Aiden stood on the ground, staring into the distance.
His eyes trembled, his mouth slightly open, a look of pure shock frozen on his face as he gazed at the sky.
The once normal sky was now split between darkness and light.
One half was as black as night, radiating endless evil and chaos.
The other half shone like broad daylight.
"This is a battle between a Demon God and a divine powerhouse," Robert said, standing beside Aiden with a complex expression. "Aiden, watch closely. Maybe you can learn sothing from it."
Even in the most dangerous monts earlier, Robert had nearly intervened, wanting to pull Aiden out of the front line.
But when he saw the calm look in Aiden’s eyes, he forced himself back and waited in the shadows instead.
The final result had completely surprised him.
Without the Abyss Mid-Tier Demon God, Theodore, all three Mythic Rank Demon geniuses would have been killed by Aiden.
"Did I miss all of Aiden’s power before, or has his strength surged so massively in just a few days?" Robert thought to himself. "Either way, it’s terrifying. No wonder the Demons call him a monster."
He had never seen a genius like Aiden. Or rather, he had seen one.
There was one!
Lord Bella, currently the strongest divine powerhouse in human history.
Thinking of this, Robert looked up at the sky, letting out a sigh.
"If Lord Bella appeared in person, the Mid-Tier Demon God Theodore would already be dead."
Hearing this, Aiden imdiately turned to look at Robert, curiosity flooding his face.
He vaguely rembered Gareth ntioning a Mid-Tier Demon God before.
Robert quickly explained that divine powerhouse also had their own rank system.
A Great Venerable at level 99 could only open the the divine ascension tribulation once their soul strength was high enough and they mastered a specific Force of Laws. Only by surviving the divine ascension tribulation could they truly beco a divine powerhouse.
From what he knew, divine powerhouse were divided into Lower divine powerhouse, Interdiate divine powerhouse, Greater Divine powerhouse, and the Supre God of the Legendary tier.
As for higher ranks, he wasn’t entirely sure.
Hearing this, Aiden imdiately thought of the rank system in the Abyss race, which included common the Abyss race mbers, King rank the Abyss race, and so on.
Could there be a connection between the King rank the Abyss race and the so-called Supre God?
Just as Aiden was about to ask more, his body suddenly began to tremble uncontrollably.
A wave of destructive energy suddenly erupted from the battlefield where the Demon God and divine powerhouse were fighting.
It was silent. Quiet. Heavy and suffocating.
Every person and every creature nearby fell completely silent. Even the chirping of insects and the songs of birds vanished into nothingness.
At this mont, Aiden felt as if a sharp scythe was pressing against his neck. Just a slight movent would sever his head and end his life instantly.
Even though he kept telling himself he was far away from the battlefield and perfectly safe, his body still trembled with primal fear.
Suddenly, the sky in the distance shattered. It broke into countless black fragnts that drifted quietly in the air.
Then, an indescribable gray-white substance began to pour out from those fragnts, consuming everything around it.
"What is that?" Aiden asked, unable to hold back his curiosity.
Robert’s face turned grave as he replied quickly:
"That’s the Void. Earth is currently not strong enough to withstand a battle between divine powerhouse. This fight will likely end very soon."
The Void?
Aiden was shocked.
He had seriously underestimated the Strength of the Abyss Demon God and the human gods. They were so powerful that they could even overwhelm the planet itself.
No wonder divine powerhouse were rarely seen in any of the countries on Earth.
"Did our divine powerhouse win?" Aiden asked again.
Right now, he could only see the darkness and light in the sky, plus that incomprehensible Void.
He had no way of telling whether the Abyss Demon God was in the lead or if the human divine powerhouse had the advantage.
Robert didn’t even need to look at the distance before he answered firmly:
"Don’t worry. Even though this is just the Radiant Blade incarnation of Lord Bella, we are going to win."
"However, that Mid-Tier Demon God nad Theodore probably won’t die."
"Because once soone becos a Demon God, they can’t truly die even if only a fragnt of their corpse or a Wraithshard remains. As long as there is enough material and ti, they can fully recover."
As soon as he finished speaking, the darkness in the sky suddenly vanished, and the weather cleared up.
Imdiately after, a heavy black rain began to pour from the sky.
Aiden looked up at the sky in surprise. He had never seen black rain before.
"Quick! Everyone close your eyes and hold your breath! Try to feel the aning inside this black rain!" Robert shouted excitedly.
The other contestants looked around, confused. They didn’t understand why they should do that. The rain clearly felt dark and ominous.
"Hurry up! If you miss this chance, you might never get another one!"
"This isn’t just rain. It’s the energy leaking from the wounded Mid-Tier Demon God, filled with a tiny bit of Force of Laws!"
When Robert saw that no one was listening, he got frantic. He shouted louder.
Most of the contestants didn’t even know what Force of Laws was.
But seeing the desperation on Robert’s face, they stopped hesitating. They closed their eyes and began to feel.
Aiden did the sa. He shut his eyes and let the black rain hit his body.
His strong Spirit ability imdiately told him sothing was wrong. The mont the rain touched his skin, it turned into pure energy.
"So powerful and dark... yet hidden within it is a rule I can’t understand yet... Is this Force of Laws?" Aiden thought to himself.
He could sense the existence of Force of Laws, but he couldn’t truly understand it. It was beyond his imagination.
It was like a person who had never gone to school staring at advanced math equations filled with strange symbols and numbers. They wouldn’t recognize what any of it ant.
So, what should they do?
Of course, study!
Aiden didn’t lose heart. He started observing everything around him, watching how the weak Force of Laws inside the black rain interacted with the environnt...
Very quickly, Aiden was completely imrsed in the experience.
anwhile, Robert watched as one genius after another opened their eyes with a dazed look on their faces.
But when these contestants checked their status logs, their confusion instantly turned into shock and excitent.
"Damn! My Spirit attribute just went up by 100 points!" they shouted.
"I increased by 150 points!"
"Why did yours go up so much? That’s 50 more than mine!"
"I guess I just lasted a bit longer. It seems the longer you persist, the more your Spirit grows. If I’d known that, I definitely would have pushed through longer."
Unlike the excited contestants, Robert looked a bit discouraged.
He let out a long sigh and muttered to himself:
"Their soul strength must be too low to feel the Force of Laws."
"But that’s normal. After all, that kind of Strength is only for divine powerhouse."
"Still, making them try like this is our only shot at giving them even a tiny chance to beco divine powerhouse soday. It’s a faint hope, but better than nothing."
As ti ticked by, almost all the genius contestants gave up.
Robert’s disappointnt grew deeper with every passing second.
"Only Aiden is left," Robert said, turning his gaze to Aiden with a glimr of hope.
His biggest wish now was for Aiden to actually sense the Force of Laws.
Even if the Dark Law wasn’t a perfect fit for humans, all Force of Laws shared so common ground.
"Lord Robert, why hasn’t Captain woken up yet?" Victor asked, his face bright with excitent after his Spirit had jumped by five hundred points.
Robert thought for a mont and replied:
"Aiden’s soul strength is probably a bit higher than yours. He’s still trying to sense the Force of Laws."
"As expected of our captain! I guess his Spirit will go up by eight or nine hundred points soon," Victor remarked with admiration.
The more ti Victor spent with Aiden, the more he realized how far apart they really were. It wasn’t just about combat power; in every aspect, Aiden was simply on another level.
Yet, even with this gap, Victor still held onto a secret wish: to find the perfect mont and challenge Aiden to a real fight.
Two more minutes passed. Suddenly, Robert saw Aiden snap his eyes open.
"Hmph, he made it to the end, but for how long? It was still too short," Robert thought to himself. "If he could have held on just a bit longer, he surely would have sensed the Force of Laws." But he said nothing, choosing to watch silently.
Aiden hadn’t noticed Robert’s expression. His entire focus was locked on his status log.

A stream of notifications kept flashing up in the log. Aiden scrolled straight to the bottom.
[You have barely sensed a drop of dark Force of Laws.]
[Dark Force of Laws Comprehension: 3.678%]
"Only 3.678%? That’s so low!" Aiden frowned, muttering under his breath.
"What do you an 3.678%?" Robert heard him and snapped his head around. His eyes widened as he stared hard at Aiden.
Aiden didn’t think much of it and answered casually: "The comprehension level of the Force of Laws, of course."
"I thought it would be way higher. I can’t believe it’s only 3.678%."
