As soon as Aiden spoke those words, every genius and every Mythic Rank Demon genius in the arena thought the exact sa thing.
Even Gaunt Demon Raphael’s face turned bright red.
Throwing a sword into the air and having it fall back down takes only a split second!
By saying that, Aiden was openly insulting them!
"Damn it! You are just a worthless, lowly human! Any creature in the Abyss is stronger than you!"
"If it weren’t for other races in the Abyss, humans would already be our demons’ slaves!"
"Aiden, you will pay the price for your arrogance!" Raphael roared.
In an instant, Raphael vanished from his spot. At the sa ti, the closest controlled contestant from the Amaranth Country disappeared.
Raphael had instantly swapped places with that contestant, then unleashed his full speed, charging at Aiden like a madman.
His arm stretched out rapidly, and his black nails grew fast and sharp, looking like a handful of tiny daggers.
"Beliar!" Even in his rage, Raphael didn’t forget the plan.
Gno Demon Beliar didn’t hesitate. He held his breath and cast his ability on Aiden.
"Dark Illusion!"Beliar’s massive head swelled up quickly again.
Dark Illusion was his favorite skill. It trapped the target in endless darkness, stripping away all their sight.
When Raphael attacked next, Aiden would have no way to dodge.
"Loros!" Raphael’s voice rang out again.
Vine Demon Loros took a deep breath and plunged his arm straight into the earth.
Imdiately, countless black vines burrowed underground, speeding toward Aiden’s position.
And Insect Demon Draw? He didn’t even wait for Raphael to shout. He simply dove into the ground himself.
The four Mythic Rank Demon geniuses struck at once, launching a full-scale assault on Aiden.
Right then, every single viewer watching the live stream instinctively held their breath, staring at the screen in absolute terror.
The number of people in the stream was growing so fast it was off the charts.
Yet, not a single one of those millions of viewers sent a single comnt or emoji!
For a mont, the entire Earth seed to fall silent.
All eyes on the globe were locked onto Aiden, the last hope of humanity.
"Co on, Aiden! You have to survive!"
"We can win! We’re going to win!"
"Humans aren’t that fragile! No matter how strong the Demons are, we will defeat them!"
"Aiden, if you win, I’ll worship you for the rest of my life! You’re my hero, my idol!"Millions of viewers thought these words in their hearts.
At this mont, Aiden’s vision went black first. Everything around him plunged into darkness; he could see nothing.
But he didn’t panic at all. His powerful Spirit allowed him to sense Gaunt Demon Raphael’s exact position with perfect clarity.
The sound of footsteps, heavy breathing, heartbeats, and the sudden crunch of soil underfoot... every single detail was locked in Aiden’s senses.
Without a mont’s hesitation, Aiden spent 20% of his mana and 20% of his health to activate the King of Flas effect of the Abyss Fla Demon staff.
Imdiately, he cast Shadow Stealth, slipping into the shadows.
"Having broken free from the shadows, my first release is a skill imbued with Shadow Affinity, increasing its power by 20%; combined with the damage boost from the Bane of All Races ring, it should be enough to one-shot a Demon genius with low health." Aiden’s mind raced as he calculated.
He didn’t hesitate for a second. Using the speed buffs from King of Flas, Shadow Stealth, and his Blackfire Cloak, he zipped through the shadows like lightning.
In the blink of an eye, he was right next to Gno Demon Beliar!
"Danger!" Raphael realized Aiden’s target and instinctively spun around, screaming a warning to Beliar.
Beliar’s face went pale instantly. Without a second thought, he unleashed his survival skill.
"Virtual Phantasm!"
Invisible ripples spread through the air around him. In a flash, his figure split into thirteen clones, scattering in different directions to run for their lives!
"There shouldn’t be any danger now," Beliar thought. "Aiden never saw that coming. All the ones running away are just phantoms! The real is still standing here, invisible!"
"He probably hasn’t noticed yet," Beliar convinced himself, freezing in place. "By the ti he moves, he’ll chase those phantoms instead."
Virtual Phantasm had fooled enemies many tis before; surely, it would work again.
Just as Beliar was thinking this, he caught sight of Raphael’s terrified eyes staring right at him.
"What’s wrong? Why is that guy Raphael looking at like that?"
"Wait... he’s looking behind !" Beliar’s pupils shrank to the size of pinpoints.
Stiffly turning his head, he looked back.
Before he knew it, Aiden was already standing right behind him!
"How fast? He was gone one second and then right here the next! How is he moving that fast?" Beliar’s mind went blank.
His instinct scread to run, but his logic told him Aiden probably hadn’t spotted him yet.
Just as Raphael sprinted toward them, the staff in Aiden’s hand suddenly glowed brightly.
Dozens of elental arrows materialized in mid-air instantly, aiming straight for the fleeing fake "Beliar" clones.
Seeing this, Beliar let out a huge sigh of relief. "He really didn’t see ," he thought, his heart slowing down. "If he had been even a split second faster—if he’d reached before I could cast Virtual Phantasm—he would have seen my invisibility. Luckily..."
"Luckily, my luck is still on my side..."
But just as that thought ford, Beliar saw a sneer curling across Aiden’s lips.
A cold, killing intent pierced through the shadows, locking directly onto Beliar’s true position.
In an instant, those powerful arrows swerved mid-air and sped straight toward him.
"He knew where I was this whole ti!" Beliar’s eyes bulged in panic, his body trembling uncontrollably.
Without hesitation, he broke his invisibility and sprinted frantically toward Raphael.
"Save !" Beliar stretched out his thin arm toward Raphael.
But before he could even move a ter, the elental arrows struck. They buried themselves deep into his massive head with terrifying speed.
Thud!
Beliar hit the ground, twitching violently as he let out a soul-chilling scream.
"My head! It hurts so much!" he cried, writhing in agony.
"Save ! Hurry, save !"
"Please, just stop..." Beliar’s pleas were cut short the mont a crushing force slamd onto his back.
He turned his head in sheer horror to see Aiden standing right there, his boot firmly planted on Beliar’s back.
"Third one down," Aiden said with a smirk, looking down from above.
Beliar stared at Aiden’s smile and sank into an endless abyss of despair.
In the face of death, he decided that Aiden’s grin was the most terrifying thing he had ever seen.
"Please spare , I don’t want to..." Beliar started to beg, but before he could finish, he felt Aiden’s foot lift off his back.
A flicker of hope ignited in Beliar’s eyes.
But then, in the next second, he saw Aiden’s sole descending again.
CRACK!
A heavy thud echoed through the arena.
Aiden’s boot stomped down hard on Beliar’s giant head.
Because the soil was soft, it absorbed so of the impact, but Beliar’s head was still driven deep into the ground. He wasn’t dead yet.
"Again!" Aiden didn’t hesitate. He lifted his foot and prepared to bring it down once more.
Lift. Stomp.
Lift. Stomp.
Lift. Stomp.
With every crushing blow, Beliar’s head was driven deeper into the soil.
The sheer force of the Strength behind those kicks packed the loose earth tighter, turning it as hard as stone.
"Stop it!" Gaunt Demon Raphael roared, his eyes burning red with pure rage.
Aiden paused, his leg hovering for just a split second. He cast a cold, casual glance at Raphael, who was now sprinting toward them.
Aiden smirked. "What? Do you want to experience this end yourself?"
"Nah, we stuck to the original plan," he said, his voice calm. "I’ll cut you open, rip out your heart, and leave you to bleed."
Ultimate Frost!
Boom!
A wall of deadly ice erupted around Raphael. Because the black fire was swirling around Aiden, his skill range had increased significantly.
Imdiately after releasing Ultimate Frost, Aiden turned back and stomped down on Beliar’s head one more ti.
Crack!
Splat!
The sound of splintering bone mixed with the spray of blood.
A few drops of blood splattered across Aiden’s face. He slowly lifted his foot, looking down at the blood and brains under his sole with a look of disgust.
"Three Mythic Rank Demon geniuses down," Aiden said, reaching up to wipe the blood from his face. "Who’s going to be number four?"
Vine Demon Loros watched the blood-soaked Aiden and started trembling uncontrollably. "You... you are the real Demon!" he stamred.
"Raphael, let’s run!"
Before Loros could take another step, Aiden snapped his head toward him.
"You want to run?" Aiden asked with a cruel smile. "That’s not happening."
"I still need to kill a few more Mythic Rank Demon geniuses, after all."
Instantly, smoky black wings burst from Aiden’s back. A dense cloud of black smoke swirled around him, slowly dissipating into the air.
The blood on his face, his icy stare, the corpse of the Gno Demon, his massive smoky black wings, and the fluttering Blackfire Cloak made Aiden look absolutely terrifyingly dominant.
Without a second thought, Demon Loros spun around and fled into the distance!
BOOM!
A shockwave ripped through the ground. Aiden’s figure shot forward like lightning, closing the gap to Loros in an instant.
