The sound of footsteps echoed in the spacious underground passage, raising layer upon layer of dust from the ancient ground.
After three thousand years, this underground passage, sealed away by ti and the elents, finally welcod its long-lost guests.
On both sides of the underground secret path, the Winged Race’s unique war engravings were carved, mostly depicting fierce battles or array formations with nurous soldiers in the sky.
Compared to the Elven Tribe’s masterful and ticulously detailed craftsmanship, the Winged Race’s reliefs were distinctly simpler, yet they carried an indescribable sense of elegance and liveliness, as if the Winged Race warriors in the images could co to life at any mont.
"I must say, compared to the Elves, the Winged Race’s cultural richness is certainly impressive."
Since entering this Barrier Area, lody Lyon, who had been following beside Leo Ray, couldn’t help but keep her slightly parted lips open in admiration.
As a survivor of the Era of Blankness, lody Lyon had mysteriously lost most of her mories, but still had impressions of so details.
For instance, in that glorious Epoch of Ten Thousand Clans, the Elves, Winged Race, Dwarves, and Human Clan were all at the pinnacle of existence.
And now, these powerful races that once birthed nurous new deities had fallen into such a state of complete destruction, how could lody Lyon not sigh with emotion?
On the other side, the Divine Stone nad Null shared the sa expression of awe.
Born after the Era of Blankness, Null could not grasp lody Lyon’s lancholy, but his heart was equally filled with confusion.
All Null knew as a Divine Stone was that he bore the responsibility of exploring the truth of this world, uncovering the secrets of the Era of Blankness.
Yet who was his creator, and how would he assist the Lord in revealing the truth of this world? Null had no answers, as he possessed no information about the Era of Blankness.
But Null clearly understood, just like Little Illusion and Yoyo, who were also Divine Stones, they all believed that by following the Lord’s footsteps, everything would eventually beco clear.
With the sound of their footsteps echoing in the underground passage, Leo Ray quickly reached the end of the tunnel.
A small secret chamber lay ahead, seemingly empty except for a glowing pale grey magic circle spinning on its own—a unique teleportation array of the Winged Race.
"I really want to see what kind of mystery you’re selling."
Raising an eyebrow slightly, Leo Ray, led by lody Lyon and Null, stepped directly into the teleportation array.
With a familiar yet distinct sensation of lightness passing through him, Leo Ray’s vision soon cleared, and he was stunned.
lody Lyon and Null, who had been teleported in first, also involuntarily widened their eyes, clearly astounded by the scene before them.
As Taylor and the others arrived afterward, they too took a deep breath, trying to adjust their emotions of surprise; no matter how many tis they witnessed this scene, it was always deeply shocking.
The group found themselves on a towering platform resembling a commander stage, and below them was an expansive space, where colossal black full-tal dragons stood towering!
These black tal dragons were akin in size to the normal Dragon Clan, each standing at least five or six stories high, their eyes tightly shut, tal wings folded, lined up in standing positions.
At a glance, they resembled a chain of tal hills, utterly immovable.
It was no exaggeration to say, even though the group stood on the higher commander stage, the tal dragons remained inactive, yet an indescribable sense of oppression arose spontaneously, sending shivers through them.
"No wonder even Red Night and Taylor are tight-lipped; this scene is truly unimaginable."
Leo Ray squinted his eyes, looking at the giant black scales with matte sheen, and spoke involuntarily.
A single dragon can easily destroy a city; who knows what extent these ancient creations of the Winged Race can reach?
"Lord, these should be a special kind of giant dragon-type full tal alchemical puppet."
After a mont, Red Night’s elegant brows furrowed slightly as she spoke first: "Reluctant as I am to admit it, every detail of these puppet dragons is crafted perfectly, making it difficult for even to distinguish without considering their color and sheen."
After a pause, Red Night added: "The ability to create such astonishing alchemical constructs shows how remarkable the Winged Race’s technology was at the ti."
"I didn’t expect even you to give such high praise."
Leo Ray’s gaze swept over the solid tal scales, continuing his observation, eventually settling on the folded wings of the tal dragons.
In so ways, the relatively delicate wing mbrane is undoubtedly one of a dragon’s weaknesses, yet these tal dragons also have fully tal wings—it is hard to imagine what they would look like unfolded.
"Lord, these are indeed a type of dragon alchemical puppets."
lody Lyon’s lips parted slightly as she agreed: "The scale of these alchemical puppets is astonishing; even during the Silver Moon Era, such alchemical creations were rarely seen."
