The old eyes of the Grey Elder narrowed slightly, gazing at the fiery scene of the siege below the mountain. “That’s right, to a large extent, the Holy Lion Prince has already led the Coldfla Kingdom beyond the original limits of the Human World.”

“Chairman, aren’t you worried that the Holy Lion Prince might dominate and beco the ruler of the Human World alone?”
Durant, listening up to this point, could not help but ask the question outright.

The old eyes of the Grey Elder moved slowly over the spectacular siege scene below the mountain, responding, “Although this has, to so extent, promoted a martial atmosphere within the Human World, it is seen by other races as nothing more than foolish internal conflict.”
“If a true ruler could erge within the Human World, gathering the entire human power to venture beyond this small place and make contact with those more powerful other races, human civilization would experience unprecedented prosperity and growth.”
The Grey Elder’s voice remained calm, yet it revealed an undeniable trace of excitent as he continued, “So, as I said, this might not be a bad thing.”
“But what if the Holy Lion Prince lacks the capacity to be a ruler, rely a tyrant lost in desire?”
Durant thoughtfully nodded, imdiately pursuing further, “For the Human World, this might not be prosperity, but destruction.”
“That is precisely what we need to understand.”
The Grey Elder’s plain gray robe fluttered in the wind as he noncommittally replied, “But at least for now, this Holy Lion Prince from the Otherworld has not made any move of a tyrant; instead, he has fully displayed the deanor of a benevolent ruler.”
“The Holy Lion Prince even spared the surrendered soldiers and residents of the Grimm Kingdom, clearly intending to preserve and consolidate every piece of strength in preparation for a greater stage.”
Yonir took over the conversation, agreeing, “It seems his ambition is evidently not just the Human World, which aligns with our thoughts; perhaps the entire Human World will undergo a drastic transformation under the influence of this Otherworldly Lord.”
The old Alchemist paused for a mont and added, “With his currently astonishing rate of developnt, drastic change is only a matter of ti, and, of course, so is dominating the entire Human World.”
“But no matter how you think about it, this is too risky, considering that we don’t really understand the Holy Lion Prince, and placing the safety of the entire Human World in one person’s hands is simply the craziest thing I’ve ever heard of.”
Durant’s thick eyebrows furrowed as he couldn’t help but sigh again.
After the last eting, although he recognized Leo Ray’s ability and audacity and had so favorable opinions, it was clear he hadn’t reached the level of complete trust.
“This is indeed a gamble, but the reason we take this matter so seriously is not just because the Holy Lion Prince has the potential to lead the Human World beyond its limits, going towards the Outer Region.”
The Grey Elder first glanced at Yonir, and they both saw an unspoken understanding in each other’s aged eyes before slowly addressing Durant, “Although you didn’t participate in the Ultimate Decisive eting a century ago, you should have heard of it, right?”
