Chen Tang rushed into the thick smoke and after only a few steps, he saw Luo Sha, her face drained of color in fear, groping around helplessly and calling out.
Her whole body was smoked gray by the thick smoke, her long hair curled from the heat, and her arms and abdon were injured, seeping with bright red blood.
Chen Tang ca to her side, wrapped his left arm around Luo Sha’s slender waist, and with a gentle pull, lifted her whole body.

Luo Sha thought for a mont and said, "I rember it was behind the Mahayana Buddha Palace, across a sky bridge over a canyon, on another peak. But there’s smoke everywhere, I can’t see the way."
"Just rember the approximate location."
Following Luo Sha’s words, Chen Tang ran towards the back of the Mahayana Buddha Palace.
Once he reached the rear hall of the Mahayana Buddha Palace, his surroundings beca much quieter.
Following Luo Sha’s instructions, Chen Tang fumbled his way and quickly found the sky bridge spanning over the canyon.
Chen Tang crossed over, and soon saw a magnificent palace.
The monks guarding near the palace had already fled, leaving the surroundings empty.
As Chen Tang walked into the palace, he felt a sense of oppression.
Around the entrance of the palace stood five tall and majestic Guardian Stone Statues, about five zhang high, each in a different pose, overlooking Chen Tang and Luo Sha as they walked in.
These Guardian Stone Statues did not possess any aura of solemnity, peace, or harmony; instead, they exuded a hint of evil, each glaring and baring its teeth, as if ready to devour Chen Tang and Luo Sha whole!
One had three faces and six arms, with a fierce and imposing deanor, possessing nine heads, each crowned with skulls.
One had eyes wide open, with pupils almost popping out, glittering with golden light, dazzling to behold.
One had four heads and three eyes, with a blue body, wearing a jeweled crown.
Another had a red body, eight heads, standing on a lotus throne.
There was also a male-female dual body, entangled in a special posture, indistinguishable from one another, with expressions of joy.
"These are the five major Dharma Protector Vajras of the Esoteric Sect."
Luo Sha whispered softly.
These Dharma Protector Vajras, so with three heads and six arms, others with up to twenty or thirty arms, each holding different Dharma artifacts such as Vajra Pestle, Lotus, Treasure Sword, Bow and Arrow made of human bone.
If it were an ordinary person, suddenly seeing such terrifying statues would indeed be greatly shocked, unable to resist the urge to pay homage.
Chen Tang’s gaze swept over the five Dharma Protector Vajras, and suddenly his heart moved, pausing at one Vajra’s face.

When he looked up again, his expression changed!
The face of the Maitreya Buddha statue turned out to be that of Monk Fa Qing, full of smiles yet carrying an eerie undertone, sending chills down one’s spine!
This Monk Fa Qing actually mounted his own head onto the Maitreya Buddha statue!

Chen Tang snorted coldly, executed the Gecko Wall-Climbing Technique, and within a few breaths, reached the statue’s shoulder.
Chen Tang aid at the statue’s neck, utilized his Qi and Blood, and wielded his long knife, slashing down hard!

This statue was imnsely hard, the long knife acquired from Qiuzi Country broke into two halves.
However, the cut also carved a huge notch into the statue’s neck, with shattered stones scattering everywhere.

A crisp sound echoed, and the stone head of Monk Fa Qing fell from the air, crashing heavily onto the ground.
