Capítulo 2605: Chapter 1435: Getting Straight to the Point
As Loris finished speaking, Sina also furrowed her brows and asked the Administrator: “Your Excellency, Administrator, you didn’t ntion earlier that there was a third competitor for the equipnt exchange.”
“The most crucial point is, they are just humans who have only recently erged from the Outer Region. What qualifications do they possess to compete with us for Sixth-order Equipnt?”
The Masked Man snorted coldly and agreed: “Before this, we did indeed receive reports suggesting the presence of Sixth-order equipnt among the Emperor of the Human Clan’s strongest mbers, but that was rely posturing. In truth, there is no Sixth-order equipnt, right?”
“Heh, our alliance stands at the peak of third-class forces, yet we don’t even have such national-level treasures like Sixth-order Equipnt available. How could it suddenly appear in the hands of re humans?”
Old Susan squinted her elderly eyes slightly, and with a hint of disdain, she gazed at Leo Ray and said sarcastically: “Perhaps they want to use this opportunity to bolster their status and further seek a chance to befriend us, hoping we will withdraw our troops?”
After Susan spoke, both the strong mbers of the Rainforest Fortress Alliance and the Desert Alliance, rarely reached a consensus, directing their disdainful looks toward Leo Ray.
Though they were adversaries, they had long been established in this region and indeed did not take the new arrivals like us seriously.
“Your Excellency, Administrator, even if finding a competitor, it shouldn’t be of this level, right? Isn’t it because this person holds significant connections with Your Excellency, hence the exception to let them join?”
Loris cast another glance at Leo Ray and shook his lion-like head helplessly: “It’s not a problem, after all, they’re just an insignificant spectator. Please bring out the equipnt’s owner.”
“Your Excellency, Administrator, I am interested only in the equipnt’s owner.”
Sina chose to ignore Leo Ray completely, nodding at the Administrator: “Quickly bring out the esteed owner of the equipnt.”
Just as the two leaders were speaking, our Administrator had already arrived beside Leo Ray, reporting: “Your Majesty, everyone has arrived.”
Upon hearing the Administrator’s words, the strong mbers of the two alliances present were filled with confusion, starting to exchange puzzled looks.
Following the usual protocol, the Administrator should be inviting the equipnt’s owner, so why were they wasting ti with the Emperor of the Humans instead? Aren’t they worried about offending the equipnt’s owner?
It’s known that those who can produce two sets of Sixth-order equipnt are certainly not ordinary individuals, let alone second-tier powers, it could very well be a renowned mber of a first-class force or even a royal family mber.
Under the bewildered eyes of the crowd, the Administrator’s formal introduction echoed: “mbers of the Rainforest Fortress Alliance and Desert Alliance, please allow to formally introduce the personage before you, the Emperor of the Human Clan, who is indeed the owner of the two sets of Sixth-order equipnt just seen!”
With the Administrator’s words, the entire hall fell silent.
The previously confused glances quickly transford into astonishnt, and the crowd started to exchange looks of disbelief.
Especially Loris and Sina, whose once arrogant expressions turned complex, unsure of what to say.
The Administrator, being the highest authority of the Shadow Market, representing the entire Bazaar Brotherhood’s power, naturally wouldn’t lie, undoubtedly aning Leo Ray indeed is the one they’ve eagerly sought to et, the equipnt’s owner.
Yet, recalling their earlier disdain, their expressions began to stiffen ever more, as if ordinarily, even if misunderstandings arose, they wouldn’t care the slightest.
Now, however, they had just handled the coveted Sixth-order equipnt, its favorable thick texture still lingering in their palms—how could they let this chance slip away?
“Your Excellencies, we finally et.”
Leo Ray, sitting steadily at the negotiation table, was the first to speak, chuckling indifferently: “It seems I’m not trying to inflate my status, nor am I rely posturing.”
As Leo Ray said this, his gaze swept towards the most audacious, the Masked Man and Old Susan, causing both to shrink their necks, avoiding Leo Ray’s gaze.
To be aware, Leo Ray is the true equipnt owner—if their reckless words earlier offend Leo Ray, depriving their leaders of the precious opportunity to obtain Sixth-order equipnt, they would undoubtedly face severe punishnt.
“Your Majesty of the Humans, my subordinates were ignorant, please do not bla us.”
Loris reacted the quickest, first glaring ferociously at the ever-obtrusive Old Susan, then grinning sheepishly at Leo Ray: “It was rely a small misunderstanding.”
Despite the smile, throughout his words, Loris’ sharp lion eyes constantly assessed Leo Ray from top to bottom.
Earlier outside the Shadow Market, when Thomas ntioned Leo Ray might be the equipnt’s owner, he didn’t take it seriously.
However, now, although he temporarily greeted with a smile for the sake of the equipnt, he had to reassess Leo Ray’s strength while secretly probing Leo Ray’s intentions of presenting the equipnt, contemplating counterasures.
All in all, his goal remained singular—to obtain the coveted Sixth-order Divine Weapon by any ans, even if that leads to ripping off faces post-acquisition.
“Hehe, Your Majesty of the Humans, indeed it was my oversight, failing to discipline my subordinates appropriately.”
Sina then forcibly struck the Masked Man’s head with a Magic Wand in reprimand, then first thrusting her ample chest forward, proceeded to wink flirtatiously at Leo Ray: “Please, Your Majesty, do not mind the minor’s faults, do not take this matter to heart.”
