truly a comprehensive enhancent. While he couldn’t maintain this state indefinitely, he could hold it for at least the ti it takes for a stick of incense to burn.
And during that ti, his Combat Power beca imnse.
In the end, Yang Chan chose not to test his strength by punching the ground. There was no need, and it might expose his power, which would be a bad idea.
A Martial Seal’s empowernt was linked to one’s Spiritual Power, as was the duration it could be maintained. The stronger the Spiritual Power, the longer it would last.
To increase his Spiritual Power, he needed to continue his Visualization of Martial Seals and Visualization Images.
Even after reaching Tier Three, his Ox Demon Martial Seal and Tiger Demon Martial Seal could be improved further. This ant that so people could continue to increase their strength even without breaking through to the rank of Inner Master.
The most obvious benefit of improving a Martial Seal was extending the duration of its empowernt.
Yang Chan dispersed the Nine Oxen and Two Tigers Martial Seal. ’This powerful ability gives another way to protect myself,’ he thought, ’but it’s not enough. I want more.’
As it stood, Yang Chan was now the youngest disciple in the Cyan Yuan Sect to have achieved External Refining of Iron Bone Perfection. Though no one knew, he was quite satisfied with this fact.
’My next small goal is to beco the Cyan Yuan Sect’s youngest Inner Master. I’ll break every single one of the Sect’s records and beco the true record-holder.’
’It’s a bit of a sha that no one will know, but for my own safety, I couldn’t care less about fa.’
After all, as the saying goes: a man fears fa as a pig fears growing fat. If he beca famous, trouble would surely follow, and that was the last thing he wanted.
’It’s better to stay low-key. I’ll take the tangible benefits and let others have the empty fa.’
Look at the Young Sect Leader, Liu Shengyu. Burdened by his reputation as a genius, he constantly faced challenges from all kinds of experts—so from within Qing State, others from different territories. It was endless trouble.
As for that, all Yang Chan could do was tell him to hang in there. He’d be cheering for him from the sidelines.
’What does the title of "genius" have to do with ? I’m just a Genius Pharmacist in the Cyan Yuan Sect, nothing more.’
