Ace's face paled, 'It's not enough…!'

With a deafening roar, the remnants of the destructive wave shattered the weakened crescent and barreled into him.

Ace's vision went white as he was hurled backward, his body engulfed by the remnants of Destruction Law. Pain unlike any he had felt before tore through him as his body was assaulted by the very concept of destruction.

However, the glyphs on his back shimred in darkness as if they ca alive while his swords were covered in mysterious runes; they were absorbing this power of destruction at full capacity!

But they weren't fast enough as Ace crashed into the ground, carving a deep trench before coming to a stop. Smoke rose from his battered form, his skin cracking under the residual destruction aura. Blood seeped from his mouth as he struggled to breathe, his limbs feeling like lead; only his terrifying vitality and recovering force were keeping him together.

On the other hand, the Magister staggered, his translucent form flickering even more violently as in utter disbelief of Ace's survival.

"T.H.I.E.F…" A faint voice filled with killing intent sounded.

Ace instantly bought a few pills from the system, directly sent them to his mouth, and forced himself to stand, his legs trembling. His body scread at him to rest, but his eyes remained fierce.

He glared at the Magister, his spirit unyielding. He knew he couldn't falter here, or everything would be for nothing.

This was his first ti coming so close to dying in a Heavenly Punishnt, and the destruction caused by them was simply out of this world. The surrounding space was filled with recovering cracks, and the law of destruction ran rampant. These lands would probably beco a forbidden death zone in the future. "T-thief? W-what of it?" Ace growled, wiping the blood from his lips; his eyes were bloodshot.

Just as Ace's words trailed off, the battlefield trembled as the air grew heavy, laden with a suffocating might. The Magister's form twisted, cracking with destructive lightning.

'He's turning his body into an attack!?' Ace's eyes glead with an ominous glow.

The Magister was now turned into a raging storm of nightmarish oblivion, its colossal form towering above the shattered landscape.

The next mont, like a tidal wave of spatial ruptures, the attack surged, tearing through everything itself, devouring everything in its wake, heading directly towards Ace.

Ace knew he had to use everything, so he instantly activated the summoning abilities of the thief system, the Devilish Wise Owl!

Phantom-like ethereal wings, Devilish Wise Owl Wings span open behind his body and then appeared twisted pitch-black antelope-like Devil's Law Horns, enshrouding Ace's face in a cloud of darkness. However, the next, two vortices with dark blue flas ford, replacing Ace's eyes with the Devil's Insightful Eyes. Ace seed like a devil lord from hell as his entire human form changed.

Seeing the incoming attack, the dark blue flas flickered coldly and intensely flared like the sun, they were filled with profound wisdom as if they can see through anything.

Ace's voice rang at this mont, eerie and majestic, completely different from his normal voice, "Rule of Darkness: Desolation!"

It was Ace's first ti using the Rule of Darkness Order after becoming a Law State Cultivator and forming his inner world. He had no idea what could happen; he instinctively activated this Rule. The world suddenly went silent by those words. The surrounding darkness converged, solidifying into a single sphere of absolute darkness, pulsating with a terrifying rhythm.

A blurry, dark phantom of a hooded figure appeared behind Ace at this mont, and the phantom opened its hollow mouth, inhaling the incoming sphere.

For a mont, nothing happened. Then, the darkness exploded outward, an expanding wave of nothingness that erased everything it touched. Space shattered, ti-warped, and reality itself began to distort as the wave of desolation surged forward.

The Magister were utterly helpless against the Rule of Darkness, as waves of desolation consud the entire attack, turning light to darkness, space to void, existence to nothingness.

"ARRRRGHHH!" A terrifying scream filled with unwellness echoed as everything began to disintegrate, dissolving into darkness.

Ace's swords suddenly pulled the mysterious runes on the Magister's body, and the phantom behind Ace remained indifferent.

On the other hand, the Rule of Desolation showed no rcy as it devoured the Magister essence, which healed Ace's body at a terrifying rate.

When everything was gone, only silent and emptiness remained, the darkness finally receded, retracting into Ace's figure. The phantom behind him fades away. Amidst the ruins of the battlefield, nothing remained of the Magister—not even dust.

Suddenly, Ace exhaled, his body trembling from the exertion. The Rule of Desolation was a power that bordered on the godly level, a force that erased existence itself.

It was Ace's first ti wielding it to this extent; if he wasn't pushed to such a state, he might never have found out about it.

He looked at his hands, a flicker of unease crossing his infernal eyes. Yet, there was no regret. The Magister was finally gone.

The wind howled through the broken landscape, a reminder of the battle that had just ended. But Ace knew it wasn't over yet as he sensed the changes happening in his inner world.

At this mont, the system's voice rang.
