"Lord Marquis, recently there have been reports of thefts in the capital which are similar to the infamous thefts of the Bone rcenary City!"
The mont Marquis Kayleigh heard this report, her cold eyes flashed with a hint of surprise as she clearly knew what the Black Hall Minister was talking about, and not only was she, but almost the entire Abyssal Plains were aware of those strange events of the Bone rcenary City.
The Bone rcenary City was actually a neutral power residing between the border of the Strata of the Lost and the Strata of the Civilized Realms (Abyssal Plains). Furthermore, this city was a haven for Abyss Wanderers and unafflicted Abyssal Beings.
Moreover, Bone rcenary City actually has a City Lord at the realm of the Half-Abyssal King, and it also enjoys the protection of the enigmatic Moonless Wandering King, which is one of the main reasons this city has remained intact and hasn’t been occupied by powers like the Evernight Council.
Anyone who wanted to enter the Strata of the Lost for adventure would always first go to the Bone rcenary City, and also those who ca back alive rest in this place and can even sell whatever they had acquired from the lands of the wandering souls, not to ntion almost all the big powers have a branch in the Bone rcenary City!
That’s why a strange balance kept the city intact because everyone required such a place to rest or retreat into if they wanted to venture into the depths of the Strata of the Lost, and all these powers also helped the Bone rcenary City to keep the order. It was a win-win situation for everyone.
However, sothing unexpected happened for the first ti in the Bone rcenary City ever since its establishnt; in fact, these events were so strange that the entire Abyssal Plains were shocked because nothing like that had happened before.
Everything started with small thefts!
First, no one paid attention to it since robbing others for their treasures was the norm in a place like the Bone rcenary City, as long as no one got caught and was careful.
However, soon the Abyssal Beings started to realize that these weren’t just re robberies because the ’robbers’ didn’t kill or use coercion, but they ’steal’ without letting their victims react until it was too late, and they were already gone.
This was sothing unique in the Abyss of Wandering Souls, as those who know the difficulty of achieving sothing like stealing a storage ring without its master’s awareness until it was gone required an extrely high and unique set of skills and abilities.
The victims always left reeling with grievances and hatred, but they had no suspect. Furthermore, another unique aspect of this thief was that every ti they stole soone’s storage rings, they left an Abyss Gem carved in a unique coin shape, and on both sides were etched a symbol of imposing ’ten angelic wings’, and on the other side was a na, ’Evil Venerable Angel!’
This na, within a few months, gained huge notoriety in the Bone rcenary City, and her victims numbered in the thousands. Only at this point did the higher-ups of the Bone rcenary City start to notice this thief and even took her seriously as they used various thods to capture this arrogant yet skilled thief, Evil Venerable Angel!
However, just when those victims cried in joy and those who were wary of her thought the thief would be either captured and receive retribution or scared away by the might of the Bone rcenary City, the opposite effect occurred instead.
Within a month of the investigation’s initiation, the thefts increased instead of decreasing, and the number of victims suddenly surpassed 10,000.
The entire managent of Bone rcenary City was taken aback. Even the City Lord of the Bone rcenary City was furious, and he was even seen personally patrolling the city a few tis.
Yet, to everyone’s dismay and horror, the Evil Venerable Angel never stopped, and her ten angelic wings symbol beca the source of fear and hatred.
First, this news remained confined to the boundaries of the Bone rcenary City, and the city managent even attempted to suppress and conceal it, as it was a significant embarrassnt to the City’s managent, not to ntion humiliating.
But how could a paper hold fire? Within a year, this news soon reached all the powers, and even the Evernight Council deed it worthy enough to investigate.
This also led to powers like the Evernight Council being willing to recruit the Evil Venerable Angel due to her terrifying stealing abilities and stealthy skills, which even a Half-Abyssal King seed helpless against.
They even announced this recruitnt notice and offered complete protection as long as the Evil Venerable Angel was willing to join them, to the dismay and protest of the Bone rcenary City’s managent.
However, who would’ve thought the thief would not only ignore their boon, but instead do sothing even more bold than she had ever done before!
Within a month after those powers tried to recruit her, the Evil Venerable Angel stole again, and this ti she didn’t steal storage rings like her usual style.
Moreover, at this point, people no longer dared to wear storage rings and hid them because of their fear of the E.V.A. Instead, she directly stole the entire treasury from one of the big powers’ branches within the Bone rcenary City, which tried to recruit her!
This news shocked everyone as they finally realized that the E.V.A. didn’t just know how to steal storage rings; she could even steal the entire treasury without leaving any traces, and her victim this ti wasn’t alone or without protection either. She had stolen from a well-guarded branch headquarters of one of the big powers of the Bone rcenary City!
Now, not only were the Abyssal Beings wary and afraid of E.V.A., but even those big powers beca furious and afraid as, within a few days, they all tightened their security and defenses around their treasury vault, and so even directly sent the accumulated wealth back to their main headquarters.
After this incident, the E.V.A. suddenly vanished for five whole months, and everyone sighed in relief as they all thought the thief had finally been scared away by all the powers who were after her.
However, this was only until she struck again, and this ti, her victim was none other than the Lord Castle of the Bone rcenary City!
