The reason was simple: she was just too beautiful. As for the Tang Family, their losses were also substantial, as were those of the other outside powers involved. It’s said that even several Divinity Transformation Cultivators perished.
The chaotic battle raged through the night. The more they fought, the hotter tempers flared, and the body count climbed. The situation was spiraling out of control.
In the end, it took the forceful intervention of several of this world’s top Great Powers to barely quell the conflict.
This matter is far from over, however. The various factions won’t give up their designs on Ling Changqing so easily.
