Chapter 2042: Chapter 1145: An Unexpected Request
“Is there anything else?”
Leo Ray sat in the command chair at the center of the Command Hall, nodding to Sean Parker.
“My Lord, in the recent decisive battle with the Pars Empire’s siege army, the Defensive Barrier of ‘Crystal Blue City’ was once again shattered. Although the enemies didn’t breach the city, they did shoot in a large number of arrows. During this period, I have been leading people to clear the walls and the outskirts of the city during my spare ti.”
Sean Parker clasped his chest in salute and reported to Leo Ray, “Among the million arrows collected from the Pars Empire, I happened to discover more than a dozen extrely special arrows while sorting through them.”
“Extrely special arrows?”

Sean Parker maintained a respectful posture and replied, “I thought there might be sothing unusual about these special arrows, so I reported to you.”
“Bring them for to see.”
Leo Ray’s curiosity grew even stronger as he ordered Sean Parker.
“Yes, please wait a mont, my Lord.”
Sean Parker bowed his head and soon disappeared from the Command Hall.
In the blink of an eye, when Sean Parker reappeared in front of Leo Ray, he held a crystal clear, translucent arrow in his hand.
“Please have a look, my Lord.”
Sean Parker bowed and handed the translucent arrow to Leo Ray respectfully.
Leo Ray gazed intently, taking a closer look.
It looked like an ice arrow ford by magic, exuding a faint chill.
However, unlike ordinary ice arrows, its tip was quite blunt, and within the translucent body, indeed a dark blue Mana flow wavered, emitting a gentle yet sowhat mysterious energy wave.
“It is indeed an unusual arrow, seemingly not intended for attack.”
Leo Ray observed for a while, nodding thoughtfully, “Moreover, if this arrow was ford by magic, it should have dissipated by now.”
“You are absolutely right, my Lord. Those are exactly the points I found intriguing.”
Sean Parker nodded in agreent, stating, “I believe there is sothing contained within; those energy flows are the manifestation.”
“Sothing contained within?”
Leo Ray furrowed his brows, thinking for a while. A hint of perplexity then appeared on his face.
These special arrows ca from the Pars Empire, which responded to the call of Gannon the Ninth and opposed us. Leo Ray truly couldn’t imagine what these special arrows might contain.
“My Lord, it might just be my illusion.”
Seeing Leo Ray confused, Sean Parker quickly added, “My Lord has a lot on his plate and shouldn’t waste ti on such trivial matters. It’s my fault for troubling you, my Lord.”
“No, you did well. Since we discovered a problem, we must investigate it thoroughly.”
Leo Ray waved his hand, smiling, “Details decide success or failure; this is vital.”
After speaking, Leo Ray pondered briefly and instructed Jasper Richardson to invite Caroline and Elder Bing.
“Already missing , Royal Highness Prince?”
Soon, a spirited voice rang out, and the red knight attired Caroline, smiling broadly, appeared first in front of Leo Ray.
“The Third Princess always has such humor.”
Leo Ray looked at her slender and long form, lightly raising an eyebrow, then proceeded to describe the matter of the Magic Arrows to Caroline.
As the Commander of the Unfallen Fortress, Caroline has long engaged in direct battles with the Pars Empire, possibly knowing so clues.
“This indeed is a strange matter.”
After hearing Leo Ray’s words, Caroline’s smile faded, and she raised her brow in concentration, “I am well-versed with all sorts of standard arrows and Mage ice arrows of the Pars Empire, but have never seen such a thing.”
Caroline spoke while her starry eyes narrowed, carefully observing the translucent arrow, pondering, “Perhaps the arrow’s shape is a disguise; the energy flow within is the key.”
“I think so, too.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly, then looked over at the Half-Elf Ancestor, “Jasper Richardson, what do you think?”
“My Lord, I share the sa thoughts as you and the Third Princess.”
Jasper Richardson stepped forward, frowning as well, “However, this arrow’s shell seems fragile but is actually extrely sturdy. It’s likely even I would find it hard to break it and thus cannot uncover its mysteries.”
“Even you can’t break this arrow?”
Hearing this, Leo Ray’s brows furrowed as well.
Recently, under the influence of various Tier 5 restorative and nourishing Magic dicines, Jasper Richardson’s strength had returned to Tier 5 Nine-Star.
Although there remained so gap compared to the peak state before his failed advancent, his power was imnse, where even a typical Tie 5 Powerhouse would struggle to contend with him.
Unexpectedly, even a Tier 5 elite like Jasper Richardson could do nothing to this arrow.
