Aiden left the The White City Reclasser Association.
Upgrading his professional tier was extrely important for a Reclasser, and he couldn’t be disturbed.
He directly went to the front of the highest-level hotel in The White City. Just as he was about to enter and ask for a presidential suite, he saw Kael running nervously down the street toward the Dragonlight Guild.
"Is Lucien moving that fast?" Aiden thought to himself.
Sure enough, money could move even ghosts, especially when it ca to sothing as rare as an Epic Demon’s Heart.
Looking at Kael’s back, Aiden smiled lightly.
This was just the beginning. What would happen when Kael found out his guild was ruined, and even his proud Epic Paladin profession was crushed by a Magic Apprentice? Would he break down?
Aiden was really looking forward to that.
...
Dragonlight Guild.
In the guild hall, Ronald was full of rage, taking deep breaths to try to control his anger.
At that mont, Kael rushed in in a hurry, looking lost.
"Father, what’s going on? What happened?"
Kael had just walked with Elyra, who was in a bad mood, into the wilderness, and hadn’t even started leveling up when his father called him back.
His father’s voice on the phone was extrely angry, even directly cursing him and telling him to co back quickly.
"What’s going on? How can you still have the face to ask ?" Ronald suddenly stood up and walked straight to Kael.
"Smack!" A clear slap echoed.
Kael’s face imdiately swelled up. He covered his face, his eyes full of confusion and surprise.
"I’ve told you so many tis not to provoke people you shouldn’t provoke!"
"Now look what you’ve done. The guild’s money is all gone, and the Diamond Rank materials are gone too!"
"Tell , what did you do?"Ronald couldn’t help but raise his hand again, and another slap landed on Kael.
Kael stepped back in fear and fell down on the ground, explaining."Father, I didn’t provoke anyone. I really don’t know what’s going on!"
"Believe , believe !"
Ronald gritted his teeth and kicked Kael in the stomach, yelling."How can I believe you? The deposit and the prepaynt can’t be recovered, and the whole guild is in trouble!"
"Do you know how important these materials were?"
Kael was so upset he almost started crying. He really didn’t understand why his actions had caused the guild to lose the materials, even making the deposit and prepaynt get stuck.
In recent days, he had been trying his best to chase after Elyra. He hadn’t done anything else!
"Don’t hit , father, don’t hit ! The most important thing right now is to find a way to solve this problem." Kael quickly shouted.
Ronald took a few deep breaths, trying to calm his anger.
He said sharply."Lucien gave a tip. Soon, the vice president of the Sovereign City Reclasser Association will co to The White City, along with the real geniuses of the Sovereign City."
"According to past habits, the mayor and Lucien will hold a welco banquet. They’ll invite all the important people in The White City, the top students, and so excellent teachers."
"The owner of the diamond materials will definitely be there. You have to apologize to them properly, or the guild will be finished."
Kael nodded frantically. He was scared that his father might start hitting him again.
As for who exactly, and why, he had no idea.
After a while, Ronald finally reached out and helped Kael up. He said,"This is a chance. The geniuses from the Sovereign City all co from powerful backgrounds. If you can get close to them, it will also help the guild."
"As for Elyra, she’s just okay in this small city of The White City. Compared to the real geniuses from the Sovereign City, she’s nothing."
Kael shook his head slightly, about to say sothing, but when he saw the look in Ronald’s eyes, he shut his mouth imdiately.
"Tomorrow night, the people from the Sovereign City should arrive. When you see the real geniuses, you’ll realize I was right."
"If you still don’t believe , I can let you bring Elyra along too." Ronald said slowly.
...
In the best hotel in The White City, in a presidential suite that cost 100,000 gold per night.
Aiden took a deep breath, pulled out his Profession Badge, and without hesitation, chose to absorb it.
The badge imdiately turned into a cool energy, flowing into his mind.
[You have completed Class Change. You can continue to level up.]
[Professional tier upgrade triggered. Please choose a path.]
[Option One: Class Change to Platinum Rank Dark Mage, gain Platinum Rank skill, Darkness Mastery.]
Dark Mage?
Aiden couldn’t help but frown. In the human world, there were very few dark classes. Most of them were mbers of evil organizations.
For example, the robbery group Aiden t in the wild once, they ntioned the Evil Demons Guild, which was an extre evil organization.
If he changed to a Dark Mage, he might be rejected by so Reclasser universities.
As for the Platinum Rank Darkness Mastery, it wasn’t that valuable to him.
Skills books would co out in plenty later.
Aiden took a deep breath and looked at the second option.
[Option Two: Keep current class, professional tier upgrade to Platinum Rank, gain special skill: Apprentice’s Heart.]
Aiden’s eyes lit up. Platinum Rank Magic Apprentice?
That suited him just fine. He had the 10,000x critical hit system. He would definitely get more and better Demon’s Hearts in the future. There was no need to worry about his professional tier.
But this Apprentice’s Heart made Aiden think of a line.
"A real master always keeps the heart of an apprentice."
He didn’t hesitate at all and chose the second option.
A bright white light flashed, and his status panel changed imdiately.
[Aiden
Occupation: Magic Apprentice
tier: Platinum Rank
Level: level 10, (can be upgraded)
HP (no equipnt): 100 points
Four main attributes (no equipnt): Strength 301 points. Constitution 201 points. Spirit 311 points, Agility 201 points
Skills: Apprentice’s Heart (Special), Light Healing Spell (Platinum Rank), Ultimate Frost (Platinum Rank) ...]
Without the equipnt bonuses, Aiden’s stats were no longer so extre.
"This is because I used 100 Enhancent Gems before. Otherwise, my total four stats would only be around 14 points." Aiden muttered to himself.
The difference between 14 and 1014 was huge.
For other Iron Rank professions, they were just the lowest-level, useless jobs for high-tier players.
But Aiden was different. His real strength was the 10,000x critical hit system!
Aiden focused on his special skill, Apprentice’s Heart.
[Apprentice’s Heart: Special skill. It can level up as your professional tier increases. You can spend experience points to randomly get 0-10 points of stats. The more experience you spend, the higher the chance of getting a high stat bonus. Minimum cost is 10,000 experience points.]
"Shit!" Aiden instinctively cursed.
This was a god skill!
For other players, the Apprentice’s Heart might not be useful at all.
Especially for higher-tier players, they needed so much experience to level up that they had no extra experience to use.
But Aiden was different. He had the 10,000x critical hit system. Experience points were sothing he had already collected in the hundreds of millions.
Apprentice’s Heart was a god-like skill for Aiden, even more powerful than so Mythic skills!
Aiden took a deep breath and tried to calm himself.
He noticed sothing: [0-10 points of stats] and [the higher the chance of getting high stats].
What did that an?
No guarantee at all!
This was just like a lottery, completely based on luck!
If he was unlucky, he might spend tens of thousands of experience and only get 1 or 2 points, even 0.
But if he was lucky, 10,000 experience could give him 10 points.
For a Reclasser, besides the four basic stats, there were hidden stats like charm, luck, and so on.
But the ga didn’t show them, and no one could say exactly how much they were.
Aiden thought for a mont. He didn’t think he was that unlucky. He decided to try it out. After all, he had so much experience, and it wouldn’t be a big loss.
He started with 1 million experience points!
Aiden thought the word, and the 1 million experience points disappeared. The special skill Apprentice’s Heart activated!
A bad feeling ca over Aiden.
[You used the special skill Apprentice’s Heart, spent 1 million experience, and gained 5 points of Strength, 1 point of Constitution, and 5 points of Spirit.]
"Damn, this is so unfair." Aiden said, the second ti he cursed in a short ti.
This was 1 million experience points!
He wasn’t going to give up.
He thought that raising his Platinum Rank Magic Apprentice to level 20 wouldn’t take too much experience.
This ti, he went all in with 10 million experience!
The Apprentice’s Heart skill activated again. Aiden’s heart jumped. He felt like luck was finally on his side!
