For the Territory, for Ariel Watson and his other subordinates, for his subjects and the otherworldly Lords, and to explore the truth of this world and the advent of the Lords, he would grip the sword in his hand tightly and never relax for a mont.
It wasn’t long before successive good news arrived.
“Reporting to the Lord, the left fleet of the enemy has completely lost the will to fight!”
“Reporting to the Lord, over twenty of the enemy’s main warships in the right fleet have raised the white flag!”
“Reporting to the Lord, the enemy is in full retreat, attempting to move closer to the shore!”
As the reports concluded, Leo Ray smiled at Catherine, whose face was full of excitent, and said, “It’s ti to bring this grand fireworks display for the invaders to a close.”

“General, my escort squadrons on both sides have lost contact one after another, fearing they’ve already surrendered.”
In the cockpit of the Pars Empire’s flagship “Duke of Abyss,” a middle-aged officer reported to Lennox, who was slumped in his chair, “Should we continue trying to contact them?”
“What’s there to contact? We’d be lucky to escape!”
Lennox’s lips were pale, and his tough face was filled with panic and disarray.
Not long ago, he had witnessed firsthand a Grim Kingdom main warship, still stubbornly resisting, consud entirely by the searing Dragon Breath, as if it were made of paper.
Afterwards, he issued orders to cease attack and implented a lights-out policy, attempting to escape amidst the chaos.
As for Prince Viceroy Lawrence, he sat opposite Lennox, his legs trembling uncontrollably.
Although imnsely panicked at first, after much deliberation, he and Lennox had decided to order a full counterattack and had returned to his flagship, the “Holy Shield.”
After all, if such a massive fleet collapsed without a fight, it would be unjustifiable and would severely damage their reputation.
The outco was predictable. Apart from inciting even more intense assaults from the enemy, there was no other effect.
Just a mont ago, his flagship, the “Holy Shield,” first had its Defensive Barrier shattered by a blaze, and then was imdiately smashed to pieces by a sonic boom, leaving only him and a few high-ranking commanders to narrowly escape back to where they were.
After this upheaval, Lawrence’s already limited fighting spirit was utterly depleted, and he had no choice but to issue a retreat order alongside his comrade in distress, Lennox.
“Lennox, if I were to seek asylum in your country, would your Emperor agree?”
Aware that Saint King William would never spare him, Lawrence was already planning his escape route.
“Your Highness Prince, you must understand that since my Imperial Majesty has already ford an alliance with your Saint King, I’m afraid…”
Lennox’s words trailed off, though his aning was clear.
“Is that so? It seems I can no longer stay in this Grim Kingdom. Where else could I go?”
Lawrence’s aged face was filled with lancholy as he contemplated his options further.
The Ironhand Archipelago, which has allied with the Coldfla Kingdom, certainly wouldn’t accept him, and apart from the Pars Empire, the only bordering countries are the Deep Green Kingdom and Coldfla Kingdom.
“According to the latest information, the Deep Green Kingdom has also ford an alliance with the Coldfla Kingdom, so wherever I go, it’s hard to escape the grip of that Otherworldly Prince. I have no desire to fall into the hands of that Otherworlder…”
Just as Lawrence thought of this, an unexpected event occurred.
With a “boom,” a petite and slender figure descended from the sky, piercing through the ship’s hull protected by an Absolute Defense Barrier, landing right in front of him and Lennox.
“Who are you?!”
The abrupt incident imdiately caused a great uproar in the large ship’s cabin.
Despite their shock, the surrounding generals and guards quickly regained their composure and shouted separately.
“Protect the General!”
“Protect his Highness the Prince!”
Upon hearing this, the petite figure cracked a smile, raising her eyebrows lightly as she spoke, “So both big catches are here? Protect others? Better look after yourselves first.”
With that, from the slender fingers of the petite figure, countless crimson threads shot out, tangling around dozens of robust figures attempting to surround her.
The blood threads penetrated the bodies, and everything ca to a halt.
As the petite figure slackened the blood threads, a spider-web-like crimson grid flickered, and those robust figures stood stiffly like puppets on strings, no longer moving an inch.
As all this happened in the blink of an eye, by the ti Lawrence and Lennox reacted, everyone in the cockpit, except the two of them, was limp-faced and puppet-like.
“What is this?!”
Witnessing this, Lawrence and Lennox were nearly suffocated with disbelief.
The cockpit was filled with the senior commanders of the allied fleet, with at least fifteen experienced Tier 4 Powerhouses present; even a Tier 5 Powerhouse would struggle in such a situation.
Yet, despite this, they were instantly and utterly controlled, with no room for resistance.
“Who exactly are you?”
In surprise, Lennox gathered his strength and questioned the petite figure.
“You aren’t worthy to know my na.”
Moonlight stread through the rupture above, illuminating a pale face with tiger-like teeth.
It goes without saying that this was Louise.
As her words faded, before Lennox and Lawrence could react, they were tightly bound by the irresistible blood threads, unable to move an inch.
“I’ve taken care of the Otherworlder Prince,” Louise quipped, with hands on her hips and puckered lips, “You’re the first to use as a scout.”
“I’ll make sure to repay you generously.”
A towering figure appeared out of thin air, smiling—it was Leo Ray.
“Your Excellency, you are the fad Otherworlder?”
Immobile, Lawrence promptly understood and blurted out.
“Yes, that’s .”
Based on the physical description and information provided by Catherine, Leo Ray quickly identified Lawrence and Lennox, raising an eyebrow slightly.
“Your Excellency, what do you want? I haven’t done anything against the Coldfla Kingdom!”
Lawrence was startled within, imdiately distancing himself from Saint King William. “It was all his doing, nothing to do with !”
In response, Leo Ray didn’t address his words but calmly said, “You have two options: surrender or die.”
The reason Leo Ray didn’t eliminate both imdiately was that annihilating the fleet seed too wasteful. Since they had lost the will to fight, it was best to make them useful.
Moreover, having carefully studied Lawrence and Lennox’s personal circumstances, Leo Ray believed the two might still prove valuable.
Especially Prince Viceroy Lawrence, though suppressed by Saint King William, he held minimal power but remained a Royal Family mber of the Grim Kingdom.
His status and all the information he possessed could be imnsely beneficial to Leo Ray.
As soon as Leo Ray finished speaking, Lennox, gritting his teeth, was the first to respond, “Holy Lion Prince, I am willing to lead the Pars Empire’s main fleet to lay down our arms. I request the Prince not to push us to the brink!”
“A wise choice.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly and then moved closer to Lawrence, smiling as he asked, “Prince Viceroy, what about you?”
