These included the Lantian Jade Refining Pill, Void Spirit Pill, Ganoderma Pill, and Jade Pill.
The refining thods for the Ganoderma Pill and Jade Pill were similar to that of the Void Spirit Pill, making them not very difficult to create. Their effects were rather ordinary, however, both serving to Strengthen the Foundation and Nourish the Essence, as well as cultivate Essence Qi. Each type provided him with 0.1 Potential Points. Thus, even while traveling, he could still manage a daily gain of over 1.0 point when combined with food and dicinal broths. While it couldn’t compare to his rate within the Cyan Yuan Sect, it was still a decent harvest.

Yang Chan planned to prepare more poisons for his trip down the mountain. There was one poison in particular that he was debating whether to bring.
This was Qianji Yin. As its na implied, it appeared to be an ordinary substance, but when activated by a special dicinal catalyst, it would transform into a deadly poison. This dicine was perfect for secretly poisoning soone, then staging the scene to make their death look sudden and unexpected.
The recipe for Qianji Yin was one of several poison formulas Yang Chan had obtained when he advanced to Tier Two Pharmacist. The cost to concoct it was even higher than Five Poison Powder, and the preparation thod was more complex. Moreover, the poison had to be activated within a certain ti fra, or else the prepared substance would beco completely non-toxic.
The last ti he left the mountain, he’d felt this poison wasn’t of much use to him. He needed a poison that killed on contact, one that could eliminate enemies instantly.
Now, however, he was considering bringing it along. If he ran into soone it was inconvenient to kill openly, he could use Qianji Yin to take care of them, resolving a lot of unnecessary trouble.
After a mont’s thought, Yang Chan decided to prepare so. It was better to be safe than sorry. If he didn’t have to use it, all the better, as that would an he hadn’t run into much trouble.
He was doing this because the situation in Tan City was expected to be even more complex than what he had faced in Taiyu City. His only option was to be as prepared as possible.
With the fruits of his labor in hand, Yang Chan left the Earth Fire Institute.
The temperature inside the Earth Fire Institute was too high, especially on the second basent level. Even with his current Cultivation, he couldn’t ignore the intense heat, and he disliked spending long periods in such a place.
After changing his clothes, Yang Chan began to sort the Lantian Jade Refining Pills. A portion would go to the Sect in exchange for necessary dicinal ingredients, while another portion was for sale. He already had buyers with standing orders.
After he sold Lantian Jade Refining Pills on Cyan Fish Street last ti, people had proactively sought him out to buy them. Part of this was for his deal with the Han Family, and the rest was for his own consumption.
Their various uses had long been planned.

Han Bingyu handed the intelligence from the Han Family and the information she had gathered to Yang Chan. She now understood why Yang Chan wanted this information.
She, too, had received the mission to leave the mountain for Tan City. As a Pharmacist’s Assistant, she naturally had to go along, just as Yang Chan had in the past. When Xu Gaocen had volunteered for the mission to Taiyu City, Yang Chan, as his assistant at the ti, had been required to accompany him.
The difference, however, was that he had been a Pharmacist’s Assistant for a while before that happened, whereas Han Bingyu had to go after only a few days in the position. Of course, this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. After all, participating in the conflict at Tan City as a Pharmacist’s Assistant was much better than going as an Official Disciple.
A support role in the rear was safer, after all.
"The Han Family has agreed to my terms."
Yang Chan accepted the intelligence but didn’t open it imdiately. Instead, he brought up their collaboration.
There was virtually no chance the other party would refuse such a collaboration. The cost for both sides was not high, so it could only be considered a shallow partnership, with both sides getting what they needed.
"The Patriarch has agreed. Pharmacist Yang, you can give the list of materials you need directly. The Han Family will gather them. As long as there are no exceptionally rare materials, they can generally be delivered to you within five days."
The Han Family had its own trade routes, including ones near the Cyan Yuan Sect. They were also suppliers of various goods to the Cyan Yuan Sect, so they were quite confident in their delivery speed.

Yang Chan took out a prepared dicine Bottle containing eight Lantian Jade Refining Pills. He planned to use the Han Family to acquire so of the ingredients for Qianji Yin. This would also serve to muddy the waters, preventing people from figuring out his true intentions.
Although Qianji Yin wasn’t recorded in the dicine Scripture, it was inevitable that so people would know about it. Purchasing the ingredients from different sources would lower the risk of his plans being discovered.
He might not necessarily use Qianji Yin on enemies, so it was worth putting in the extra effort to be cautious.

Yang Chan’s attitude was firm. Although he had looked into Han Bingyu, you could never be too sure. Finalizing the deal here and now would prevent any potential trouble down the line.
