Leo Ray took the cup, nodded to Warren and the servants, and said, “I owe a lot to you all during this period. Just a few people taking care of such a large mansion; I have been busy with the war and neglected that your workload increases as the mansion upgrades.”
Saying this, Leo Ray turned to the old steward and continued, “Especially you, Warren, responsible for the territory’s logistics; it must be quite demanding, right? It’s because of your ticulous care of the territory that I can move forward without worries.”
“You overpraise us, my lord. This is rely what we subordinates ought to do.”
Warren, together with the maids, waved modestly and then solemnly said, “Ensuring the lord’s castle is spotless is our duty; it’s nothing major.”
“Even duties should be fulfilled within one’s limits. You all are indispensable to the territory, and keeping an eye on your well-being is also my Lord’s obligation.”
Leo Ray sipped the tea, smiling at the old steward, “With this next summoning of new subordinates, I hope to recruit a professional servant team. If not, I’ll have Roger and them take off their armor and serve under you as butlers.”
“My lord, please don’t joke. Those muscle enthusiasts are all tall and robust, they can’t fit into the servants’ clothes.”
Warren’s old face also showed a smile and quickly waved his hand, “There aren’t even any suitable brooms for them here.”
After speaking, the old steward composed himself and began listing the dishes and confirming Leo Ray’s schedule for the day.

Leo Ray nodded slightly, asking, “Has the food for the new colleagues been prepared?”

Warren placed his hand on his chest and replied promptly.
“Very well, let’s go take a look then. As the population of the territory grows, I’m curious if Rudy and the Farr Squad handling the cooking can manage the als for so many new subordinates. After all, I require not just full als, but quality ones.”
Leo Ray said this while pushing open the Lord’s Mansion’s doors.
Seeing their lord’s figure, a patrolling Radiant Guard squad saluted respectfully at the entrance.
Leo Ray gently patted the shoulder armor of the guard captain to show encouragent and nodded, signaling the saluting guards to continue their duties.

Looking at the tallic sheen of the recruitnt orders, a hint of expectation surfaced on Leo Ray’s face.

Just as Leo Ray thought of this, the dazzling golden brilliance began to fade, the golden portals gradually turned ethereal and transford into ever-weaker golden energy particles, until they rged entirely into the air.
Before Leo Ray, robust silhouettes exuding a remarkable aura beca clearer.
However, when Leo Ray saw the faces of the new subordinates, a look of confusion appeared on his face, not only on Leo Ray himself, but even amongst the other welcoming subordinates, all looked at each other in disbelief.
Each of these new subordinates, though of remarkable aura and indeed at Tier 3, was clad in thin, tight-fitting attire, holding no weapons.
Looking so disheveled, they resembled a band of struggling refugees, with many still panting heavily, clearly contrasting with the fully ard, heroic image everyone imagined.
“Even that reckless Scarlett rely forgot her weapon; this scenario is indeed unexpected.”
Leo Ray smiled helplessly and continued to observe.
The newcors quickly gathered under the command of their respective commanders, within monts, a company of new subordinates was assembled.
Seeing the new subordinates’ swift movents and orderly ranks, Leo Ray nodded with satisfaction.
From their movents alone, it was evident this was a well-trained force, and as for equipnt, that was clearly not an issue for him.
“What intrigues is what could have possibly occurred for them to arrive so disheveled in response to the summoning?”
