As soon as his words dropped, the heavens trembled.
A suffocating aura of death, fury, and destruction swept through the air, chilling even the mighty hearts of the three Deity Transformation Stage corrupted beings. It was as if they had been thrust into a never-ending inferno.
Chen Xun rose slowly into the sky, the air vibrating violently around him. From his divine soul, five ethereal figures erged, their gazes cold and foreboding, their hair flowing like black rivers as they stood motionless. Fingers raised in a solemn posture before their chests, they exuded an unshakable stillness.
The deathly energy from the third Mountain Splitting Axe roared, twisting into them like serpents. Darkness rolled in thick waves, heavy and oppressive, like the world itself was smothering under an eternal, silent funeral.
At that mont, the heavens darkened. The earth moaned.
Chen Xun's life force visibly waned as he poured everything into resisting the corrosive death energy. He had been forging this move for years—an attack born from observing countless corrupted beings, their cursed blood, and their grotesque essence.
"The corrupted beings use tainted blood to shape their weapons," he murmured, his voice a whisper on the howling wind. "So I shall use my lifespan to forge death itself."
The corrupted beings froze in horror, watching Chen Xun's divine soul distort into sothing monstrous—five avatars of pure blackness, their eyes void of any light, yet their presence chillingly vibrant. In their hollow gazes lay a truth that could only be described as unnatural.

“This… This is not possible…”
“Ancestor… This aura… it’s beyond corruption! It’s beyond us!”
The three corrupted beings trembled visibly. Their forms, normally unwavering, seed to lose their composure. They couldn’t comprehend the thing before them—a mortal who had twisted death into an absolute force, sothing even their most cursed techniques feared to touch.
Chen Xun's lips curled into a thin, cruel smile. For the first ti, his usually lighthearted deanor vanished completely. What remained was a cold, calculated malice.
“Five elents, unified as one,” he declared softly. His gaze pierced through the corrupted beings like an eternal judgnt. “This move… is called Return to the Abyss.”
The sky roared as if splitting apart.
A thunderous boom erupted as five massive torrents of black death energy converged in mid-air, swirling into a singular, monstrous force. Dark flas crackled in its core, and from its depths erged an enormous shadow—an ancient figure whose features seed pulled from the nightmares of forgotten eras.
BOOM!
Waves of death rolled across the battlefield, smashing into the corrupted beings with unrelenting force. Their screams tore through the sky as their corrupted blood stilled, frozen by the aura of death. The black energy twisted into jagged spears of raw destruction, pinning their forms in place.
“This power… It’s consuming our essence!”
“We… we cannot escape!”
The corrupted beings struggled madly, their terrifying power thrashing against the chains of death energy, but to no avail. Their black mountains—the corrupted source of their strength—began to shatter, piece by piece.
Chen Xun stood in mid-air, his silver hair shimring eerily in the dark light. Both of his Mountain Splitting Axes floated at his sides, surrounded by the swirling deathly aura. His gaze remained locked on the corrupted beings, unmoving.
From a distance, Xiao Chi’s breath caught in his throat. Even the air seed frozen in fear.
“C-Corrupted beings of the Deity Transformation Stage… are losing?” Xiao Chi whispered. His eyes were wide, unblinking. “How… How is Brother Xun doing this?!”
The corrupted beings let out one last, desperate roar as Chen Xun’s move reached its climax.
“No!”
“We cannot die here! WE CANNOT!”
“Return to the Abyss,” Chen Xun intoned quietly, raising one hand as though commanding the heavens themselves.
The black energy condensed further, twisting violently into a spiraling storm. The massive shadow in the core let out a soundless roar as it descended upon the corrupted beings. In its wake, the very air trembled and fragnted.
“SLAY!"
BOOM!
A blinding flash of black light devoured everything.
When the energy dissipated, all that remained was an empty silence.
The corrupted beings were severely weakened—their forms barely holding together, their essence scattered but not entirely extinguished. The ground where they had stood was scarred with deep fissures, still smoldering with black smoke, a testant to the imnse power unleashed.
Chen Xun wavered in the air for a mont, then slowly descended, his body visibly weakened. The death energy that had swirled around him began to fade, and his silver hair returned to its usual dark color.
Xiao Chi and the others stared at him in stunned silence. None of them could speak. For a mont, it was as if the entire battlefield had forgotten how to move.
Finally, Xiao Chi broke the silence, his voice trembling with awe.
“Brother Xun … won.”
Chen Xun looked up, his expression calm once more. The hint of a grin returned to his lips as he slung both axes over his back.
“No big deal,” he said, his usual playful tone creeping back. “They just weren’t ready for my third Mountain Splitting Axe.”
Far above, in the deepest shadows of the clouds, an unseen force stirred. Eyes that had watched the battle narrowed slightly, their gaze lingering on Chen Xun.
“Interesting,” a voice murmured, echoing faintly across the heavens. “Very interesting…”
