Mu Yu Xin sighed to herself. She rose from the crowd, walked before Ling Changqing, and gave a slight curtsy, speaking in a soft voice.

"Mu Yu Xin, Honored Guest Elder of the family, greets Young Master Ling."

"So you’re the treasured daughter of the Mu Family?"

Ling Changqing looked slightly taken aback, feeling rather surprised.

The Ling Family’s spies and informants weren’t just for show. They had naturally gathered detailed intelligence on the upper echelons of the Mu Family, and Mu Yu Xin was among those profiled.

A trace of bitterness tinged Mu Yu Xin’s smile. "The Mu Family is now a thing of the past. I am nothing more than a stray dog that has lost its ho."

"Fortunately, the Patriarch is magnanimous and no longer concerns herself with my origins or my past. From this day forward, I am simply an Honored Guest Elder of the Ling Family!"

"..."

Ling Changqing was lost in thought. ’Since Ling Qiyue already knows her true identity and has chosen to let bygones be bygones, she must have her reasons.’

’Besides, the Ling Family and her forr family don’t have any irreconcilable grudges, so there’s no need to worry about her loyalty.’

’Even if she were disloyal, what kind of trouble could a re Foundation Establishnt cultivator possibly cause?’

"Forget it. I was just asking casually,"

Ling Changqing said. "Since you’re willing to serve the family, then we’ll leave it at that. The Feng Family shouldn’t notice your existence."

"Thank you for your magnanimity, Young Master Ling."

Mu Yu Xin breathed a sigh of relief, her gaze lowered deferentially.

She understood the status this handso, purple-robed young man held in the Patriarch’s heart. If he insisted on making an issue of her past, even Ling Qiyue would likely indulge him.

Ling Changqing smiled and exchanged a few more words with Ling Haihua before leading his group aboard the Flying Ship and departing.

Outside, the wind, rain, and thunder intensified. Tumultuous black clouds blotted out the sun. The Flying Ship, enveloped in a halo of Spiritual Light, flew just beneath the cloud layer and soon vanished over the horizon.

Once the Flying Ship left the airspace of the Changqing Continent, the weather cleared instantly. The high Celestial Vault was a pristine, cloudless blue, and the day beca calm and sunny.

"Finally, we can rest for a bit!"

Ling Bingyun, who was beside him, couldn’t help but exclaim. After spending so long on the gloomy, perpetually dark Changqing Continent, one’s mood inevitably grew heavy and oppressed. Only by returning to a normal environnt could she feel like herself again.

"...Senior Brother, could you co visit tomorrow?"

The charmingly innocent and pure Ling Xueyu, gentle and radiant, leaned in, her lovely face blushing as she spoke.

"You took such good care of during our training expedition, so my mother wants to host a banquet for you!"

Ling Changqing paused to think. Her mother was Ling Yuzhu, that reserved, quiet beauty in red who had seed quite enthusiastic about him when they first t.

"I probably won’t have ti tomorrow. Let’s do it another day,"

Ling Changqing said. He knew he had to spend the first few days back ho with Tang Qiu Yao and Ling Qiyue; invitations from others would have to wait.

"Oh, then how long will I have to wait?"

Ling Xueyu looked crestfallen, a flicker of disappointnt in her beautiful eyes.

’If I can’t get a chance to be alone with him, how will I ever get closer to him?’

"How about in ten days? I won’t go back on my word."

As Ling Changqing spoke, the expression on Ling Bingyun’s lovely face shifted slightly.

"Then it’s settled! I’ll tell my mother to get everything ready."

Ling Xueyu’s spirits lifted, and the light returned to her eyes.

Ling Bingyun shot her a look, then stepped forward to link arms with Ling Changqing. With a dazzling smile, she said:

"Young Master Ling, why don’t you visit my ho in half a month? My mother has been thinking of you ever since we last parted!"

Ling Changqing was taken aback for a mont, then nodded in agreent.

’The two of them are secretly competing,’ Ling Changqing thought. ’They’re both after the sa thing, so neither is in a position to judge the other.’

「Several hours later」

The Flying Ship slowly descended before the plaza of the Clan Assembly Hall.

"Everyone is dismissed. I’m going to report to the Patriarch," Ling Changqing announced. At this point, only the team leader was required to report back on the mission’s details; the other family disciples were free to go.

"Alright then. Senior Brother, don’t you forget our appointnt in ten days!"

Ling Xueyu said, her lovely face flushed and her voice full of reluctance.

Ling Bingyun was more direct. "I’ll co and get you when the ti cos. Don’t you dare make my mother and wait for nothing!"

Ling Changqing placated the two won with a few kind words, then passed through the ranks of heavily ard guards and entered the Clan Assembly Hall.

The hall was silent. Neither Ling Qiyue nor Tang Qiu Yao was there.

Ling Changqing wasn’t disappointed. He imdiately changed course and headed for the Won’s Embroidery Tower in the rear courtyard. ’They must be there,’ he thought.

「Inside the bedchamber」

Before a spotless, floor-to-ceiling dressing mirror, two voluptuous and enchanting beauties with graceful figures were changing their clothes. Their soft, charming voices, as sweet as the warbling of orioles, echoed through the room.

Seen from behind, the curves of their bodies were breathtaking, both equally sinful, sizzling, and seductive. The thin silk ribbons of their bodices were wrapped around their lovely necks and tied in a delicate knot.

Their backs were full and smooth, their snow-white skin like fine jade. Below that were sleek, firm waists, and below that, two full, round moons that seed to light up the entire room.

Further down still were astonishingly long, shapely, and straight legs. Their skin was a dazzling snow-white, every curve flawless and perfect.

"...Senior Sister, why don’t you try on this outfit?"

Tang Qiu Yao’s velvety, seductive voice purred.

Ling Qiyue’s fine brows knitted together as she looked at the transparent, silk-embroidered bodice Tang Qiu Yao handed her. It had two decorative, embroidered holes cut out over the breasts, leaving almost nothing to the imagination.

Of course, that wasn’t even the most scandalous part. The pair of sheer silk stockings she produced next were also white and transparent, with a large opening cut out of the crotch.

"...You shaless hussy, you’re truly sothing else. How can you even show sothing so scandalous?"

Ling Qiyue’s voice was a mix of sha and indignation. ’You might as well wear nothing at all! You can see everything in this!’

"What’s there to be embarrassed about?"

Tang Qiu Yao was all smiles. "Our Little Junior Brother likes it! He’s the one who brought these to . I was a little shy at first, too, but I got used to it over ti."

"You should try it; it feels quite nice! When Little Junior Brother sees you dressed like this, he won’t be able to control himself!"

"No... It’s too humiliating! I wouldn’t be caught dead in that!"

Ling Qiyue protested, her beautiful face beet-red.

’I’m an unmarried maiden, and I’m supposed to wear these ridiculous, indecent things to seduce Little Junior Brother? If anyone found out, I’d be too ashad to show my face in public!’

"Oh, co on. Sooner or later, you’re going to be doing Dual Cultivation with Little Junior Brother. If he asks you to wear it then... you can’t possibly disappoint him, can you?"

Tang Qiu Yao said with a sly smile. She gently untied her own bodice, then slipped into the daringly bold ensemble, followed by the thigh-high stockings.

"So? How do I look?"

After examining herself in the mirror from all angles and making a few minor adjustnts, Tang Qiu Yao nodded in satisfaction.

Ling Qiyue’s fair, beautiful face was flushed crimson. She stole a glance, studying the devastatingly hot and seductive outfit on the peerless beauty, and felt her heart race with a shock she couldn’t put into words.

’Could it be... when Little Junior Brother is with this hussy, this is how she pleases him? It’s just too shaless.’

’No wonder he’s so obsessed with her. With seductive tricks like these, what normal man could possibly resist?’

"Here, Senior Sister, how about you try this?"

Tang Qiu Yao took a pair of red, teacup-lid-shaped objects, each about half the size of her palm, from her Storage Pouch and handed them to Ling Qiyue.

"And what are these?"

Ling Qiyue asked, an instinct telling her this was trouble.

They were exquisitely crafted and adorned with tiny beaded chains that, when shaken, emitted a crisp, enchanting chi.

"These are Blood Drops. Here, let demonstrate for you!"

Tang Qiu Yao laughed, picked up one of the "teacup lids," and gently placed it on the very peak of one of Ling Qiyue’s majestic, cloud-piercing snow mountains.

"?!"

Ling Qiyue’s beautiful eyes flew wide in disbelief. Then, as if shocked by lightning, she snatched the Blood Drop away, so mortified she wanted to find a hole to crawl into.

"You hussy, how could you do that?! It’s just... it’s just too... shaless and absurd!"

Ling Qiyue was so ashad and furious she nearly tackled Tang Qiu Yao to give her a sound beating.

"Don’t be shy! This is a true boudoir secret, an essential technique from the sacred texts of Dual Cultivation. It’s the surest way to capture a man’s heart!"

Tang Qiu Yao’s lovely eyes narrowed as she patiently cajoled, "If you want Little Junior Brother to be forever captivated by you, these techniques are essential. Even if you’re too shy to use them, you can bet other fox spirits will, won’t they?"

"..."

Ling Qiyue’s expression shifted. She frowned, lost in silent contemplation.

At that very mont, Ling Changqing, who was hiding outside and watching the whole exchange, felt his spirits soar and his blood boil with excitent.
