Capítulo 2452: Chapter 1356: The Truth at the Heart of the Matter
Under the moonlight, the figures of the approaching group gradually beca clearer.
From their appearance, they looked almost identical to Crisis and the other wooden fairies, with their petite and delicate figures and similar flight postures.
However, unlike the simple, translucent wings of Crisis and the other wooden fairies, their butterfly-like wings were adorned with vibrant colors, making the difference between the two easily distinguishable.
“Treants, Dwarf Elves, and even humans?”
The leading female flower fairy blinked her starry eyes, scanning everyone in our group one by one, her face, blackened by the smoke of war, full of astonishnt.
Not only her, but even the other flower fairy elders behind her looked at each other in disbelief.
Though Treants and Dwarf Elves had been oppressed by dragons for centuries, they were known entities in the Outer Region, but why were humans, who had never even been able to enter the Outer Region, appearing here?
Finally, her gaze fell on Crisis, her eyes grew increasingly complex as she mumbled to herself, “I didn’t expect to see a wooden fairy.”
Although filled with doubt and unsure why Leo Ray and others decided to help, the leading female flower fairy cald her mind, showing a highly grateful expression.
She understood clearly that regardless of the circumstances, it was due to the aid from our side that the heavily injured flower fairies could defeat their formidable enemies, thus avoiding the threat of complete annihilation.
Feeling grateful, the leading female flower fairy waved her hand casually, water energy particles enveloping her, initially washing away the gri from her face, then she solemnly declared, “Queen Fanny of the Flower Fairies thanks all of you for your assistance!”
“Your Majesty needn’t be so polite, it was a re trifle.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly and began to observe the other party closely.
Their age seed similar to Crisis, likely not less than five hundred years old.
However, unlike Crisis, whose face revealed competence, the other’s fair and noble appearance exuded elegance and grace, truly fitting a queen’s deanor.
In comparison, even though Crisis, as the Clan Leader, commanded the wooden fairies, she was evidently less noble and more down-to-earth than the other.
Additionally, the small, exquisite crown on their head also indirectly confird their status.
As Leo Ray thought about this, he briefly introduced himself and our group.
During this process, Queen Fanny of the Flower Fairies remained extrely composed; yet, when Leo Ray introduced Crisis, their starry eyes t, and both revealed a hint of embarrassnt.
This was understandable, after all, though both belonged to the Fairy Clan, one revered nature while the other had stepped into a city-state stage, resulting in over two thousand years without communication, even resulting in several wars.
“Alright, now that everyone’s acquainted, obviously this isn’t the ti for idle chat.”
Leo Ray looked at the war-torn battlefield around them and nodded to Fanny, “Your Majesty, the pressing matter is to rally the troops and heal the wounded. If Your Majesty trusts us, this Land of Divine Favor will beco a sanctuary for the flower fairies, and I will send you back to your holand.”
“Your Majesty of the Humans, before that, I have a question that needs answering.”
Fanny exchanged glances with the other flower fairy elders, then solemnly asked, “May I ask why you chose to save us?”
“Isn’t it obvious?”
Leo Ray smiled faintly and replied imdiately, “Wooden fairies and flower fairies share the sa roots, and flower fairies once had inseparable ties with the Ancient Human Tribe. Logically and emotionally, it’s only natural that we would help.”
“Your Majesty of the Humans is right, if we hadn’t helped, that would indeed be odd, wouldn’t it?”
Crisis nodded towards the flower fairies, echoing the statent.
Hearing this, gratitude and emotion filled the eyes of Fanny and the other flower fairy elders.
In this great war, the flower fairies experienced ups and downs, and the limited cooperation with the Dragonborn was based only on mutual war interests, eventually leading to betrayal by the forr.
In contrast, Your Majesty of the Humans and others not only helped at a crucial mont but also asked for nothing in return, how could Fanny and the flower fairies not be deeply moved?
If Your Majesty of the Humans hadn’t intervened, the flower fairy army would have t a disastrous end on this battlefield.
“I understand, then I entrust the task to Your Majesty, and I will gather the Grand Army imdiately!”
Feeling grateful in her heart, Fanny first bowed with a hand over her chest to Leo Ray, then promptly began directing the efforts.
“The wooden fairies will fully cooperate with your operations.”
Leo Ray nodded slightly, giving Crisis a nod as well.
With the assistance of Crisis and the wooden fairy soldiers she led, the heavily damaged flower fairy army quickly entered Ice Stone City.
Since Leo Ray had already designated a large area in Ice Stone City for rest, equipped with all our healing powers and a large number of Magic dicine and Magical Scrolls.
Thus, with the entrance of the flower fairy soldiers, the healing work began imdiately, enveloping Ice Stone City in a warm and gentle atmosphere.
Seeing Leo Ray so generously helping, Fanny and the flower fairies were beyond grateful, and the flower fairy soldiers received proper care to the fullest extent, bringing the number of casualties under further control.
