The man in black, steadily being forced back by Ji Feng, roared in fury when he saw Yang Chan making his escape.
If not for that sneak attack, he wouldn’t be in this state. The timing had been too perfect. He hadn’t been able to dodge it at all. Otherwise, things would never have gotten this bad.
He felt as if his Five Viscera and Six Viscera were on fire. The potent Poison flared up, making him extrely uncomfortable. Even with his Tempering at the Second Lungs and Spleen, he couldn’t expel the toxins while in the middle of a fight.

Ji Feng could see his opponent was about to lose consciousness. He sent a powerful fist strike straight at the man’s head. The impact cracked the man’s skull open, spattering Ji Feng’s fist with blood.
After killing his opponent, Ji Feng imdiately went to support Yan Jinfeng. He’d seen Yan Jinfeng take the Elixir, and knew that kind of power boost wouldn’t last long. They had to kill Yan Jinfeng’s opponent first to completely stabilize the battle.
It was two against one, and their opponent’s Cultivation was weaker than Ji Feng’s. It was an easy fight. Before long, caught in their combined assault, this man in black also breathed his last.
Afterward, Ji Feng and Yan Jinfeng joined the main battlefield to clear out the remaining n in black. These last few were only at the External Refining realm, so having just grasped Power. Against the two masters, the battle ended swiftly.

Soon, they saw Qi Yuansheng clashing with a master who had reached the Fourth Lungs and Spleen of Inner Refining. Qi Yuansheng had the upper hand, but he was still unable to finish his opponent.
Seeing this, Ji Feng imdiately joined the fight. He knew how tenacious these n in black were; the best course of action was to surround and kill them.
No matter how well his opponent used softness to overco hardness, it was useless in the face of overwhelming, multi-directional force.
anwhile, Yang Chan had stopped fleeing. He was now with Xu Gaocen, positioned in the middle of the Cyan Yuan Sect Disciples, one of the people being protected.
Next to him was Cai Kun, an Elite Disciple.

Yang Chan’s gaze, however, was fixed on the clash up ahead. This was a battle between a master at the Peak of Inner Refining of the Lungs and Spleens and another who was close to it. The power they wielded was even greater than what he’d seen in the fight between Ji Feng and the man in black.
Qi Yuansheng, the Hall Master of the Artifact Refining Hall, was especially formidable. He was already at the Peak of Inner Refining of the Lungs and Spleens, and his Martial Seal was a fusion of the Tiger Capturing and Flood Dragon Catching seals. The Combat Power he could unleash was imnse.
This type of Martial Seal was sowhat similar to the Nine Oxen and Two Tigers Martial Seal that Yang Chan had used before. It also combined two powerful Martial Seals, allowing it to unleash even greater Combat Power.
Every one of Qi Yuansheng’s strikes made the ground tremble. And this was inside White Jade City, where the ground was reinforced by a special Magic Array, not just soft earth. It was a testant to the Combat Power of both fighters.
