I hope she’ll allow it and won’t take offense."
The Vaultkeeper’s gaze instantly fell on Ace, and a chill ran down the latter’s spine as he felt like he was gazed by a vicious predator at that mont.
But Ace didn’t back down and kept looking at the Vaultkeeper with calm resolve; he knew if he showed weakness, the Vaultkeeper might turn hostile.
Furthermore, Ace has already hinted that he was saving it for his ’master’ and not even the Dread Duchess could say anything about it unless she thought her Ebon Vein Nectar was above an Abyssal King!
After a bit of a while, Vaultkeeper finally nodded and impassively said, "Very well, I’ll contact her highness and propose what you just said."
Without waiting for Ace’s reply, the Vaultkeeper took out a pitch-black talisman, and it instantly started to burn...
On the other hand, Lucy remained calm and composed on the stage; her smile didn’t fade at all despite knowing what she just announced could possibly get her in lots of trouble.
Nonetheless, it was a rare chance for her to sell this Ancient Abyssal Permit to an Abyssal Duke, which would increase her popularity trendously, and even her status within her race would be evaluated.
Moreover, if it weren’t because the seller specifically wanted the Ebon Vein Nectar, Lucy would have gone to any length to contact the Enchantress Demon Duchess to tell her the news.
But Lucy couldn’t, and she didn’t dare to have another thought about this rare item because not even the Obsidian Spirit Hall dared to covet it, and they were auctioning it, which ans whoever was selling it wasn’t soone to be ssed with.
Now, Lucy was waiting for soone within the VIP rooms to make contact with the Dread Duchess because Obsidian Spirit Hall knew soone within the VIP Rooms would have a connection with the Dread Duchess, and they didn’t need to do anything to draw her out.
As for soone other than the Dread Duchess making an exchange, the chances of that happening were almost none because of how rare the Ebon Vein Nectar was, and even if soone by heaven-defying chance had it, they had to seek the Duchess’s permission to use it unless they wanted to offend her.

Lucy was startled, like everyone else, as they looked towards the source of this voice collectively and were shocked because this voice belonged to the VIP Room 1!
