As the curtain of battles unfolded everywhere, the relentless blade light and magic radiance intertwined, each resulting in violent energy waves that caused the massive mountain body to faintly tremble.
In the deepest part of the Dragon’s Lair, thick Dragon Mirage Mist perated the air, casting everything in a gray-white haze that made it difficult to discern the scene within.
“Great King, so small insects have infiltrated.”
Amidst the swirling dark mist, a massive dragon shadow lowered its head, retracting its wing mbrane, as it reported to an even larger figure: “According to reports, traces of Treants, Gnos, Wood Fairies, and even the tiny Human Clan have been found, though their purpose remains unclear.”
“Have they all co? It saves the trouble of searching for them individually later.”
The high-ranking dragon shadow’s deep and husky voice sounded, unperturbed: “Their purpose at this ti is obvious.”
“My King, do you an they plan to interfere with the Dragon King’s ritual?”
The voice of the giant dragon shadow carried a hint of disbelief, puzzled: “But how did they know the ceremony was about to begin?”

“My King speaks truth; they will never know what we have deployed deep within this lair, a nightmarish trap.”
The giant dragon shadow also emitted a contemptuous huff, then questioned: “My King, one thing puzzles : why have those ants that suffered defeat at our hands united again? It couldn’t be because of the reckless new Human Clan leader, could it?”
“That’s the only explanation, though laughable as it sounds. Yet indeed, the ant attempts to rock the tree; seemingly, the decision to erase the Human Clan was right, as these ants possess no value for existence.”
The golden pupil of the high-ranking dragon shadow flashed coldly in the mist, murderous intent boiling: “Enough, this place will be their grave; prepare the ceremony at once.”
“As you command, My King.”
The giant dragon shadow again bowed its vast head, retreating into the dark nest, while the high-ranking dragon shadow also turned to leave, soon disappearing.
In the vast and mysterious depths of the Dragon’s Lair, only the thick mist continued to churn in the darkness, and amidst this, enormous shadows seed to wander, indistinctly visible.
As silence reclaid the depths of the Dragon’s Nest, on the other side, the battle intensified.
Outside the three entrances shielded by Absolute Defense Barrier, dragon roars echoed across the realm, massive dragon shadows breaking through the mist, mouths agape, sweeping back and forth, ceaselessly spewing ferocious flas at the entrances covered by Wood Fairies’ Absolute Defense Barrier.
With the flas casting light far and wide, the entire mountain peak turned a fiery red; even the sand and stone caught fire, smoke and char engulfing all.
Amidst the blaze, not only did dragons dance in the sky, but on the ground, flaming stone golem puppets erged. Clearly summoned by dragons, these were also frenziedly hurling fire stones towards the entrance.
“Alternate firing of the high-altitude Magic Cannons; do not pause even for a second!”
Inside the entrance of the Dragon’s Lair, Crisis shouted hoarsely, commanding the Wood Fairies soldiers to counterattack from within.
Before them, the entire entrance was engulfed by flas. Despite the Absolute Defense Barrier’s blockade, temperatures surged, heat waves rolled about, akin to facing the flaming Gate of Purgatory.

“Distribute all Fire Resistance Magic dicines; deploy Ice System and Water System magicians to one side of the entrance to fend off ground summons. Even blind firing, deter their approach near the hole!”
Crisis wiped sweat from her pale forehead, instructing: “Under no circumstance let flas spread inside the nest!”
Following Crisis’s order, the Elf Elder visibly placed his hand on his chest, and rushed to carry out the command.
Watching the elder depart, Crisis took no breather, her gaze turning to the temporarily constructed Magic Towers surrounding her.
These towers designed to supply mana to the Absolute Defense Barrier were hollow, revealing seated Wood Fairies soldiers, intensely focused on power provision inside.
