Down below in the crisscrossed streets, deadly flashes and the majestic light of magic shimred everywhere.
Our soldiers, undaunted and fearless, marched over bodies and through flas, swinging their blades at the defensive lines established by the enemy.
The chaos of battle cries, curses, and screams mixed with the clanging of weapons was relentless, occasionally punctuated by the thunderous crash of collapsing buildings.
The stalemate between the enemies and us continued.
Under the full-force blockade of the enemy’s over 20 legions, our 12 reinforcing legions, initially unstoppable, grew increasingly bogged down like they were caught in a swamp.

Ariel gripped her magic wand firmly and nodded to Leo Ray, “But even if we reduce the power supply of just one magic tower, our forces approaching from outside the city will have an increased hope of breaking through the Absolute Defense Barrier!”
