Chapter 1859: Chapter 1052 Karina’s True Colors
As the heavy and solid ancient tal gates opened, a woman dressed in red noble attire, accompanied by a squad of neatly lined black-clothed guards, slowly erged before everyone.
The leading woman in red had a fair and exquisite face, wore red glasses, and there was a hint of fangs revealed from her rosy lips. An imposing aura subtly emanated from her, indicating she had reached the Tier 5 Level.
Behind her, the guards stood in orderly fashion, each with pale faces, deep dark circles under their eyes, and prominently visible fangs. Their minimum strength was also at Tier 3.
“Are they really a group of vampires?”
Leo Ray looked at the obvious racial traits of the other party, finally focusing his gaze on the woman in red at the forefront.
The higher the strength of the Blood Clan, the more perfectly they could hide their traits, which alone proved that the woman in red held an extraordinary identity, appearing like a secretary by the side of a CEO.
“Distinguished guests from the Lion Country, welco to the Ironhand Archipelago.”
An elegant and intellectual voice resonated, as the leading woman in red glasses placed a hand on her chest and bowed gracefully, saying, “I am Karina, chief lady-in-waiting to Her Majesty the Scarlet Queen. Her Majesty has been awaiting your arrival for quite so ti.”
“Your Excellency Karina, you are too kind. It is we who have co uninvited, disturbing your country.”
Leo Ray gave a faint smile, responding, “So, Her Majesty your Queen is already aware of our intentions?”
“His Royal Highness the Holy Lion, despite knowing the current plight of the Ironhand Archipelago, still led his people tirelessly to offer aid. Her Majesty was deeply touched and sent specifically to welco you all.”
Karina, who claid to be the chief lady-in-waiting, smiled warmly, then nodded to Leo Ray and said, “Please, Your Royal Highness the Holy Lion, and the other lords, follow . Her Majesty the Queen is eagerly anticipating this eting with you.”
“Then it would be our honor to accept your guidance.”
Hearing the opponent accurately call out his title, Leo Ray slightly nodded.
At a ti when the entire kingdom was amidst a crisis, the opponent could accurately discern our identity and intent. It was evident that the Blood Clan Queen was no ordinary individual.
“Since the Blood Clan Queen has accurately deduced everything, she must have also guessed that my ultimate goal is to ally with the Ironhand Archipelago to collectively oppose the other Human Clan’s Five Kingdoms.”
“Dealing with such a wise monarch, it may seem easier on the surface, but it is certainly filled with lethal traps at every step.”
As Leo Ray thought about this, he was guided by Karina towards the court occupied by the vampires.
Leo Ray understood clearly that this was the core of their authority. Since they opened the gates to let him and the six Tier 5 Powerhouses inside, they must have corresponding counterasures, unafraid of our sudden attack.
However, we knew very little about this mysterious kingdom, which had been isolated for a century. In other words, from the mont we stepped into the court, we were at an information disadvantage.
The key is, on the premise of knowing our final plan is to ally with the opponent.
Even if we spare no effort in helping the Vampire Queen through this crisis, the opponent might not necessarily accept our alliance.
By then, not only would our efforts be in vain, but the opponent, having fully restored their strength, might also turn against us, putting us in a fatal position.
“Overall, at least until we help to solve their problems, we won’t face any danger. This period will be crucial in my strategic play with the Blood Clan Queen.”
As Leo Ray furrowed his brow and reached this thought.
The leading lady-in-waiting, Karina, did not look back, but while adjusting the red glasses on her nose, she asked, “Your Royal Highness the Holy Lion, forgive my frankness, but you seem to have sothing on your mind?”
“I presu Your Excellency Karina is already aware that the Coldfla Kingdom is surrounded by strong enemies and is on the brink of destruction. How can I not be concerned?”
Leo Ray raised an eyebrow and then changed the subject.
“What’s crucial is, during the recent internal strife within my Coldfla Kingdom, I led my people to kill a few Blood Clan powerhouses from your country, and I’m afraid Her Majesty the Queen of your country might hold a grudge.”
At this point, Leo Ray added, “Although it was rely an internal power dispute within my Coldfla Kingdom, I never expected Blood Clan powerhouses to be involved. It was indeed an oversight.”
Having twice emphasized the internal strife, Leo Ray’s implied aning beca undeniable.
Bear in mind that the Black Duke from the Ironhand Archipelago forcibly intervened in the Coldfla Kingdom’s royal succession battle, which is a severely taboo issue among the power centers of various countries.
Therefore, needless to say, killing a few Blood Clan powerhouses was nothing out of the norm, even killing hundreds would be justifiable.
The reason Leo Ray proactively brought up the matter was for one purpose only: to ensure, to so extent, control over the upcoming discourse.
If the opponent cannot provide a satisfactory answer, then whether we will extend our help remains a question.
After all, the opponent is already aware that our ultimate goal is to form an alliance with them, and they will undoubtedly seize the initiative next, putting us in a passive position.
