Soone had naturally reported the situation to him. After receiving the news, he had co to the Cyan Flower Courtyard. When he arrived, Hua Yongnian hadn’t yet let Gao Yuanlong and the others into the living room; he was still outside, tending to his Spirit dicines.
Seeing this, he knew he didn’t need to intervene. He had been watching Elder Hua’s every move from the shadows—first reasoning with them, then ntioning the Sect’s developnt, and finally ending with words of encouragent. Even he was moved, which just went to show how formidable Hua Yongnian was.
He had seen such tactics before and had even used them himself. It was a common thod for those in authority. However, to still be affected by it even when you know what it is—that was the truly impressive and masterful part.
"This ti was an accident. I hope it doesn’t happen again. Next ti sothing like this cos up, you should be the one to placate them first. Don’t make an old man like handle these things. I no longer have the energy."
Hua Yongnian looked at Gu An and spoke slowly after taking a sip of his tea.
