Xu Gaocen, on the other hand, was an Interdiate Pharmacist, but not a mber of the Pharmacist Alliance. Usually, only figures at the Advanced Pharmacist level from other Sects joined the Alliance, and they would only receive an honorary title, which didn’t count as true mbership.
It was similar to being an Honored Guest Elder, but the title of Honorary Elder held more prestige and had stricter requirents.
Although Xu Gaocen wasn’t a mber of the Pharmacist Alliance, his status as an Interdiate Pharmacist was roughly equivalent to, if not slightly higher than, a Pharmacist Alliance Steward like Ding Tong. Therefore, Xu Gaocen took the initiative to go and speak with him.
Ding Tong led the group to an empty counter and took out a registration book. It was the roster for the mbers participating in the Pharmacist Exchange Conference. The book in his hand was just one volu; they would all be consolidated into a single master roster later.
This book recorded the Advanced Pharmacists from the major Sects, as well as other outstanding Pharmacists. It served as a kind of information ledger.
A Sect’s power was inextricably linked to its Pharmacists. The more Advanced Pharmacists a Sect possessed, the greater its chances of producing powerful experts.
With such an abundance of Cultivation Resources, they could naturally nurture even more powerful cultivators.
So people had decent Talent but were held back by a shortage of Cultivation Resources. If such individuals were given sufficient resources, their Cultivation could advance. One person’s perspective is always limited. By interacting with more people, hearing different ideas, and exchanging knowledge, a Pharmacist could gain new insights and improve their Pharmacist Abilities.
The benefits were clear. If a Sect, in an attempt to hide its true strength, prevented a specially nurtured mber from participating in the Pharmacist Exchange Conference, that mber would likely miss out on a crucial opportunity for advancent.
Thus, it was a blatant stratagem that most Sects had no choice but to fall into, as the benefits were simply too obvious to ignore.
Yang Chan watched the registration process from the side, remaining silent. He simply observed quietly, keeping his thoughts to himself.
He planned to keep a low profile and do his best to avoid drawing attention.
He wasn’t too concerned about being recorded in the roster. After all, he was just here to gain so experience—an ordinary, unremarkable face in the crowd.
’Aside from my handso and fair face, which might earn a second glance, there shouldn’t be any trouble as long as I lay low,’ he thought.
Suddenly, a commotion from the main entrance of the Pharmacist Alliance caught Yang Chan’s attention, and he looked over.

And based on their conversation, since Princess Lan Yue was so exceptional, she would most likely be the one to take a husband.
