Chapter 2216: Chapter 1234: The Lord’s Reflections and Arrangents
“First of all, it is about the Dinsional Storm.”
The wrinkled face of Grey Elder was full of seriousness as he said to Leo Ray, “Surely your Highness has heard of it, especially in the past century, this special and extrely dangerous natural phenonon has been occurring more frequently. If not stopped in ti, it will inevitably cause great harm to the local area.”
“Therefore, compiling and analyzing the occurrence sites of the Dinsional Storm is one of the key investigation targets of the rcenary Guild.”
Grey Elder gently stroked his white beard and continued, “After all, this Human World region is too vast. If we search inch by inch, it’s like finding a needle in a haystack.”
“That makes sense, with the vast and complex terrain of the Human World, without a targeted approach, even in a thousand years, it would be hard to find any clues, let alone several hundred years.”
Leo Ray lightly caressed his chin, retracting his gaze from admiring the ancient surroundings, and mused, “And the Dinsional Storm is essentially a tear in the Void Space, it might really be related to the Great Catastrophe rift.”
“Another critical point is that Dinsional Storms were a special phenonon before the Era of Blankness, and they disappeared for at least two thousand years after the Era of Blankness.”
“And now, they reoccur more frequently under the premise that the prophecy of Great Catastrophe might beco a reality at any ti, making it hard not to associate the two together.”
Hearing this, Grey Elder nodded and affird, “Your Highness indeed saw through it at once. Just as you considered, these two points are precisely why the rcenary Guild is focusing on the Dinsional Storms.”
After receiving this confirmation from Grey Elder, Leo Ray pondered a bit and asked, “According to what I have learned, while Dinsional Storms have appeared in various nations within the Human Domain, the situation in the Verdant Kingdom is the most severe. This must be the primary investigation target for the rcenary Guild, right?”
“Exactly, just as your Highness ntioned, especially in the past dozen years, whenever I have spare ti, I personally go to the Verdant Kingdom for investigation.”
Grey Elder turned a corner of a corridor with his entourage, and his expression remained solemn as he said, “During this process, although I also led my rcenaries to vigorously suppress the discovered Storm Eyes, due to the frequent appearances of Dinsional Storms, quite a few still affected the towns of the Verdant Kingdom.”
“This is indeed a problem, considering that compared to the other Six Countries, the Verdant Kingdom is sparsely populated, with vast grasslands and nurous deserts and sandy areas, even a Tier 6 Expert cannot attend to every corner of such a vast land.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly and spoke, “However, I have completely replicated the Coldfla Kingdom’s mature technology for monitoring Dinsional Storms to the Verdant Kingdom and several other countries, establishing nurous monitoring stations and early warning chanisms. Presumably, Dinsional Storms will no longer pose a threat to the Human World.”
“Your Highness’s noble contributions to the Human World cannot be asured by any single word.”
Grey Elder generously praised Leo Ray at first and then changed the topic, “However, after detailed on-site investigation, surprisingly, the Verdant Kingdom is actually not the area most severely ravaged by Dinsional Storms.”
“Oh?”
A gleam of curiosity flashed in Leo Ray’s eyes as he continued to listen.
“To be honest with you, your Highness, the area most severely ravaged by Dinsional Storms is actually the Mariti Domain surrounding the Verdant Kingdom.”
Grey Elder paused in front of a large map depicting the Human World, his aged fingers pointing towards the expanse of blue surrounding the Human World, his expression becoming increasingly solemn.
“It’s actually on the sea?”
Leo Ray gazed at the wide expanse of blue stretching to the edge of the map, his eyes flickering with a keen light.
The Human World is located at the bottom of the entire continent. Except for the Coldfla Kingdom at the center of the Human Domain, the other six countries are more or less adjacent to the sea.
However, compared to land and air trade, mariti trade in the Human World has developed relatively slowly, and even wars rarely take place at sea.
This has led to the developnt of mariti power being much less emphasized across the countries and not nearly as strong as on land.
“Except for assisting Catherine to break through an encirclent, I have never truly experienced a genuine naval battle, this indeed is a place that is easily overlooked.”
Considering this, Leo Ray nodded thoughtfully.
On close reflection, although I am currently vigorously developing combat power on land and even in the air, my attention to mariti power has been relatively limited.
In this situation, if the Great Catastrophe rift were indeed to appear sowhere from the sea, it would undoubtedly place , with weak mariti power, in an extrely passive position.
After all, the specifics of the Great Catastrophe are not yet clear, whether it’s so kind of terrifying natural disaster or an imbalance between real space and Void Space like the Dinsional Storms, having strong enough mariti power might allow to find a way or thought to solve the problem at the first mont.
Even if it cannot stop the occurrence of the Great Catastrophe, it is much better than being completely unprepared.
Moreover, the board warfare between other Lords is bound to start from the sea, and if strength is insufficient, I will also fall into an extrely passive position.
Thus, from whatever aspect I consider, I must hasten to put this matter on the agenda.
