As soon as Nellie finished speaking, Jordan couldn’t help but speak up,
"This is the Great Shaw Empire, not your Wycliffe Family. And besides, our strength isn’t bad. You’re just looking down on us too much."
Jordan wasn’t a Mythic Rank Reclasser, but he was the second place in last year’s National College Testing.
He believed in his own strength. If it wasn’t for the Global Reclasser Exchange Competition, his level would already be over 55.
"Hmph, I knew you wouldn’t believe . The strength of the Wycliffe Family is sothing you can’t even imagine. We just haven’t shown it before because we’ve been isolated," Nellie said, looking at Jordan with a sneer.
There was a big difference between geniuses, and even between Mythic Rank Reclassers.
She had seen the files on Jade and Victor. Even after knowing they were a Divine-Eyed Swordsman and a Fearless Warrior, she still felt confident.
As for Jordan, Cici, and Vespera, who were all Legendary Rank, she didn’t even pay them any attention.
To others, a Legendary Rank Reclasser was a strong genius. But to Nellie, they were weak.
"Your chance is here. If you want to be the leader, show your strength. Otherwise, I won’t follow your orders," Nellie said, crossing her arms behind her head and looking relaxed.
Victor and Jade imdiately frowned, while Jordan took a deep breath, stretched his neck, and said excitedly,
"Okay! Let test you. How strong are you really?"
Nellie slowly lifted her chin and looked at Jordan with a sneer. "Co on. You’ll soon find out how big the gap is between us."
"Unless you all fight at once, I won’t lose."
Nellie slowly looked around at everyone, her eyes full of confidence and pride.
Finally, her eyes landed on Aiden. She said,
"I’m actually curious about you. From what I know, the Magic Apprentice class is the weakest. But you still beca the top in the Great Shaw Empire’s College Testing."
"If you want to be the leader, just survive my attack for two minutes. That’s all it takes to earn my respect."
Nellie still didn’t forget what happened yesterday.
This Aiden guy just said a few words, and she ended up giving away a lot of information.
At the ti, Gareth had praised Aiden, which made Nellie feel annoyed.
In her eyes, Aiden’s smarts were just small tricks.
Real power was what mattered.
And Aiden’s class was just a Magic Apprentice. Even if it was Epic Rank, it still didn’t an much.
At that mont, Nellie saw Aiden frown.
"Getting your approval? Are you soone important to ?"
Aiden was annoyed. Nellie’s words were too arrogant.
He had only t Nellie once at the Reclasser Association yesterday, and she already said sothing about earning her approval.
It was completely ridiculous.
Seems like even hidden families have people who look normal but are a little crazy.
"Soone with a ssed-up mind can’t be the leader," Aiden thought.
After all, this Global Reclasser Exchange Competition was very important to him.
If Nellie was really a genius who could lead the Great Shaw Empire to the top, Aiden would be happy.
It would make things easier for him and give him ti for other things.
But right now, Aiden felt Nellie wasn’t the right person to be the leader.
"Did I say sothing wrong? If it wasn’t for Uncle Gareth praising you, I wouldn’t have said that," Nellie said.
She thought for a mont, then smiled slightly and continued:
"Are you really not even able to last two minutes?"
"Relax, I won’t use all my power right away. You don’t have to worry about getting hurt."
Aiden took a deep breath and asked slowly, "What would you do if you really beca the leader?"
Nellie didn’t even think before answering, "What do you an, what would I do? With around, the championship of the Global Reclasser Exchange Competition will definitely belong to the Great Shaw Empire."
"You don’t have to do anything. Just don’t make things harder for ."
After hearing Nellie’s answer, Aiden didn’t hesitate. He shook his head.
"You’re not fit to be the leader. You’re too confident. Too dumb."
"Dumb?"
Nellie’s eyes widened. She stared at Aiden and shouted, "You called dumb?"
"Then I ask you, what good is being smart if you don’t have strong power behind it?"
"Sure, there are other hidden families in the competition, but they won’t be a match for ."
"Isn’t it better for you to just follow and win?"
Aiden took a step forward, his face calm as he said, "Okay. If you can last one minute under my attack, I’ll accept you as the leader."
His words were almost the sa as what Nellie had said earlier, but he shortened the ti to just one minute.
Aiden’s skill cooldowns were short. One minute was enough for him to use all his strongest moves.
Plus, his four stats had improved so much. He wanted to test his strength now.
"One minute? Are you joking?"
"Or are you just saying that because I guessed your worry?" Nellie’s eyes widened.
Even among the young mbers of the Wycliffe Family, few could beat her in one minute.
Aiden definitely couldn’t!
She took a deep breath, raised her right hand, and waved it toward Aiden.
"Co on. Let see your strength."
"A real genius is sothing you can’t even imagine!"
As soon as she finished speaking, a white round light appeared around Nellie.
Each one was about the size of an egg, floating around her.
Seeing this, Jordan imdiately said, "Wait, let go first. I haven’t fought in a long ti."
He was really annoyed by what Nellie had said earlier, and he wouldn’t miss this chance.
At that mont, a voice from outside the training area called out,
"The Emperor is here!"
Everyone in the training area turned to look outside.
Empress Eira, Gareth, and Jas slowly walked in.
Gareth was talking to Eira as they walked, and she nodded.
"Maybe the Emperor is going to make Nellie the leader?" Jordan frowned and muttered to himself.
"Hmph, isn’t that obvious? Your strength isn’t good enough. Only I have the right to be the leader," Nellie said, lifting her chin.
Soon, Eira, Jas, and Gareth ca up to the group.
"What’s going on?" Gareth looked at the lights around Nellie and frowned.
Nellie looked at Aiden and said, "Nothing much. I just wanted to show soone that we Wycliffe Family’s top Reclassers are strong."
Hearing this, Gareth’s frown deepened.
From what he knew about Nellie, he could guess what had happened.
But Gareth didn’t want to get involved. He still had confidence in Nellie.
Among the young people of the Great Shaw Empire, no one should be able to beat her.
Victor and Jade were the sa.
Gareth’s only worry was that if Nellie fought too hard, she might hurt one of the Great Shaw Empire’s top Reclassers.
"Okay, you young people get excited easily. So fights are normal," Gareth said slowly.
Empress Eira looked at him briefly, then turned her eyes to the young people present.
When her gaze landed on Aiden, she stopped for a mont.
"Today I called you all here to help you get to know each other better."
"Who will be the leader? and Gareth have already decided."
"Aiden, you will be the leader," Eira said slowly.
Right away, Jade and Victor sighed in relief.
But Nellie was surprised. She said, "Aiden as leader? His strength isn’t good enough. I..."
She didn’t finish her sentence before Gareth spoke up.
"Nellie, Aiden is the best choice. I already talked to the Empress about it."
Nellie shook her head and said, "No way. I won’t follow a weak leader."
Empress Eira frowned.
She had heard that other hidden families would also take part in the Global Reclasser Exchange Competition. She was worried that Aiden and his group might not be strong enough to beat them.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have agreed to let Nellie join the team.
"Aiden isn’t weak. He is the best choice for leader," Eira said calmly.
After all, the White City incident showed that Aiden was really good at strategy.
"Whether he’s weak or not, we’ll see!" Nellie turned to look at Aiden.
Aiden didn’t say anything. He just pulled out a Legendary Rank staff.
Right away, Gareth’s eyes landed on the staff and he gasped,
"A Legendary Rank staff?"
Everyone in the room looked at Aiden’s staff—the Abyssthe Fla Demon.
So people knew it was the staff Aiden had asked Sean to fix before.
Aiden stayed calm as he looked at Nellie and said,
"A Legendary Rank staff? You’re a genius from a hidden family, so you probably have one too, right?"
