With a sinister voice, the already enraged Parasites roared, charging fiercely like hungry wolves from all directions.
In the blink of an eye, they carried their overwhelming killing intent right in front of the powerhouses!
Directly opposite, Zhen, Rorick, and other physical-type elven powerhouses showed no hesitation, either brandishing their Shadow Short Blades or swapping their Elf Bows for Elf Swords, fiercely clashing with the enemies.
The magical-type elven powerhouses either summoned Golem Puppets or chanted loudly, engaging the incoming magical-type Parasites intensely.
As for our powerhouses, they all faced the slightly weaker half-step Tier 7 Parasites, battling fiercely with the sound of energy clashes and weapon collisions resounding everywhere.
Feeling the imnse pressure from the Parasites, the powerhouses couldn't help but feel a slight sense of relief.
Thankfully, they were transported to the side of Your Majesty of the Humans, or else they would be in grave danger.
At the heart of the group, Leo Ray unleashed shared power to the fullest, while casting Thunder Strike to support our frontline powerhouses.
As the battle intensified, Leo Ray's brow furrowed deeply.
By now, the situation was clear enough.
This Shadow Market of The Brotherhood was a gigantic conspiracy. From the mont we stepped in, we walked into a ticulously set trap, even though we hadn't been caught in their net.
It's conceivable, given the number of Parasites here, that other distinguished guests encountered similar situations, possibly separated to disperse their combat power.
"But since arriving at this Shadow Market, I haven't heard any other fighting, could it be that the Blocking Barrier divides the Shadow Market into small sectors? For the Land of Divine Favor, this is indeed very easy."
Thinking of this, a trace of worry surfaced on Leo Ray's face.
There were still so powerhouses and many soon-to-join independent powerhouses not by his side, including Moli; their current situation was unclear.
However, thinking carefully, although the Light Elves and Dark Elves weren't accompanied by Stone Spirits, both the Silver Maple Forest Guardian and Mirror Lake Singer, and Helena with Moli had demigod-level Stone Spirits with them, including the Dwarf powerhouses and Aaron.
Even if they couldn't share the power to fight the Parasites, at least they wouldn't be powerless. Furthermore, Moli and so of our powerhouses were equipped with Divine Stone Weapons, enough to protect themselves in crisis.

This Seventh Stage Longsword not only sliced through iron like butter but was also adorned with several top-grade Magic Gems on its hilt, crafted with superior Magical Craftsmanship, enhancing thunder attribute attacks, and even speeding up Spell casting, rivaling an ordinary Seventh Stage Magic Wand. It saved the trouble of switching between wands and swords.
As the battle beca more intense, their previously organized formation inevitably began to loosen; despite Leo Ray noticing this and repeatedly reminding the powerhouses to gather, the effect was extrely limited.
Firstly, the Parasites' onslaught was overwhelmingly fierce, leaving most powerhouses struggling.
Secondly, our formation was composed of powerhouses under Leo Ray, independent powerhouses, Light Elves, and Dark Elves, unfamiliar with each other, especially the latter two, who hardly ever fought side by side, using different battle styles. Maintaining the lines was already a considerable task.
In contrast, the Parasites were far more tightly coordinated, quickly erasing any advantage we had accumulated.

Noticing sharply, both Zhen and Rorick, as well as other Elf Demigods, felt a chill down their spines but were helpless.
Leo Ray's importance was undeniable, but they all were tied down by Demigod Parasites, unable to assist. If anything happened to him, it would be ga over!
As the Broken Ear Parasite closed in, only a step away from Leo Ray, a despair erged in the eyes of the elven powerhouses and the independent powerhouses alike.
Your Majesty's power, though remarkable, was only half-step Tier 7, facing a Demigod Parasite. The disparity in their levels was insurmountable!
Thinking this over, especially Zhen and Rorick among others, a deep hopelessness engulfed them.
The young Human Emperor's series of performances had exceeded expectations, even earning so respect.
But after all, he was only from a second-tier power, and reached half-step Tier 7 as his limit. How could he possibly deal with an authentic Demigod? Moreover, one more ruthless as a Parasite?
"Die, human ant!"
The Broken Ear Parasite's blade flashed with shadow, bringing a towering montum that pressed towards Leo Ray like a mountain: "Shadow Annihilation!"
Leo Ray remained in place, making no defensive moves.
Seeing this, despair deepened in everyone's hearts, hope seed entirely crushed.

A crisp, resolute voice rang out, a tall, graceful figure wielded a Longsword, surging forward with thunderous montum to et the deadly blade.
With an arc slice like an eclipse, light and darkness intertwined, ripping through space, directly knocking the formidable Broken Ear Parasite back several steps!
"This, who is this…?!"
Seeing this, not only the Broken Ear Parasite, but even Zhen, Rorick, and other elven powerhouses widened their eyes in disbelief.
A powerhouse who could repel a Demigod was undoubtedly another Demigod, and this sudden Demigod powerhouse seed to always follow silently by Leo Ray's side!
