The Absolute Defense Barrier covering our Fortress’s surface suddenly surged, like a calm lake stirred by a storm, waves rising violently one after another.

Leo Ray listened to the deafening explosions as he continued to observe the battle through the gaps in the flas of war.

“But how did that Alien Prince stop the other annihilating forces? It’s simply baffling.”
Just as Jered looked puzzled, the Saint King lazily glanced at him, speaking: “What is it? My most loyal Holy Knight Commander, are you afraid?”
“Your Majesty, why would you say that? I have no fear at all!”
Jered quickly kneeled on one knee, saluted with his hand on his chest, and said, “That Alien Prince is rely making his last struggle; no kingdom can withstand my Grim Kingdom’s million-strong army.”
“Good to know. Then, it’s ti to reveal my first trump card.”
The Saint King lightly waved his hand, a sneer appearing on his noble and aged face, and said dismissively, “It’s ti to let that base Otherworlder feel the invincibility of my Grim Kingdom.”
“As you command, Your Majesty, I will prepare imdiately.”
Jered respectfully stood up and instantly disappeared as a shadow from the Saint King’s presence.
The continuous Magic Guided Cannon fire still raged against both sides’ Defensive Barriers, but within Grim Kingdom’s camp, a deadly undercurrent was silently brewing.
“Lord, don’t you feel sothing is amiss?”
On the city wall, Ariel Watson looked at the dazzling magic radiance and continually deflected arrowheads on the Defensive Barrier ahead, frowning at Leo Ray, “The opponent’s Battle Airship troops remain on alert and seem not intending to advance and attack.”
“It’s obvious now; it seems they have more than just the Battle Airship troops as trump cards.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly and responded, “The enemy is powerful. If they want to maintain this high morale, they won’t let this stalemate last too long; it seems they will soon play a new trump card.”
“The Lord’s words are true, though this passive situation is indeed uncomfortable.”
Ariel Watson sighed softly, furrowing her brow.
“Being as steady as a mountain and striking after the opponent may not be as satisfying as preemptively striking, but it can often deliver a fatal blow to the opponent.”
Leo Ray smiled slightly, easing his inner tension while saying to Ariel Watson, “As I said, as long as we endure this life-and-death battle, Grim Kingdom will face insurmountable ruin.”
Just as Leo Ray and Ariel Watson conversed, the brewing undercurrent below finally surfaced, and a change occurred.
Suddenly, golden light erupted in the open area between the enemy’s Vanguard and Central Army.
A gigantic Golden Magic Circle appeared, bright and eye-catching, even overshadowing the continuous magic cannon fire’s luminescence on both sides.
To the astonishnt of those on our city wall, a semi-transparent Giant, taller than the city wall and gleaming with golden light all over, quickly materialized within the magic array.
As soon as the Giant took shape, it raised its enormous fist, like a wooden house, leapt from the ground, causing earth-shaking tremors, an astonishing montum.
Since all this happened in the blink of an eye, by the ti Leo Ray reacted.
The Golden Giant had already leaped over the enemy’s Vanguard, out of the enemy’s Absolute Defense Barrier, and ca charging straight at us.
“Aim at that Golden Giant, don’t let it near the Fortress!”
Leo Ray had no hesitation and imdiately gave new orders.
For a mont, our archers and Magic Artilleryn imdiately turned their direction, pouring dense attacks towards the opponent.
However, whether it was dense arrows or powerful magic cannon fire, they only left empty holes on the opponent’s vast semi-transparent body, piercing straight through.
The Golden Giant, though pierced with nurous holes, quickly restored itself, its enormous fist already fiercely slamming towards our Fortress.
