aside from the thousand-so Spirit Stones, there wasn’t much else in the Storage Bags.

Old Ghost Song and the one-eyed, bald man had likely just exchanged their gains for things they needed and had already used them up.

other than the thousand-plus Spirit Stones in "cash," the rest of the haul was hardly to Shen Changchuan’s satisfaction.
For example, in the one-eyed, bald man’s Storage Bag, besides the Spirit Stones, the bulk of the contents consisted of about thirty Essence Pills and a dozen or so ordinary Qi Introduction Pills.
However, the Essence Pill was a Low Level Elixir made from the refined essence of Spirit Grain, typically used for Cultivation below the Qi Introduction Third Layer Realm.
And because it was the refined essence of Spirit Grain, mortals could also consu it. If an Innate Realm Martial Artist were to take it, they would have a high probability of achieving Qi Introduction Success and becoming a Cultivator.
This was also why Han Qinhu and Han Dayong had been able to quickly advance and beco Cultivators after taking the Essence Pill.
As a proper Elixir, its price wasn’t cheap, costing at least ten Spirit Stones per pill, aning it was worth no less than one hundred catties of Spirit Grain.

Among them, the words "Soul-Attracting Bell" appeared, circled in red ink.

Shen Changchuan speculated silently.
Perhaps his theory was off in so ways,

Otherwise, it was hard to explain why both the one-eyed man’s and Old Ghost Song’s Storage Bags were so empty.

Unfortunately, it didn’t suit his style.
It looked like he would either have to reward it to one of his subordinates in the future,
or sell it.
