When Robert saw Bella, The Fla God Ignis, and Kenneth standing beside Graham in the sky, his expression instantly relaxed.
"What’s going on? What happened?" The Fla God Ignis asked first.
Robert glanced at Bella, then quickly shook his head. "Nothing urgent."
The Fla God Ignis frowned slightly but didn’t press further.
He wasn’t stupid; he could tell Robert had sothing important to report to Bella. He just hadn’t said it yet because Ignis was standing right there.
Just then, Robert also noticed the strange atmosphere at the scene.
Especially the look on Alexius’s face, as if he had just seen sothing he couldn’t believe.
"Strange. I’ve never seen Alexius look like this before. What’s going on?" Robert walked over to Graham and whispered.
Alexius was famous for his talent; among all the divine powerhouse’s students, he was only second to Selene. In the past, other students had looked at him with such expressions.
Graham whispered a few words, and Robert imdiately understood what had happened.
He couldn’t help but shift his gaze to Aiden, let out a long sigh, and said:
"Alexius isn’t to bla. When I first realized Aiden had actually sensed the Dark Force of Laws, I was just as shocked."
"Keep interacting with Aiden more, and Alexius won’t react this way next ti."
Hearing this, Alexius, The Fla God Ignis, and Kenneth all turned their eyes to Robert at once.
"What did you just say? Aiden also sensed the Dark Force of Laws?" Alexius widened his eyes, staring fixedly at Robert.
Robert instinctively glanced at Graham and asked in confusion, "Didn’t I explain it clearly just now?"
Graham shook his head slightly, speaking with a helpless tone. "I hadn’t even finished my sentence yet. I just ntioned that Aiden sensed the Killing Force of Laws when my teacher couldn’t wait any longer."
"It’s not my fault; I never got the chance to finish."
Kenneth didn’t care about Graham’s complaint. His face twisted in disbelief as he instantly teleported in front of Aiden, staring at him intently.
"You not only sensed the Killing Force of Laws but also the Dark Force of Laws?" Kenneth asked, unable to hold back his shock.
Even for soone known as the Martial God among other Reclassers, he found it hard to believe.
Aiden nodded calmly. Facts were facts; sensing the Dark Force of Laws and the Killing Force of Laws wasn’t exactly difficult for him.
So, he showed little emotion on his face.
"No... that’s impossible! Even with a soul stone, his soul strength couldn’t possibly be that high!"
"Unless he used so special thod to boost his soul strength, like... torturing and sacrificing innocent children to absorb their souls!" Alexius suddenly thought of this possibility, and the shock in his eyes quickly vanished.
His eyebrows knitted together tightly, and his expression turned to extre disgust as he stared fixedly at Aiden.
Graham and Robert were stunned for a mont. They instinctively glanced at each other, both seeing uncertainty in the other’s eyes.
"It can’t be," Robert said, taking a deep breath. "Aiden once led the Reclassers of the White City in the Great Shaw Empire to resist the Abyss invasion. He is a hero of the Great Shaw Empire and was awarded the Elephant Empire’s Blood Beast dal. How could soone like him be so cruel, using innocent children to boost his soul strength?"
Alexius sneered coldly. "So what? Even heroes can fall when faced with temptation."
"Besides, this is the only way to explain why his soul strength is so powerful that he could sense both the Killing Force of Laws and the Dark Force of Laws at level 50!"
The atmosphere instantly grew heavy.
The talented contestants around looked confused, having no idea what was going on.
To boost soul strength by absorbing the souls of innocent children?
Would Aiden really do such a thing?
While the other talented contestants were still confused, Victor took a deep breath and spoke without hesitation:
"The Captain would never do sothing like that! Never!"
At the sa ti, Jordan, Cici, Jade, and Nellie all nodded in agreent, showing their trust in Aiden.
However, upon seeing their reaction, Alexius only sneered disdainfully.
"Co on," he said coolly. "There are plenty of Reclassers who will do whatever it takes to get stronger. And as for your trust, I don’t think it holds any value at all!"
Then, Alexius quickly turned to look up at The Fla God Ignis and Bella in the sky. He bowed again respectfully and said seriously:
"Lord Bella, Teacher, I suggest we detain Aiden temporarily and conduct a thorough investigation!"
Hearing Alexius’s words, Aiden’s eyebrows imdiately furrowed. Was this an attempt to restrict his freedom?
And even if they investigated, who knew how long it would take to find the truth?
"Did you misunderstand sothing?" Aiden asked, looking at Alexius with pure contempt as he spoke slowly.
Alexius paused, montarily stunned. He carefully replayed his words in his mind but realized he hadn’t missed anything.
"So, you’re trying to change the subject? Aiden, with my teacher and Lord Bella here, you can’t hide the cris you’ve committed!" Alexius said with a stern expression.
He felt that Aiden’s reaction was a sign of guilt.
Aiden took a deep breath, looking at Alexius as if he were a fool.
"You suspect I hard innocent children and used evil thods to boost my soul strength, so you want to restrict ?"
"Shouldn’t the person making the accusation provide the proof?"
"Where is your evidence?"
"Is your so-called ’evidence’ just your opinion? Your guess?" Aiden took a few steps toward Alexius, his voice growing louder and more intense with every word.
Alexius didn’t back down. He took two steps forward to confront Aiden directly.
"Is there a problem? If you didn’t use that evil thod to boost your soul strength, how could you have sensed two Forces of Laws?"
"Your soul strength is the evidence!" Alexius retorted.
Aiden was almost laughing from anger.
What kind of evidence was that?
"Enough."Just then, Bella’s cold voice rang out from the sky.
The atmosphere instantly went silent; no one dared to speak another word.
Bella gave Alexius a cold glance, and Alexius imdiately lowered his head.
She spoke slowly. "Ordinary thods cannot tell if a Reclasser used evil ans to boost their soul strength. I do have other ways, but they would damage Aiden’s soul."
"Alexius, if you truly believe Aiden is guilty, you can go to the Great Shaw Empire or the Elephant Empire to investigate right now."
"When you find enough proof, Aiden won’t escape judgnt. But until then, no one is allowed to restrict Aiden’s freedom or slander him."
Alexius shot his head up, his mouth twitching, his expression full of unwillingness.
He looked over at his teacher, The Fla God Ignis.
Ignis silently tossed the coconut behind him and spoke calmly.
"Alexius’s suspicion isn’t entirely without reason. It has never happened before for a level 50 Reclasser to sense two Forces of Laws."
"In my opinion, the best way is to investigate right here and now. Once we confirm Aiden is completely innocent, no one will care about this issue anymore."
Bella slowly turned her head and gave The Fla God Ignis a calm look.
Ignis didn’t even flinch, staring back at Bella with a steady gaze.
After about a second, Bella spoke again:
"I told you, that thod would damage Aiden’s soul. And Aiden is right: the one who accuses must provide the proof."
"Let this matter end here. The contestants need so rest now. They have important things to do tomorrow."
Bella hadn’t expected things to turn out this way. If it were any other talented Reclasser, she might have had her doubts.
But Aiden was too special. He had exposed Wraith Goust’s conspiracy and even received special treatnt from Wraith Jack.
She had also reviewed all of Aiden’s files and truly believed he would never do such a thing.
"Wait," Aiden suddenly spoke up. "I think what Alexius and his teacher said has so rit, even if just a little."
Everyone in the crowd imdiately turned to look at him.
"Doesn’t Aiden get it? Lord Bella already made her decision. If he stays quiet, this whole thing is settled."
"Exactly. If it were , I’d keep my mouth shut."
"I’m really confused. Why would Aiden say sothing like that?"
"Could it be that he has proof to clear his na?"
"Why didn’t I think of that? Maybe Aiden really has powerful evidence!"
"Really? If he does, I’d love to see the look on Alexius’s face now."
"Sigh, is this the burden of being a genius? Why doesn’t anyone doubt ?"
Amidst the murmurs of the contestants, Aiden gave Alexius a calm, flat look and said slowly:
"I don’t like you at all."
"I haven’t spent much ti with you, but I can already tell you’re the type who can’t stand it when soone else is better than you."
"How about this? If I can prove my innocence, you’ll give a fragnt of the Mysterious Treasure Map as compensation?"
