Lu Armor said, slightly angered, "We are Golden Core Masters, after all. Why can’t we propose such terms?"
Just as Ling Qiyue was about to speak, her expression suddenly changed.
At so unknown point, the spectral form of a War Beast, over ten zhang long and resembling a platypus, had snuck up beside her, only to be stopped by the Fenghuo Panyun Bell’s defensive light screen.
Not far away, Yun Wushuang, who was attacking the Protective Array, sighed with regret.
Her Early Stage Third Rank War Beast was as strong as a Golden Core Master and was the couple’s most intimidating trump card.
In the past, they had relied on its surprise attacks to turn the tables in many desperate situations. They had heavily injured, and even killed, powerful opponents this way.
However, this ti, their tried-and-true thod had utterly failed against Ling Qiyue.
"I knew you two scoundrels were up to no good!"
Ling Qiyue gave a cold snort. With a flicker of light and shadow, two Combat Puppets appeared. Each stood about a zhang tall, clad in Heavy Armor and carrying a Giant Shield, and a terrifying pressure washed out from them.
The next mont, these two Third Grade Daoist Soldier Puppets brandished their Heavy Swords and advanced, working together to hold back the frantically attacking War Beast.
Though the War Beast was formidable, it was ultimately a creature of flesh and blood. How could its Defense possibly compare to the incredibly durable Daoist Soldier Puppets?
Moreover, from the very beginning, the two Daoist Soldier Puppets attacked more than they defended, willing to take damage to their own bodies just to inflict a few more wounds on the War Beast.

As Ling Qiyue’s icy voice rang out, another two imposing Combat Puppets appeared and surrounded the War Beast.
Imdiately after, Ling Qiyue single-handedly blocked Lu Armor, unleashing a barrage of high-powered Divine Techniques as if they cost nothing, giving him no chance to rescue it.
’She had already made up her mind. Even if it ant losing one or two Puppets, she was going to take down this War Beast today.’
’As for Lu Armor himself, it would be best to take him down right here and now. But if not, she would at least make sure he left wounded.’
In just a dozen breaths’ ti, the War Beast was screaming miserably. The wounds on its body multiplied, and even its tail and one of its claws were chopped off. Its aura rapidly weakened.

Ling Qiyue sneered. ’At least one of this wretched pair is going to die here today. No one can save them.’
At this point, Yun Wushuang could no longer be bothered with attacking the Grand Array. She frantically assailed Ling Qiyue with her two Flying Swords.
Seeing this, the nine Pseudo Core masters also abandoned the Grand Array to co and help.
Thus, a situation ford where eleven Cultivators joined forces to besiege Ling Qiyue. Fortunately, she had enough Magical Treasures on her that she was in no imdiate danger.
