“Rest assured, Lord Leader, according to my humble opinion, the opponent is like a turtle in a jar, not knowing what to do, they are probably scared to death right now?”
The gray-robed Witch Demon’s skeletal face was full of reckless delight, and he laughed, “It’s all thanks to Lord Leader’s divine strategy in warfare. They are about to be turned into dead spirits one by one.”
Upon the gray-robed Witch Demon’s words, the surrounding other Witch Demons also voiced their agreent, causing a sinister laughter and jubilation atop the Forest White Giant City wall.
“No, sothing must be off here.”
The Witch Demon Leader pondered for a mont, then commanded the gray-robed Witch Demon, “Take seventy percent of the garrison troops here out of the city to assist the Undead Army in besieging those ants. Make sure to annihilate them quickly. I want them all reduced to dust!”
“Understood, Lord Leader.”
Upon hearing the command, although the gray-robed Witch Demon did not believe our side could hold on much longer, he imdiately led a large number of Witch Demons and Dead Spirits rushing out of the city.
Not long after, as the troops led by the robe-clad Witch Demon joined the siege, along with the continuously arriving Undead Army from all directions, the assault we faced beca increasingly fierce.
With the pressure our Absolute Defense Barrier was bearing rapidly increasing, even though almost all of our Magic-type strong persons joined in supplying energy, the Barrier Wall inevitably began to show traces of cracks which expanded rapidly.
Under such dense and frenzied attacks, once the Absolute Defense Barrier shatters, our fate would be apparent.
“Everyone, go all out, we must not fall here!”
Sina stood before the Energy-Supplying Array, channeling mana into the formation while shouting, “Your Majesty of the Humans is striving to reverse our fate, and we must buy enough ti for him!”
Hearing Sina’s words, the spirits of the magicians were lifted; determination appeared on their faces, and in their united effort, so of the fine cracks on the Barrier Wall were being repaired.
However, this favorable situation did not last long. As several Water Elf strong persons collapsed from mana overload, the previously repaired sections of the Barrier Wall began to crack swiftly again, placing unimaginable pressure on the others.
Facing the ever-increasing defensive pressure, the speed of mana consumption naturally soared swiftly, and it didn’t take long before more of our magic users began to collapse with pale faces, many even spitting blood, suffering severe magical backlash.
anwhile, the physical-type strong persons could only watch anxiously as the cracks on the Barrier Wall above their heads spread rapidly, powerless. While attending to the fallen magicians, they were also preparing to fight desperately, each with a resolve unto death.
All knew clearly that once the Barrier Wall was broken, our side would soon be utterly destroyed.
Though everyone strove to hide it, a sense of despair still spread quickly among our formations, much like the cracked Barrier Wall above.
“Hahaha, those ants are about to crumble!”
In front of the densely-packed Undead Army, the gray-robed Witch Demon’s gaunt face twisted into a grin and, laughing wildly, he said, “Keep that Emperor of the Human Race for , I want him as my servant!”
“Hehe, that Snake Chief from the Desert Alliance will be mine!”
“I’ll reluctantly take that little lion from the Rainforest Fortress Alliance, haha!”
“Don’t fight with later, I’ve long wished to turn that Water Elf leader into a dead spirit!”
“I heard there’s also a Queen of Coldfla City beside the Human Emperor, I’m quite interested in her, you guys can have the rest!”
Upon hearing this, the other Witch Demons all eagerly anticipated the fray, a playful look on their faces.
Without scruple, while pouring out all their firepower, the Witch Demons commanded their undead minions to attack wildly, so even kicked and stomped, laughing wildly.
“Ants are ants, it seems that I, the leader, overthought it.”
On the city wall of Forest White Giant City, the Witch Demon Leader looked down with disdain at the formation of our side on the verge of destruction, and turned to walk towards the inside of the city.
But just as the Witch Demon Leader took a step, our previously black-fog-shrouded formation suddenly emanated a golden energy wave, bursting out and rapidly spreading around, highly conspicuous in the thick black fog.
The movent of that golden energy wave was incredibly fast, vanishing beyond the horizon in the blink of an eye, still emanating.
“What’s going on? What was that just now?”
Faced with this abrupt change, the Witch Demons checked themselves quickly but found no harm.
“Heh, seems like it’s just the Emperor of the Human Race bluffing!”
The gray-robed Witch Demon sneered, his face full of scorn, “Continue the attack, grind those ants into bone dust!”
Hearing this, the other Witch Demons also cald themselves and focused once more on the army formation that was just one step away from collapse.
But just as the Witch Demons were about to unleash another violent output, they found that many dead spirits around them had inexplicably slipped from their control, their skeletal bodies glowing with golden markings.
